Our booking was double-booked by the property. The owner first tried to push us to reschedule at full price. Only after we refused did they offer a discounted reschedule to the next day—which is unacceptable given the mistake was theirs.
We checked the forecast before agreeing: the original date had great weather; the forced new date brought terrible weather, leaving almost no outdoor activities. That loss of experience was entirely avoidable.
The room itself was a disappointment:
Damp and cold throughout, with a persistent clammy smell
Only one small air-conditioner for heating, which struggled to warm the space
Overall uncomfortable and not what you expect for the price
To make matters worse, the owner’s attitude was poor—defensive rather than apologetic, and unwilling to take responsibility for the double-booking.
I do not recommend staying here. At a minimum, guests deserve reliable bookings, fair solutions when the property makes a mistake, and a room that’s dry, warm, and comfortable.
