Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel

When researching for our trip to Greece, I came across the Kallichoron Hotel online and knew from the moment I saw pictures of the balcony and views that I had to stay there. It did not disappoint and was the perfect start to our wonderful trip! The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable with spectacular views. We loved trying most of the options available for the delicious breakfast each morning which set us up well for the day. The location was excellent and Carolina was an exceptional host assisting us with bookings, recommendations and airport transfers. We were truly sad to leave. We loved beautiful Astypalea so much and definitely hope to return to it and the Kallichoron one day!

We have only good things to say about Kallichoron. Nice room, amazing shower, very comfortable beds and great views. The complementary breakfast was fantastic - one of the best I ever had at a hotel. It really shows that the hotel is run with care and attention to details. The owner/hotel manager is super friendly and speaks excellent English. We will be back! (Tip: room 6 was great, with a wonderful view of the chora from our private terrace)

If you are coming to Astypalaia, this is the place to stay! The rooms are gorgeous, clean and have the best view you could possibly get. The staff and hotel manager are exceptional and the service is like no other we’ve experienced! The breakfast was so tasty and they even catered for dietary preferences (I was vegan and I was able to not only have a great breakfast every single day but also choose from many different options!). They went to great lengths to accommodate everything we needed and were kind, friendly and generous! There’s no hesitation that this is the best accommodation!! Thank you for the amazing stay and for giving us such unforgettable memories!

Our stay in Kallichoron was amazing! Location is perfect, people are warm and the breakfast is delicious, everything handmade filled with love and care! Everything was excellent!! We will certainly stay in Kallichoron again and again!

Kallichoro has been the best choice we made for our holiday in Astypalea. The team was expecting us as guests and treated us as such throughout the week. The rooms are the cleanest we have ever experienced. The people true and accommodating, we really felt cared for... Both livadia and the chora rooms are comfortably near everything and on the way to beaches one has to visit. The view of the castle and the bay in chora stays with us, the atmosphere of a welcome in a traditional village in Livadia was special.

We spent Easter at Kalichoron Boutique Hotel and it just made our stay in Astypalaia so much more magical and unforgettable. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, spectacular views -the most perfect spot to see the fireworks from- very nice and clean rooms. Thank you all, we will definitely be back!

I wanted a secure solution for my holidays in the beautiful island of Astypalaia, so I chose this hotel despite the fact that the price was one of the highest on the island.|I was not disappointed. Everybody made us feel welcomed. The room was big and comfortable with many amenities. The breakfast very good. You have to choose from the night before, among infinite options and it will be delivered to your door in the morning.| The location is great, exactly in the center of the village. We needed a car and they arranged it for us at a good price. There is parking area also. They provide free transport from the airport (I suppose from the port also).| I recommend this hotel to those who prefer to live in the main village from having the beach at the doorstep. However if you have a car, the main beach is 5'.

We stayed at Kallichoron for 4 nights, it was a recommendation from an acquaintance of mine and it did not disappoint! As soon as we arrived the lovely lady at reception made us feel welcome and Casanova the black labrador, who is totally the Master of the hotel, accompanied us to our room to ensure that everything was up to his standards. :o)||The room has a tablet where you can order breakfast for the next morning (needs to be done by 9 at night) and lots of other info. You can also order breakfast by filling in the paper form, and leaving it at reception, but we opted for the online method for less paper wastage. The breakfast (called Grandma's breakfast) has won awards and I can totally see why, it was a huge selection of traditional and local products and we chose something different every day, I wish I could have stayed there forever to try everything on the menu! ||The hotel staff have also provided a map of the island and very helpful recommendations on beaches, restaurants, bars and everything to do and see on the island, which was really appreciated! ||The rooms are nicely laid out, clean and our room had a beautiful view to the castle and windmills and a cute little balcony area where breakfast gets delivered in a tray every day. There’s also a handy hanging rack and clothes pins for drying your swimsuits outside. In the room there is a small kitchen with all necessities, including a Nespresso machine with Taf coffee capsules, Greek coffee, a variety of teas (even hand-picked sage tea!) and reusable/biodegradable straws made of wheat, really everything has been thought of by the Kallichoron staff, no detail has remained unnoticed.||The staff also helped us book a great day trip to Kounoupes, Koutsomitis and Red Rock with the beautiful traditional boat Perla, which was a highlight of our trip.|I’ve recommended Kallichoron to all my friends already and can’t wait to stay there again next time I’m in the beautiful island of Astypalaia. Kudos to the staff for their friendliness, hospitality, and the amazing job they've done with the place, and an extra ear rub for Casanova!||PS. The only small criticism I had was that there was a note in the toilet saying to leave towels on the floor if we want them changed, and we never did, but they were changed after the second night.
