Kamphaeng Ngam Hotel

Perfect stay! The room was big, clean and beautiful. The beds were comfy. The free breakfast offers a lot of choices and was great. The pool and the shared spaces were great. The location was nice with all the shops and restaurants nearby. Everything was great!

Great place near the city center and next to a beautiful night market. The Room is nice and clean. They have shampoo and towels for the guest ready in the rooms. A nice little pool to cool down from the heat. The breakfast is not the best but definitely sufficient.

Great place and really nice little pool as well as a lovely room. But we paid for two nights upfront and asked for breakfast to be removed so it could be cheaper, this was no problem on the day but when we went to check out on the second day they don’t us we still needed to pay for the second day still? Even though we asked upfront to pay for two days and were told the price of two days without breakfast was 890, but they decided to try and slip us a 590 bill for the next day 😂 I obviously didn’t pay it because the staff member said the price on the day was 890 but it still felt abit slimey to ask for an extra 590. So just be careful on checkout

Super close to the centre of town yet far enough to be quiet. This was my second stay and just as the first time, staff were really helpful and friendly. Initially had an issue with the room I was in which was very quickly sorted out. I’ll definitely be staying the next time I’m in Chiang Mai. Thank you for an awesome stay

Avoid this hotel. Advertising pictures deceiving, it’s run down & in need of an overhaul. ||||No bar but a fridge where you can buy tins.||||Pool very cold doesn’t get enough sun, only 2 beds in sun & 2 beds in shade no room for anymore. Pool is all shallow depth needs sign, not very clean.||||Room ok but thin topper on a hard bed. Windows didn’t lock properly leaving gaps. Despite using nuclear mosquito repellent I was eaten alive nightly. Moved out & did get 1 nights refund not full amount. Shower tiling cracked & dirty with insects running around base. No shower mat very slippery floor, wear flip flops in shower. Air con noisy & leaked badly, luckily had case closed or everything would have been soaked.||||Breakfast eggs, bit of salad, small slice ham, small hot dog sausage & some watermelon. Make your own toast which 1 staff tried counting amount you could have. Basic coffee machine, water & if your very lucky orange if staff can be bothered to bring round, don’t hold your breath.||||1 receptionist very very unhelpful. Info in room states only covered for 500bht in event of theft unless use front desk safe box, yet when we asked told no wrong. Even got the laminated sheet to show & still told no then changed to just give me & I put in safe with everything else-NO WAY. Another when paid to stay didn’t want to give receipt, had to phone someone when we insisted as not happy with “it’s ok you paid me” yeah right that old chestnut. Head receptionist very nice & helpful.||||Very happy to have left much nicer hotels available & where you don’t get eaten nightly by mosquitoes!!!!!!

Stayed in this hotel for one week. Location was very good as it is located in a quiet side street within a 5 minute walking distance to Tha Phae Gate, the old town and busy Loi Kroh road. Continental breakfast with toast, fruit, sausages, egg and coffee was included. Rooms were cosy and clean. I agree with some other reviewers that overall the hotel looks better and more boutique on the pictures than it is in reality, but you get good value for the money. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back.

Very odd having to clean my own room but there was just dust everywhere. The room had a balcony and the seating for the balcony was also covered in dust. The shower in the room was constantly leaking resulting in a moldy smell in the room. The air conditioner was really noisy no matter what setting I put it on. The only good things are that it is very close to the night market and it has a pool.

Nice boutique hotel interesting Thai architecture. Staff very friendly and helpful. I left my travel pillow there and the staff found it for me two days later. Thanks for everything! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
