Kalk Bay Theatre

After seeing 4 shows in the last year at Kalk Bay Theatre and each being unique, fun and amazing - Kalk Bay Theatre is special. The venue is an intimate setting. The team and cast are outstanding - and you can see the passion they have for being on stage and entertaining. Highly recommend!!!

We went to watch Sizzle. Absolutely amazing experience. The show was entertaining from start to finish, the performances were all incredible, the hosts were hilarious. I was sceptical about the theatre moving inside Brass Bell but the way they designed the layout and lighting made it feel like a warm, intimate theatre experience. Will definitely be back for more! :)

We love going to the Kalk Bay theatre! No matter what show is on, you know it's going to be great. It also helps that we live within walking distance. Tickets are super affordable and we often grab a meal at the theatre restaurant (Brass Bell) before the show. Looking forward to the next performance 😉

Had a great evening dining and watching a show of Encore. FEATURING: ASH AND BRAD SEARLE, VANESSA HARRIS, LIAM McDERMOTT, HANNAH HISHIN, MICHELE LA TROBE AND GARETH CHRISTIE Food was excellent and the atmosphere and service even better. Wil most definitely recommend visiting the Kalk Bay Theater.

I booked a show tonight for my anniversary and we were placed in the front row right infront of the speaker. The show was so piercingly loud I had to sit with my fingers in my ears the whole time. They kept pumping more and more and more smoke into the room, which made your eyes water. At one point even the lazers they used were shone in my eyes. After the show, I shared my experience with Allen, I was still shaking. He literally laughed at me and brushed me off saying noone else had complained and that if I don't like loud performances I shouldn't come again. How rude! We have seen many shows and been supporting the casts through the years at kbt. I have never experienced such a lack of compassion for my experience and disrespect. We are paying guests. NOTE: avoid the front row left hand side near the bar should you see a show... otherwise you are going to need painkillers for a pounding head and ringing ears afterwards

Great show of Layla, loved the musicians and their choice of theme Good fish supper, nice wine list. This quiet dinner venue benefits from being busy.
