Kamon-yama Park

Beautiful park that I didn't actually intend to visit. I only found it on my way to the shrine, and it was a lovely surprise. There are nice small paths you can take, and very quiet spaces. I love to walk and listen to the insects. The pond is lovely too.

Nice display of Sakura trees but far short of 200 trees claimed by concierge. Is it worth making a special trip to look? If you have lots of time to spare?! Look at my photos. If you like, then go and have a look

Very beautiful park. You can see the Yokohama Tower from here and the park itself is wide so you can run around or even ride your bicycle . I went through this everyday when I was studying in a college in Yokohama . Also during spring this place get filled with Sakura. Great place to relax from the busy streets below

Not too big Park but nice view surrounded by Sakura. There's Kamon statue represented for the person who attributed for open trading with other countries (American, Europe)

Great spot to hanami and see landmark tower from a distance. Has a very local vibe to it. No soft grass but the amount of Sakura trees makes up for it.

A nice and less crowded park. Went there for ohanami with couchsurf friends. I like this place compare to Tokyo. :>

Cute place, it has some picnic tables where you can sit and have a picnic but there is not grass so sitting on the floor is not the best. The toilet they have it's just the Japanese style toilet. Apparently everyday there is people who goes with their dogs to the park.

Me & my daughter really like to play & stay at komon yama park. When we are stay in japan, my girl like go to kamon yama park every day to meet her friends
