Good concept badly let down by poor execution. Sunday brunch is served from 6 kiosks on the ground floor of the museum (entrance from the kanal). You sit outside by the Kanal or inside in table settings from 2-10 people. We had reserved on-line, but found it meaningless since it is a free-for-all setup. We found the inside space too cold, noisy and flatly lit. Despite attempts to create ambiance, it feels like you are pick-nicking in garage with greasy food to match. Prices are low, but the quality is very hit and miss. You pay a flat fee of €14, in advance, for one each of bread, croissant, juice and then add extras such as eggs €4 or coffee €3 etc. This 1930s building is a novelty destination and rather interesting, but you will be better off at eating at a motorway truck stop rather than here.
