Could soon get a bit stuffy and bad air. My curtains were gard to close and made a lot of noise. No shelf to put my glasses on at night. And on Friday and Saturday, be prepared to be able to listen to the music from the bar downstairs. I actually liked this place a lot despite this. Good vibe, clean, spacious, good location. Would go again.

The atmosphere of the coffee/restaurant downstairs was great. I had a delicious chicken curry and a local beer. All of the staff were wonderful, even when I managed to oversleep the checkout time......they were really understanding and let me pack my stuff without putting stress on me.|Everything was clean and there were enough showers and toilets. If you wanted to relax you could use the common are where there was a fridge, microwave and more. The beds are comfortable and there is a lamp and plugs.||There were not enough lockers, unfortunately all of them were being used when I was there.|The walls are pretty thin, even though I used ear plugs I could still hear the people from the room next door.

Nice hostel, we used this place as a base to visit Naoshima for a day trip. The hostel is above a cool bar and cafe, it's where you check in. The staff are really friendly. We arrived earlier than check in and we could leave our bags so that we could go check out Okayama castle and gardens. |We had a traditional Japanese room which was very comfortable. The hostel itself is a bit rough around the edges, the walls are thin and it could do with a lick of paint, it's a refurbished building so noise travels quite easily through the structure. The kitchen is quite dark. Would really benefit from free tea and coffee. |This hostel is good for a few days on a budget.

Cozy Cafe/bar + Hostel experience. With a free welcome drink, it's great for a one night stay while also getting to know the locals. Very friendly, very tidy. Do note that walls are very thin - noise can be heard easily (they provide free earplugs)

Quiet and simple, other guests were very respectful. The ambiance of the lobby, chill|Music with the welcome drink was perfect. Friendly staff. And good food as well. What else could we ask for? Ho good WiFi, clean bathroom and washing machine for your laundry? Yes they got that too

Check in was difficult and overly expensive and was given a lot of miss information wasting my day which was supposed to be spent in the city. Find a different place this is the worst hostel I’ve stayed at.

We visited Okayama mainly to take the ferry down from Uno for a day trip to Naoshima Island. The hostel was great as they let us drop our bags off early and we received a complementary sake from the bar downstairs.||The hostel was clean and in a good location, just 5-10 minute walk from Okayama train station and also close to places to eat cheaply.||We stayed in a double, Japanese style room which meant sleeping on the tatami mats on the floor. It was very comfortable.||My only criticism is that the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that's going on in the other bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. So there's not much chance of an early night or sleeping in if no one else in the hostel has the same idea.||Other than that it was great!

(+) Good enough for a quick stay. Friendly staff. Quite easy to locate as it's near the station. Clean, with 4 toilets and 2 shower rooms. Very safe as door is automated and password-protected. Price is okay. (-) Terrible sound proofing. Walls seemed to be made of plywood. The softest rustling of plastic or paper bag woke me up every time another guest would come in (even though they're in the other rooms).
