"At this colorful eatery in San Nicolas, the owner, chef, and namesake crafts piquant sauces to accompany a variety of fresh seafood and meat. The curry goat-and-chicken roti (spicy stew wrapped in flat bread) is a top choice, as is the fried red snapper with Creole sauce. Shrimp with red beans in garlic sauce also can’t be missed. The atmosphere is as friendly and laid-back as one would expect in a Caribbean family home. Just don’t ask Kamini for recipes—her sauces are closely guarded."

The food was amazing. I highly recommend the lamb with the mushroom sauce and the chicken curry which won the best chicken curry award in Aruba. It was fabulous. Wait staff was amazing and there were only a few people there at the time. Great local food. Great local vibes on the way to baby Beach.

My wife and I shared the Roti chicken curry. It was one of the best meals we had in Aruba. It wasn't spicy, but had plenty of flavor. I would definitely eat there again.

Of all the food Ive eaten in Aruba. This is hands down the best. The food was amazing. I had chicken soup, passion fruit juice and curry goat roti. Even greater than the food was the service. I felt well cared for, almost as if I stopped by my aunt for lunch. Ms. Christine spent time not just making sure our meals were perfect but also that we were enjoying Aruba overall. If you are looking for a great meal. This spot must be the top of your list.

Very friendly and local feeling. The signature dishes were surprising but VERY good. The rest is not only fried stuff but also nicely prepared home kitchen and soulfood. The prices are on American level but no blame here since the whole island is like that and it is local owned which I like to support. Absolute must-go. Watch out for opening times since they early in the evening.

It’s one of those coincidences which make the day perfect. Actually we tried to visit a highly recommended restaurant, but it was closed and driving around we stopped at Kamini’s kitchen and had not only the best food of Aruba, it was the service, the Ambiente, simply everything. We loved it! If you want to eat real local arubian food surrounded with happy people - that’s the place to be!

It’s a little bit far from the most of the resorts and famous beaches (i.e, eagle beach, palm beach), but is definitely worth visiting. One recommendation for the owner is to start serving tap water. It was the only place where we had to pay for water on the island, which is ridiculous. We got chicken soup, the lamb rack and curry oxtails. I was not fan of the soup, but the gravy sauce on the lamb was very delicious.

This establishment was recommended by one of the guys working at the resort we stayed at. Finally was able to get there and was not disappointed. Was greeted by an all smiles server and immediately had a connection. Our other server a young man from 🇯🇲 was extremely friendly and took our order. Gave us some ideas off menu to chose from. I was pumped b/c had "doubles" a Trini delicacy so got that as my appetizer. Fresh juices included mango and passion fruit so had a mix of both. Water is bottled so if want that too you pay for it. The restaurant that has a very open concept is very busy. The breezy atmosphere this offers is a gr8 addition w/ the Aruba heat. It looks like a hse that was turned in2 a restaurant. No fancy, fru-fruness, it's perfect for the location. Wafting thru the air are the different smells from the kitchen can tell everything being prepared is fresh and made at time of order. The food came out piping hot and oh so flavorful!!! Hubster had the polenta (corn meal) fried w/ gouda on top. The main was curry goat w/ rice and peas, fresh salad and mixed steam veggies prepared as a stir fry. Hubby had the curry snapper w/ bami (noodles and veggies mixed). We were quite satisfied by the portions given and the taste of the dishes chosen. The price was reasonable. So if looking for a good Caribbean restaurant pls chk out this hidden gem in San Nicholas u won't b disappointed. It would be on rotation every time I return to Aruba no doubt.... added fun fact it is woman owned by a 🇹🇹.... woo-hoo.
