An unforgettable stay at Kalukanda House! My wife Cynthia and I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Kalukanda House for 7 days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the lovely property, and the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home, perfect for a relaxing holiday! One of the highlights of our stay was the daily yoga sessions with Sala, who helped us reach a new level of relaxation. The Sound Bath session with Rachel was another amazing experience that was new to us, and it added an extra layer of serenity to our stay. The property's proximity to the main Weligama beach stretch made it easy for us to enjoy breathtaking sunset beach walks. The Sri Lankan food at Kalukanda House was simply amazing, and we looked forward to each meal. An added bonus was the regular visits from a troop of monkeys, which made our stay even more special. We cannot recommend Kalukanda House highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Kalukanda House, wow! I stayed at this beautiful stylish villa with my family over new year 2025 and it was a simply brilliant holiday. Dee has created a stunning yet homely and welcoming environment and with her local team ensured no detail was overlooked in making our stay an amazing experience. Nothing was too much trouble, yet all done incredibly discreetly. What makes Kalukanda House special is the brilliant combination of place and the people who work there. I’ve stayed in many lovely places in Sri Lanka but this is definitely one we all agreed we will be coming back to.

This beautiful house is an absolute sacred haven on Kalukanda Road. All details carefully woven into place and something beautiful to enjoy at every corner. We’ve experience two dinners here and the food has been exceptional, including the Vegan options. One of our favourite features is the cabana in the garden to socialise or take a moment with a book. The owner has poured her heart into this space and you will really feel that on arrival. With Jungle Beach just around the corner and yoga classes directly next door, it’s a hot spot and a must stay here in Kalukanda!

To the team at Kalukanda House, I cannot express to you how much we loved staying at your house. Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect, the staff are friendly, warm and helpful and Chef's food was wonderful. The house is stunning, we had so much fun lazing by the pool watching the monkeys swing from the trees above, the beds are very comfortable and the house has been finished beautifully. We had a very special week at your house and we cannot wait to come back in 2026!

What a wonderful time we had in K house. Perfect location in a peaceful neighbourhood, the chitter chatter of the local primary school punctuated the soundscape perfectly. The house is tastefully appointed, it’s big enough for 2 families. The verandah is a joy , particularly when it’s pouring and petrichor fills the air. The staff were lovely and did their best considering all. Dee was always on the end of the line in case of any issues , was easy to deal with and full of ideas to enhance our stay. My favourite aspect of the house was the verdant green backdrop of the cliff that the house is set into. You have to see it to believe it. Wonderful and thank you.

Fabulous family holiday at Kalukanda House. This was our first time visit Sri Lanka- we had the most wonderful time- the villa has everything that you could ask for. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The trips that were arranged on our behalf were incredible - we got to experience so much that this fabulous country has to offer. I cannot recommend Sri Lanka and Kalukanda House enough!

Oh my word. Go, go, go. What a beautiful house which is perfectly set 200m from the beach. The team who run the house catered for our every need and were faultless. The standard of food was so high, chef Saranga cooked the local dishes to perfection and at such a reasonable budget. We also did private cooking lesson with him at his home. Honestly sad to leave but we will come back, also try the yoga studio next door run by Nicola & Ricardo we really enjoyed their practice.
