This “Hell” is designed as a one-stop for many tour groups thus it is busier with many tour buses dropping off tourists every other minute. Can get cramped and noisy.
Has 2 large pools of different kinds to see, but not many good photo opportunities because of the crowd.
There’s a food corner at the end of the walk around the pools offering steamed food and Aso milk. Had the milk and the steamed pudding which were delicious. Not many areas to enjoy your snack as there are other tourists crowding into your personal space.
Virtually no space to enjoy the foot bath as well because of, yet again, too many tourists.
If you want to just visit one “Hell” and be done with it all after seeing the hot springs, then come to this one bright and early. But if you value the experience as a whole, I would recommend coming to this last.
