My partner and I have had a tremendous stay at the Lodge and will return when we visit the area again. From the customer service before available to the service throughout our stay, I’d rank it as one of our favorite places globally. Our room was spectacular, and the food at all restaurants has been very good. The staff have been incredibly helpful and friendly and have remembered things like us being dairy and gluten free. The concierge support has been so amazing, and Barbara has contacted me several times to ensure the stay has been great.|For context, we don’t have young kids, so the water park reno wasn’t an issue. In our opinion, the lodge is a vacation within itself. We have hiked the area, covering over 23 miles, and the Lodge has been a fabulous base to return to. |I highly recommend the lodge!

Our stay at Kananaskis Mountain Lodge was nothing short of amazing. Nestled in the beautiful Canadian Rockies, the lodge offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly relaxing – the ideal retreat after a day of exploring. What truly sets this place apart is the service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Special thanks to the team for making our stay so effortless and enjoyable. From check-in to checkout, everything was seamless. The amenities are top-notch – from the cozy lobby lounge and fantastic dining options to the stunning Kananaskis Nordic Spa right on site. It’s everything you could ask for in a mountain getaway. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming about our next visit!

This hotel is really nice. Unfortunately for the price of the rooms, it doesn't quite reach the cost. The Nordic Spa is great, golf course is nice, but everything is just so costly. The food, specifically breakfast was absolutely incredible, but for everything else, it's just an average upper end hotel.

We just returned from an absolutely fantastic weekend at the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. Our room was a beautiful suite with a wood burning fireplace, two big comfortable beds, two great bathrooms and even a balcony. The staff were kind and courteous and worked very hard. They were polite and helpful, even with all our food allergies. We ate at 4 different restaurants during our stay and they were all fantastic. The bistro was my favourite with its delicious tuna poke bowl that was one of the best I have ever had! I have been telling everyone that the lodge was such a special place because it was beautifully decorated down to the last detail (a little pinecone for the spa locker handle), the service was exceptional and the food and drinks were outstanding, but it was not pretentious in the least. I felt completely comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt playing Scrabble in the lobby and then heading over to the bar from appetizers and drinks. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from the craziness of life for a few relaxing days.

We stayed her last week with my boyfriend. Give us a room on the main floor. Just facing the parking lot infront of the building. Not a mountain view that i expected. We want to try the pool but it’s under renovation. At around 12 midnight there is water outage. And early morning when i use the washroom. Water coming out is so dirty.

This is such a peaceful and scenic spot—perfect for nature lovers. We loved exploring the walking trails and cross-country skiing right from the property. Our room was clean, cozy, and a welcome place to unwind. The food and lattes were absolutely top notch—nourishing and delicious. The only downsides were some hallway noise and missing out on the Nordic Spa, as we didn’t realize it needed to be prebooked. For $500/night, clearer communication around that would’ve made a big difference. Still, a beautiful and restorative getaway overall.

We just returned from a weekend stay at the Pomeroy with mixed feelings. ||We have been coming here as a couple and now as family for years. Sadly, the quality of the rooms and pool facilities have deteriorated significantly, while the price has been steadily increasing. Our last two stays we were in sad, dingy, dark and worn out rooms. The beds in our room this weekend were atrocious- both mattresses were visibly concave - I am talking the springs were collapsed at the bottom of both beds. The front desk said the only other room available was looking over the parking lot. The accommodations are beyond disappointing for the price. The hvac is loud, pipes are squeaky, you can hear your neighbours talk. ||The hotel is renovating the pool this month which is great as it needs it. The new outdoor pool is great. ||The staff at all restaurants is lovely, we had great, although expensive, meals over the weekend. There are lots of fun kid activities and all the staff running them is wonderful. The yoga class led by Victoria was peaceful, relaxing and retrospective. ||We might try the new building, Black Diamond Experience, when it opens. But the main lodge rooms are just not worth the price.

