A few days ago, we purchased a Kama Ayurveda gift set from Nykaa, which included a water-based cream, a yogurt mask, and an oil. During the purchase, the agent added a cleanser, claiming it was free. However, we were later charged ₹2,950 in total lump sum.
When I got home and checked the same gift set on Nykaa’s app, I saw it was listed for around ₹2,500. It’s now clear that the so-called “free” cleanser was actually used to adjust in that bill.
This feels quite misleading and disappointing. Not only was the pricing unfair, but the products themselves were quite underwhelming for a premium brand. The yogurt mask, in particular, was very disappointing you'd honestly get better results using plain yogurt from your fridge.
Overall, the experience felt more like a sales trick than a genuine recommendation, and it left us feeling let down.
