Kamala Resotel

A great hotel. The room was good, nice view, daily cleaning and towel change. Super friendly staff, the best hotel breakfast I had while in Thailand (stayed at 4 different places). I really enjoyed the rooftop pool and eating take away on the roof during sundown. The location is perfect, close to everything. They even have a lounge with AC that you can stay in after check out. Would absolutely stay again!

Just completed a 7 night stay at the Kamala Beach Resotel in Phuket and cannot recommend it highly enough. Located 5 minutes from the beach and surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants this cosy hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooftop pool is great and the buffet breakfast more than adequate to set you up for the day. The large, open and spacious rooms are air-conditioned and comfortably furnished, although the lack of wardrobe space could be an irritation. You also need to be a contortionist to access the safe, but I suppose nowhere is perfect! However this is more than compensated for by one of the most comfortable bed I've slept in on my travels. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the friendly staff are extremely helpful. Kamala beach is one of the quieter resorts on the island but not far from the craziness of Patong and a 600 baht taxi ride from the old town of Phuket. Excellent value for money.

We stayed for 7 nights and had a great time throughout. The highlight is the staff, because everyone is kind, helpful and provided great service. We even got a breakfast box each day our day trips started before the breakfast was served. The room is very clean and functional, the short walking distance to the beach is perfect, the pool on the rooftop added the final touch. We would stay again, easily.

Sao was lovely in her greeting us to the Resotel. We got escorted to room 107. The room was huge with a kitchen & a huge bathroom. The rooftop pool on level 5 was very nice to cool off in. . Some maintenance was needed on the decking in the smoking area. The gentleman at the desk was also very friendly & helpful. Cleaners & kitchen staff had very minimal interaction with guests. Breakfast was served on level 5. Nothing to rave about but adequate. Different eggs & meat noodles or rice was served daily. Hotel was clean & had undercover parking for motorcycles. Located on an at times busy street that led to the beach ,noise was never a problem. Close to beach, restaurants, supermarket & night market. Would stay here again.

Very rude and liar and unprofessional hotel manager he presented himself as the owner He was extremely greedy racism he saying literally that he doesn’t like all Arab. Africain and Indian customers and he requested us to cancel the booking that he thought we are Europisn because we booked from Italie In the lobby so many customers complained and fighting because he never returned the deposit amount even if nothing damages Very poor location inside the mess street of Kamala I would like to highlight that the hotel photos completely different from the reality when you came to reception you will confirm my statement

Friendly and helpful staff, especially the two front-desk staff. Hotel is located in a quiet but strategic area. Kamala beach (beautiful beach) is a mere 5 minutes walk away. 7-Eleven and other stores (Big C etc.) are also just a short distance away. There's also a dry cleaning service next to the hotel. Breakfast options were good and always delicious. Enjoyed my stay there.

A good hotel set slightly further from the beach (but still within easy walking distance to it, as well as shops and restaurants). Rooms were nice, with good working surfaces, essential as divers with camera equipment. Stand-out was the roof-top swimming pool, adjacent to the breakfast area. This pool looks towards the sea, and is a really nice place to relax a bit.
