One of the better hells in the Beppu area, with multiple different kinds of hot springs in different colours. If you don’t want to visit all the hells, I recommend checking out this one to get the most out of the experience

The staff will perform a small little trick. At least they did when we were there. See last video. Also, be sure to try the onsen boiled eggs with the sauce. We ended up loving it and bought several bottles of the sauce.

Spot has lot of activities. Can drink hell can smell and feel hell with its vapors. Also can eat Onsen Tamago(Egg) with soda while enjoying foot onsen. Here offer free rent towels which is unexpected offer

All the Beppu Hells are amazing to visit, but I really enjoyed this one. Their pudding and especially the onsen eggs, served with salt and yuzu ponzu sauce, are delicious. You can enjoy looking at the different pools, the footbath, drinking some hot spring water (a little salty, I recommend it), and breathing in the steam.

If you come on. A cold rainy day the heat coming from the spring is really nice, the staff is super friendly and the spring are very mystical, i was also told they change colors depending on the weather, in my case the big pond was blue.

Yesterday I went here by bus. The weather was raining. I bought my ticket in advance. It’s weekday but the tourists are jammed packed.. but still I enjoyed watching and eating onsen tamago.