We came to this hotel with our kids expecting a relaxing family getaway, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. First and most frustrating — the pool was out of service, with no prior notice. That was one of the main reasons we chose this place, and with young children, it was a big deal. The stay was very expensive for what was offered — and honestly, what was offered felt like the bare minimum. The staff was extremely slow to respond to requests, from check-in to housekeeping, and customer service was poor across the board. Definitely not worth the price or the hassle. If you’re traveling with kids and expecting amenities and decent service, look elsewhere.

Yelp
This was my first time! Actually I'm surprised that I have never even thought about staying there but the Nordic Spa which was on the list, was a big factor for our short trip. The place couldn't be more Christmasy!!! It was like Christmas cards! It was well decorated and designed and I enjoyed just walking around and hanging out in different areas! There were a lot of games around and we played some games too which was fun! I usually don't like places that have lots of kids and this lodge was filled with kids, running around and playing but it didn't bother me. Maybe because it was Christmas! :) The customer service was great! They were efficient and helpful. The rooms were clean, nice and decorated nicely to keep the same vibe! The restaurant, bar and coffee shop were all great with great quality food and drinks and very consistent with the lodge. In general, I enjoyed my stay and I'll definitely go back there again and I highly recommend this place! Do yourself a favour and try it! :)

Yelp
Beautiful Marriott with lots of trails, buildings, large spa, shops and restaurants. 18 hole golf course, Tennis and Pickleball facilities. The trails & flowers are impeccable and beautiful.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this lodge. Location is perfect, the restaurants are perfect. The rooms are very bad... I would understand if they charged 300 per night, but at 600+ per night, I expect much higher quality rooms.

Yelp
This place had nice ambiance, really nice decor and the rooms were nice and clean. The only thing I would have to say is that their hot tub area was just meh! Too many kids and the water temperature was cold for outside temps around 50ish. They had a posh spa area but you had to pay extra service to get inside and make reservations which we thought originally was open to the public. Everyone was nice and pleasant and very expensive to stay there. We used my daughter's points to stay there. Would I come back maybe, but would look somewhere else first before booking.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay here for a conference, particularly due to the outstanding gym and Nordic spa. I stayed for 4 nights, and it was very comfortable and pleasant. The hotel was a little busy and loud, primarily due to the large number of families with small children on vacation. But otherwise, it was very pleasant and fun. Obviously, the highlight is the location with beautiful views and ample hiking opportunities. The highlight was the Nordic spa. I had attended the Nordik in Ottawa-Gatineau multiple times and really enjoy the experience. This one isn't as large, but it was plenty for me. It was well worth the time and money, and I had a phenomenal massage to end my night. The gym was also quite good (important to me). A few more weight training machines and bigger space would have been nice, but it was very functional. However, they need to enforce their age limits - there were too many children using the gym, which felt unsafe and made it loud at times. Overall, I would recommend staying here for business travellers!

Yelp
We had a great weekend here! My husband I got away for the weekend and were thrilled at our room and the accommodations. Our bed and pillows were really comfy! I love the lay out of the lodge and village. Everything you need in one place. We ate at several restaurants, went to the spa and walked. We had a beautiful weekend. Check in/out was easy. We're Marriot members and it was super smooth. I feel it's a five star resort except that we could hear EVERYTHING in the hallways. That was surprising.

