Kalua Beach Bar-Restaurant

this place is great, has a chill vibe that keeps progressing as the day goes on. most of the afternoon was chill lounge music, you talk to the person next to you and still hear them. then around 4:30-5:00 it gets more hyped up like a traditional beach club. for the sunbeds, it's $50 per person with $80 minimum spending per person. the drinks average about $20-$25 as expected for a beach club, the food was great, worth the money. it's expensive but worth it. the service was fantastic

Kalua has the perfect balance of Mykonian energy and relaxed island charm—sunbeds that invite you to linger all day, music that slowly builds until the whole beach is alive, and food that honestly surprised me with its freshness and flavor. The atmosphere felt effortlessly vibrant, not forced, and the staff made everything flow with a smile, even when the place was full. By the time the sun dipped into the Aegean and the crowd was dancing barefoot in the sand, I knew this was one of those rare spots that delivers the full Mykonos experience.

Absolutely buzzing atmosphere! The drinks were spot on — perfectly refreshing. We ordered a burger, and to be honest, I didn’t expect it to taste that good — incredibly juicy and delicious. By the afternoon, the party vibe was in full swing. Highly recommended!

The beach at this club is very nice. We found that many other beaches are rocky but this has a nice sandy beach. It has a more chill vibe, with good music. They don't blast party music like some of the other clubs. Day beds are $20 per person, with a minimum spend that is different per row. Row 4 was $40. The staff is very friendly, you just have to get their attention if you want something. They don't check in with you, but that's probably intentional so you can enjoy your day at the beach uninterrupted. Only suggestion to this place is maybe space the beds out a little more, you sit very close to the guests next to you and their umbrella will eventually shade you whether it's open or closed. Overall, I would recommend this beach club and we would come again if we return to Mykonos.

Whoever they have as live singer needs to be fired immediately, was the reason we left early. Not 18+, beside another beach club with kids everywhere, and Kalua itself is kid friendly…sorry no one wants to be at a beach club in Mykonos with kids around. The party starts at 5, so before then it’s really just a regular beach. Terrible service, very hard to get anyone’s attention. Food I will say is good, but 100000% not a reason to go. Dont waste your time and energy here.

Beach club with bohemian vibes. From 10am until around 4pm the music is chill/relaxed mix but just after 4 you’ll get full on beach party thumping base. The beach is nice, there is a big flat stone in the middle but on either side there’s sand. You can walk out on the stone just be careful not to slip. Lots of fish swimming around and the water clarity is amazing. The service is excellent and I thought the food was really nice. Sushi rolls were very well done as were a few other items we tried. I also thought the cost of the front row cabana and food was not to bad given how expensive things are in Mykonos in general. Overall I would highly recommend Kalua

We came to Kalua for a dinner reservation and from the moment we arrived, they treated us like absolute royalty. The atmosphere was buzzing – high vibes, great music, and a perfect balance of energy and elegance. Service was a flawless 5 stars – attentive without being overbearing, and every detail felt thought through. The food was to die for – fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. The highlight? The owner herself came over to say hello when she heard we were fellow Kiwis – such a warm, personal touch that made the night even more special. Kalua isn’t just a beach club; it’s an experience. If you want amazing food, impeccable service, and the best vibes in Mykonos, this is the spot.

I made a reservation months in advance, properly submitted payment and was charged for a deposit. When I arrived, they said they did not have my reservation, which was for 8 people in the fifth row of daybeds. We tried working with many of the staff to get it rectified, when they finally told us they had a solution to place us altogether, they sat us in the second row. When it came time for the bill, they told us we had not met our minimum which was confusing because we were keeping track of it — that’s when I realized they raised my minimum without flagging it to me or anyone in my group. I told them by not having my reservation in the place that I booked was not on me and was on them considering I had already paid a deposit months in advance. They didn’t ask me for approval on upping my minimum, and they phrased our relocation as a make good for their mistake. They were incommunicative and extremely rude and verbatim said they don’t do refunds under any circumstances. The waiter suggested that we couldn’t afford to be there and told me he was happy to get back our tip if that was the case. Literally spend your time anywhere else in Mykonos. Extremely rude, extremely unprofessional, and just a bunch of scammers
