Fantastic hospitality great view and location If you love the classic & antique westernized Japanese hotel this is it. Plus all the restaurants in this hotel are amazingly delicious

I met the manager of the hotel in the lobby as we checked in and he explained that he had been a senior manager at the imperial Hotel in Tokyo for 30 years. He’s probably why the hotel is in such good condition. Although there are some nicks in the scratches, like in many older hotels in Japan, this one has been nicely renovated 15 years ago. It’s on the busy road, but you don’t hear anything because the construction is so solid. We stayed in a tatami room, which was lovely. The futon cushion and sheets were very very comfortable and nice. There is a lot of beautiful flower arrangements in the lobby and elsewhere. I debated between giving four stars and five stars but I gave the latter due to the very attractive price. Most of the clientele seem to be on the older side but we saw some young families too.

We had a wonderful oceanview room at this hotel. The room was very spacious as it also had a sofa bed in a niche in the corner. Yes, it is a little dated but none the less the room offered more than adequate amenities for our two night stay in this wonderful town. We had a complimentary breakfast for our stay. We chose the Western cuisine and it was not disappointing. The coffee was delicious! Overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay at this hotel.

It's a Great Hotel 🏩 great location and nice Western or Japanese style breakfast, very clean and great customers service, the only thing that would approve the outstanding quality is tv service they only provide a few Japanese programs like game shows or news media, it would have been super great if they provided more tv channels services, you will have great views of the beach 🏖 areas, and the boardwalk to the right 👉🏾 walking 🚶🏿 leads you to Fuji 🗻 Mountain views, To the boardwalk walking 🚶🏿 to the left 👈🏾 it would lead you to surfers 🏄🏾‍♀️ they also have a restaurant next to the hotel that have great food called Venus with excellent foods drinks, and dessert 🍰, I really enjoyed my stay there 😊

We were there for two night in March 2018. Our stay was very pleasant as the room was so comfort with lots of space and very comfortable. We also tried both Japanese and Western types breakfast on each day, and both were super. The services were very efficient, professional, and polite. We had asked for help from the reception to book a strawberry picking trip for us and two ladies at the counter were very helpful and arranged us a great itinerary. ||||The location is also great and I got a chance to do my running along the coast line in front of the hotel every morning. We had a great stay and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed only 1 night during a business trip but quite a modern hotel located directly opposite the ocean. Comfortable and clean rooms but slightly dated in style and amenities. Hotel service was excellent. Breakfast was traditional Japanese or Western and very nice. Easy parking onsite and several dining options. Japanese restaurant was very authentic.

We loved staying at this hotel. It's on the water, has views of the bay and the windows open - fresh air! ||||This was our first time staying in Kamakura - we have visited before but never stayed overnight - and whilst there's not a lot of choice in terms of hotel accommodation, we were certainly happy with our decision. ||||We wanted to take time to explore this wonderful town, and ride the Enoden train as much as we could. We also wanted to unwind, and staying at Kamakura Park Hotel gave us plenty of opportunity to do all of these things.||||You have to walk through the back streets to get to the nearest train station, Hase, about 10 minutes away. We really like exploring the back streets of any town or city and staying at this hotel certainly gave us plenty to discover; we took a different route every day.||||And the staff were amazing, especially Haruna Ueki. She certainly made our stay very special. Lucky for us, she has spent time living in our hometown, so she understood us very quickly and was able to give us lots of tips about coffee, eating and what to see.||||One tip though, whilst having a room with a view was certainly wonderful, we couldn't leave our window open all night as the traffic noise was too constant. It's a road that everyone uses to go up and down the coast, so the traffic never stops. However, closing the window certainly blocked out nearly all of the noise.

This is a pleasant hotel, right by the beach. My room was clean and comfortable with a view of the water. There was a person at the front desk who spoke English well and helped me make a dinner reservation. They took guests’ temperature each day.

Yelp
When the base lifted some restrictions this summer, allowing us to once again venture forth and lay our heads on a pillow outside our home, we got quick to searching for a fancy find to safely celebrate a pause in covid restrictions. The Kamakura Park Hotel was an absolute perfect choice after four months in our home. First, safety - temperature checks, health screening, sanitizer everywhere ... they even checked dates in my passport to ensure I had been in country throughout the pandemic. We booked a suite - which was pricey, but oh so beautiful! Every room was absolutely gorgeous! The ocean view is separated by a busy highway, but no big deal. It was still scenic. We had a living room with a nice private bar, bedroom, and a gorgeous bathroom. There are many dining options near-by, but if you're going to be fancy and stay at the Kamakura Park, match your dining to your accommodation and check out Ol Trevino near Hase station. That is fine dining!!!! All in all, this hotel was great! I'd suggest it for a special occasion - anniversary, birthday, quarantine pause.... Yup - something special. Enjoy!
