Not too bad for a 2 star hotel but the rooms are very very small, especially if you select the 2 twin bed option which can fit up to 4 pax max. Looks big in picture but only 13sq m. Good enough for a 1 night stay. It comes with hot and cold water dispenser at Lobby. Friendly English speaking reception.

We had a enjoyable stay at this hotel. The location is great, the rooms are clean, and the prices are fair. A special shout-out to Pandy at the night reception. His helpful and friendly service made our overall experience truly excellent.

I really wanted to give Kamon Hotel Namba a five-star review, especially given its great location and reasonable pricing. It’s conveniently situated for exploring Osaka, and the hotel offers some thoughtful extras like complimentary bicycles and a large selection of board games, which were nice touches. However, several aspects of the stay were underwhelming. The rooms were quite small and not very soundproof — we could hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The wait times for the lift were unusually long, which became frustrating, especially during peak hours. One of the more confusing parts of the stay was the in-house restaurant. It was impossible to make a reservation for breakfast or dinner on short notice, yet it never seemed to be full, which felt poorly managed. Additionally, there was no room cleaning during our stay, and we had to take out our own trash bags, which wasn’t what we expected from a hotel experience. The staff were generally friendly but not always helpful when we had questions or needed assistance. There were also noticeable scuff marks in the hallways and on the floors, giving the hotel a slightly worn feel. Overall, while the price is reasonable and there were some positives, the stay didn’t quite meet expectations. Not sure if I’d return.

This hotel was in a good location for exploring and was fairly spacious for a group of four. Despite the email confirmation and a lot of the booking being only in Japanese, as an English speaker, they were very accommodating and we didn't have trouble checking in. If I were to visit Osaka again, I would definitely consider going here again.

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff that speaks English. Room is small, as expecte, but had everything we needed, beds were comfy and toilet impeccably clean. We added breakfast for one day, it was just ok. You can choose from Japanese or Western style. The Western one (not pictured) was little, regarding portions, for our 13 yo son.

Stayed several nights here whilst I was in Osaka, and thought it was a great spot. The location is fantastic, it’s very central and there’s plenty to walk and see, as well as eateries close by. The staff here are also great, they’re kind and friendly and speak both Japanese and English. The rooms are a little on the dirtier side, with there being scuffing and black marks on nearly all the walls in the room, the beds and pillows were super comfortable. There was black mould spots in the bathroom which I assume is why it smelt a musky. Worth it for the price for sure, would’ve liked the bathroom to be a little cleaner.

Pandy was such a great staff. Made my stay worth it alone. Would stay again. 10/10 service by him.

We choose this hotel due to near to subway, Kuromon Market and walk distance to Nanba. We booked twin room and surprisingly room was big and clean but sadly we don't get any water bottle on the amenities so be prepared to buy them when you stay there. Breakfast was tasty but not so much choices especially who like breads and other western breakfast as they just served Japanese full course in like Bento setting up but for menu they will give you 2 or 3 varieties of menus to choose.
