Really funny to ask for a ticket when it is empty inside. This is NOT part of the ticket combo you can get inside of the city was is just ridiculous. You pay 5€ for a view which you can get by walking up the tower in the city which is included in your city ticket. If you only wanted some scenic pictures I can see why you’d do this.

The tour allows you to enjoy an overview panorama of the old town as well as the bay and mountains that surround Trogir. The fort serves as an open-air performance hall, so it is generally empty aside from small attractions. The ascent to the top is done by a regular but very steep staircase.

Kamerlengo Castle (Kula Kamerlengo), located at the edge of Trogir's charming old town, is a fascinating piece of medieval history and a must-see for any visitor. Built in the 15th century by the Venetians, the fortress once served as a military stronghold and now offers tourists a unique blend of history, panoramic views, and cultural experience. Walking through the castle’s stone corridors and climbing its sturdy walls transports you back in time. From the top, you're rewarded with breathtaking 360° views over the Adriatic Sea, the Trogir waterfront, and the surrounding town. It’s especially magical at sunset, when the golden light reflects on the sea and ancient walls. The castle is often used in the summer for open-air concerts and cultural events, adding a lively atmosphere to this historic site. The entry fee is modest, and the experience is well worth it. While there’s not a lot of signage or exhibitions inside, the structure itself and the views are more than enough reason to visit. If you're exploring Trogir, don’t skip Kamerlengo Castle. It’s perfect for history enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone wanting to enjoy a scenic moment above one of Croatia’s most beautiful towns.

Lovely castle, small enough for little ones not to get bored. Just watch out for the drops from the big tower/low walls! Well priced (as of Aug 25) €5 adults, €2.50 kids/students.

Great view from Trogir old city going from the historic center, towers, church, bridges and Čiovo island. Nice to know regarding the castle’s name related to the Venetian official who oversaw the city's finances during the period of Venetian rule. They have a small shop for handcrafted jewelry inside.

Loved this place. :) It is kind of hard and slippery to get to the top, but be careful. It is worth it. We went on 26th of August and it was really crowded, so keep that in mind. Adults pay 5 EUR per person. Best time to go is sunset time, but also when it gets dark.

There's really very little to see inside, it's now mainly used as a venue for performances, concerts and shows. It was built in the 15th Century and an information video in the main tower with English broadcast provides more information on the history of the fortress. The main reason to visit here is for the great views over the town from the top of the main tower. This place along with St Lawrence's Cathedral Bell Tower provide the two best views of Trogir.

Nice views from the top of the tower. 5€ entrance fee is expensive for a 30 minute visit. Apart from walking around the walls and climbing the tower, there is nothing else inside.
