Kallialay Surf School

What an awesome experience I had learning how to surf from the best instructors. I enrolled for a 10 days course and at the end of it, I was able to catch my own wave, and felt so comfortable in the water. It just feels so good. I got to know about Juan and Kallialay Surf School from a friend who had recommended me to come here if I had wanted to learn the basics of surfing. It was totally worth it. The instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable, yet very professional in their approach. If you are looking to learn this sport with good fundamentals, then this is the place you need to come. Super great surf school! They are really helpful and know their stuff. They had the wave projections and really good packages at different levels for lessons. They are kind patient and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend. We did the basic class and it was great! Start at 8am for hour and half. They will provide rash guards to wear and teach you safety information and the basics on learning to surf. If you are in the area this is a great place to learn. The waves are great, long curl and good clean water. Really good for learning and also for those who know how to catch the ones further out. You’ll really enjoy yourself here. Eddie was an excellent instructor and we loved our time learning from him.

I’ve surfed at many places, but if you really want to learn, this surf school is the best. The instructors are thorough professionals, prioritizing safety above all else. Every session is enjoyable and informative, and I always have a great time. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their skills in a safe and fun environment!

Great, warm people with incredible surfing expertise having surfed this sea for over 20 years. Had two lessons, brushed my basics, caught around 4 waves in my second lesson. The passion of the instructors is very visible and addicting. Will definitely come back for a longer period to enjoy this more. Samai was super welcoming, treated us with coffee and good banter. I had a great 3 day course with Kallialay and came away with significant progress in my surfing. Everyone is super welcoming and the instructors are super observant and give great feedback. Special mention for Percy, some of his tips really helped me make big improvements!

Such an amazing experience surfing with Kallialay (Juan) and team. We have surfed at multiple spots in India, but Juan was probably one of the best instructors that I have met till date. He is super informative and passionate about surfing. His tips were on point. He is so much fun to be around. We had an amazing time surfing with him and the team. 10 on 10 recommend, if you are Pondy and want to surf, then Kallialay is the best :)

I have done surf classes over the years at many different locations and schools. Kallialay unarguably is one of the best wrt to their instructors, facilities and overall vibe of the place. Very professional yet so much fun! Highly recommended whether you are a pro trying to improve on your skills or just want to start for the first time. Also great for kids, my daughter has done classes here too and she loves it! Juan and Eddy are great coaches

They have good coaching staff. I had booked for my son for 5 day course after enquiring well in advance over phone. I had booked accommodation after their confirmation. But for my bad luck they cancelled the last session for getting certification for their coaching staff which was scheduled suddenly. :(