Yelp
Cancellation Policy: called the morning of our reservation to re-book because of snow storm but was told we would be charged the whole amount if we didn't show up (500$). As a result, we had to leave later in the afternoon (after the storm) which eliminated all day activities we had wanted to do at the lodge. Room: Even though it was a Sunday night, we were given a room not facing the mountain view and not on upper floor as requested. They said upper floor includes second floor and we were not aware of having to request a mountain view. The bathroom fan didn't work and the tub drain was very sluggish and difficult to keep open. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Restaurants: The lounge served us an 18$ Salted Caramel Espresso Martini in a small wine glass without garnish. No cocktail napkin, complimentary snack or table decor (very much cafeteria style). See photo. We didn't complain and tipped anyway but asked why they didn't use a martini glass and we were told that they break too easily so they use wine glasses. For the evening meal, we had an appetizer of calamari 22$, which was a large bowl partially filled with tiny rings and bits of calamari (rings were as small as a finger ring). The Chardonnay, Tuscan salad and chickpea panisse were very good. The breakfast buffet was stale; hard-edged pancakes, rubbery tater tots, hard English muffin with egg bennie's and soft cheese had a hard crust. I would recommend ordering a la carte, it may be fresher. The coffee and croissant were good, as was the service. Staff are top notch, they were attentive and professional but the owners need to step up their game and have more quality control in all areas. This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star pricing.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this lodge. It is owned by the Marriot and it is lovely. They have so many rustic details that add to the feel of being in the mountains! Like their check in room keys are made of wood??? How clever!!! They have a gorgeous Nordic spa area that I am looking forward to try during my time here. They are very friendly, there's many break out areas in the lobby where they have games for families and children to play. The drinks at the bar are well made. They even offer free s'mores from 6-9 daily! With awesome fire sticks for roasting marshmallows!! I am staying at the lodge for a work trip but I am hoping to visit again being that the lodge is close to a few ski areas that I would love to try one day. Do I have you convinced to come here?? Well, let me mention that they are also pet friendly in all rooms! With a $40 1 time fee for a cleaning fee for pets.

Yelp
What a hidden gem in the Canadian Rockies! We stayed at this gorgeous property for a few nights during a recent trip primarily to visit Banff. Most of you may already know that staying in Banff itself can get very pricey! Even the neighboring town of Canmore can get up there during peak season, which happened to be when were here (August). My husband and I were lucky enough to learn about Kananaskis Mountain Lodge from the Marriott website when I started doing some research for our trip several months before. The pictures online and the great rate I found sold us on giving this place a try, and we didn't mind the 50-minute drive from downtown Banff (which for the record is extremely scenic and worth it!). This property is everything you would imagine a mountain lodge to be and better! Combining beautiful, natural surroundings and that rustic, mountain atmosphere, with luxury and lots of classy yet modern touches. It's absolutely incredible how they manage to combine these seemingly opposite themes, but somehow it all works! We felt spoiled here, and every employee we spoke with was so personable and welcoming! If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend the rooms with the loft (I believe they are called Crystal Rooms). Lots of space, big floor to ceiling windows to take in the mountain views, and even a fireplace for the cold months (and we all know it gets crazy cold in these parts!). A huge thank you to Maradona, the gentleman at the front desk whose accent I loved! He was so gracious when we sadly had to check out of our room. Wonderful customer service from him, as well as John Luke (Bellman) and Rosalie (server at the bar). Even the music they played in the bar and also in the coffee shop in the mornings was solid! They really pay attention to every little detail to make their guests feel good, relaxed and happy. Tip: Don't miss their Kananaskis Nordic Spa! Separate review for that on their Yelp page. Also, explore the trails in the back of the property. You get more stunning views for a daily run, walk or bike ride, right in their "backyard!"

Yelp
I had the a fantastic stay at this lodge in the super obscure Kananaskis country. We were here for 4 nights and although most of our time was spent out in Banff, we loved coming back here. First of all, this lodge is about an hour away from Banff. Besides that, you have everything you need here. Many restaurants, bars, laundry, water slide, hot tub, and a Nordic spa. You can hike around the lodge with the maps given to you when you check in. Free parking. Super friendly peeps. Rooms were clean. Air conditioner worked great. Apparently, they have recently remodeled. Fridge in room. Elevators were fast. Shower pressure was decent. Oh! And they have laundry for $2 CAD. Ask the front desk for detergent and dryer sheets. Some cons? -No microwave but you can call room service to heat up your food. - No swimming pool. Biggest bummer. -Hot tub was super hot. Unusually hot. People were screaming and could barely toe tap into it. They had s'mores night which was a nice touch. Heat up your marshmallows by the outdoor fireplace and they give you the rest of the supplies to make a smore. Easy online check out. Free WiFi which worked really well. Loved our stay here and would definitely return.

Yelp
I came for the Kananaskis Nordic Spa. I came on a Wednesday to Thursday. It was nice because we were the only ones here. When booking my hotel room however, j was asked if there was a special occasion. I said yes that it was for a 3 generations Mother's Day trip. I was promised chocolates and wine for when I arrived on my hotel room and they did not fulfil those promises. That was disappointing.

