"Located on the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula, this rugged nature park is the perfect place to set off with a backpack and be active for the day. You can follow in the fossilized footprints of the dinosaurs at Cape Grakolovac, visit an Istrian ox farm and have lunch at a family-owned agritourism operation, lounge at the funky seafront Safari Bar overlooking the Mala Kolombarica cove, ride a bicycle along the orchid trail, kayak or windsurf along the coast, or swim in coves with crystal-clear water. To learn more about the park, head to the House of Nature Kamenjak in the nearby town of Premantura."

It was such a delight to our eyes and on a good weather day, would be a great place for snorkelling, kayaking or diving. When we went, the water was quite chill and we went around the sunset time… it was so beautiful and calming just to sit around watching the nature and listen to the waves.

Kamenjak is absolutely stunning, the nature is incredible and the water is crystal clear. However, the crowds can be overwhelming, which takes away from the experience a bit. The entrance fee and prices are quite high, and finding parking at some beaches can be a real challenge. It’s definitely worth visiting, but just be prepared for these downsides, especially in peak season.

Very nice park. 15 euro fee for one car for one day. Easy to buy a ticket online with car plate number. Be aware, very rocky roads. The park has access to numerous small and big beaches with their own charm. By car you can reach almost all the beaches with a small walk.

I must admit, it is an interesting area to visit. But definitely not for swimming and sunbathing. First off all so called "beaches" are very rocky, and the few sqm that you have available in perhaps a handful of them are packed. Even there the beach is not sandy at all but more, earthy/muddy. Secondly, 15 EUR entrance fee is way too much for what you get.

Rocky quay. There is a lot of parking places. You can reach almost the very end of the Istria seashore with a car. Price for the car to enter the region is 10 eur (as of May 2023).

Even though the car ride is a bit long, it is completely worth it in the end. Could spend weeks here and explore a different "beach" (aka wild beach) every day. Great for adventurists and privacy-loving people, but also if you like sitting in bars and hanging around other people.
