Side Ocakbaşı Restaurant

One of the best restaurants in Side all around!! The food was delicious, very well seasoned, the portions are just right. Fresh vegetables, warm and fresh bread, we loved it. Big compliments to the staff who were amazingly sweet and very welcoming. We were taken care of during the whole meal. If you’re not sure what to order, the waiter will kindly explain everything on the menu and will accommodate to your preferences. We left the restaurant with full heart and full belly.

Fantastic setting overlooking sea. Staff very friendly and attentive. Well put together menu, not expansive but has a good choice. The food was excellent couple that with the setting aswell, simply amazing! Highly recommend during a visit to old town.

My partner and I stumbled across this beautiful restaurant on our recent holiday to Side. We decided to take the night off of having our all inclusive buffet and wander the local area for something different. I searched the local area for restaurants that appealed to us both and was intrigued to see this if this restaurant could accommodate us due to the wonderful reviews and gorgeous sea view. We did not have a reservation but were promptly accommodated by staff with a welcoming smile. Our server - Seref was amazing, he was very helpful at translating and provided meal/dish recommendations to us. Both me & my partner agreed this restaurant is must visit and throughly enjoyed trying some local cuisine. The view, atmosphere, the service all 10/10, thank you to Seref all the rest of the team. If you’re in two minds about where to out for a meal this is the place to be. The chicken shish was beautiful, cocktails sweet and sour and quality of food? - so much better than your hotel.

We had a beautiful meal here. The food was excellent, the mixed seafood platter was perfectly cooked. The staff were lovely and all really attentive. I would highly recommend popping in here!

Amazing traditional Turkish cuisine restaurant with a Sea view, great atmosphere and delicious food. We've had Mezze, shrimps, octopus, lamb and everything was really fresh. The staff was friendly and gave us advice about the most suitable food for us. We highly recomand the place.

Our last night in Side, and by far the best meal and service. A real shame that more people don't walk a little further away from the main harbour area to some of the better restaurants on the east side of Side. This was the first restaurant in a week where the waiters attention lasted beyond serving the main dish. The food was excellent, not a carbon copy of just about every other restaurant in Side, a limited menu but something for everyone. Every dish we saw coming from the kitchen looked superb. My steak was one of the best I've had in years, and the filo and pistachio sweet was divine. Excellent attentive service from waiters who knew the menu and wine list. Never on your face but there when you wanted them. Lovely peaceful spot overlooking the moon lit sea. My only regret was not finding the restaurant earlier in the holiday.

We visited this restaurant while on holiday in Antalya and were absolutely blown away! Traveling all the way from the UK, we were looking for an authentic and memorable Turkish dining experience, and Kamer Ocakbaşı delivered beyond expectations. The food was incredible, fresh, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection right on the grill. Every dish was delicious, especially the meats and mezes, which were clearly made with care and expertise. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel like family. Their hospitality truly made our visit special. The sea view is absolutely beautiful and added a perfect touch to the entire experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Worth every mile we traveled to get here! We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in Turkey again!

To start, what caught my attention was the beautifully arranged seating next to the oceans gentle waves. When we spoke to the first waiter at the entrance he offered us the foreigner hits, french fries and eggs etc. Do not be deterred! We asked for the turkish food menu and were recommended the house special Ocakbasi for 2 people by Şeref. Enticed, we sat down and were recommended the fresh strawberry daikiri for drinks. Both were outstanding! The Ocakbasi came with mezze. Our very hospitable waiter Hakan was was shocked to find how quickly we ate! We ordered the tomato salad as well and got a plate of tomato, fresh cheese and onion in pomegranate dressing, also amazing. To end a wonderful meal, we were given a coffee each on the house! 10/10!!!! Being on the far side of the peninsula this is a hidden gem everyone should visit in Side!