Yelp
Blood stained mattress cover, not my blood. We slept on it the first night. I exposed it to room service and the bed was made over again, with the blood stained mattress cover still there, still bloody. One restaurant open to dine, one hour wait for each meal. Reason giving: sorry, we only have 2 servers. To access the artic spa, is $90 bucks or use the hotel hot tub, which is attached to the kiddy pool. Dirty and bandaids floating. The best part of the kananaskis mountain lodge is the front door to the lobby. My room had Crusty carpets, mold mildew, water stains, blood stains broken light fixtures. Huge amount of children screaming throughout the hallways with lack of supervision. I made contact with management and he stated they would have the cleaning staff re educated on the carelessness of the cleanliness. I was offered two day stay when i was there four days, then i was offered 4 days with an upgraded room. I explained that i had no wish to return. Then i was offered my money back. We'll see.. the management really feels confident that they're doing me a favor returning my money. Its all fools gold at this point. The worst place to spend copious amounts of money on boarderline outdated rooms.

Yelp
A true winter oasis in the middle of the wilderness! I stayed there during a work trip and it was had everything I needed and then some. First off I was pleased it was a Marriott property, a member of their Autograph collection of hotels. The property looked newly renovated and is a true resort with a Spa, multiple dining venues, and rooms spread out across a few buildings, campus style. I stayed in a huge 1 bedroom suite, with a separate living room and a huge bedroom featuring a giant bathtub in the corner. Due to some HVAC issues space heaters were provided to keep the place warm but personally I was fine without them. Because I was on an extended trip I was happy to see there was a coin-operated laundry on the premises. There are quite a few dining venues to choose from, which is great since the lodge is pretty much the only game in town for food. I loved the Pasta at Forte and the snacks at the Blacktail lobby bar. When it came to nightlife my party and I enjoyed drinks and games at Woody's Pub, located in the neighboring building. While I didn't have a chance to enjoy the Spa it came highly recommended by everyone I talked to in Banff. I did take advantage of the fitness center and saw the indoor pool, complete with water slide! Overall the lodge a perfect place to stay if you find yourself in Kananaskis.

Yelp
This is a lovely accommodation in the heart of Kananaskis Country. Located right next door to Nakiska Ski Resort. We have stayed here three times and always been satisfied. The staff are friendly and responsive to issues, quickly helping to resolve. The first room we stayed at was in the Mount Kidd building, it was a king loft room. The room did not have an A/C unit and got awfully hot at night. The staff were nice and moved us to a different room in the renovated section of the hotel. The hotel offers nice conference spaces for events and caters food.

Yelp
Just stayed here for the first time and it definitely won't be our last! They were very strict with Covid protocol which we totally appreciated. They limited people, were always cleaning, had to book to go to the pool, had sanitizer stations, etc. Felt quite safe. The property is magnificent. Such amazing trails. We were travelling with a dog and a 6 month old. They have paved trails which was amazing for the stroller. There's also access to more difficult ones if you'd like to hike. They also have basketball, tennis, hot/cold pools (with three slides), a Nordic spa (we didn't go!) and more. They had two restaurants and a cafe open. The food was great (not cheap). A couple of things that brought it down to 4 stars are the pet fee. It's the highest I have ever paid ($40/night). I totally agree that pet fees should be given but if it is a higher one, usually hotels have a welcome package or something. They did have doggy bag holders. They also sent me the rules and contract for having a dog there at 6:30pm the night before we left. The room didn't have a microwave which sucked for heating up baby food or leftovers (we couldn't). I always figure that a microwave is standard fair. Also, the door to the bathroom closed with friction, not a latch. It was noisy opening the door with a baby in the room! If you don't have sleepers who wake up easily, it wouldn't be an issue for you. Lastly, all the staff were amazing... except our last day. The person working up front, not sure if she/he was having a bad day, but they were super rude. She/He was short, not helpful and honestly, just seemed angry when I was asking questions about checking out. This was not the standard with the rest of the staff but it was the last impression before leaving. I love how this resort was inclusive - had everything you needed! It's not close to much else so if you're looking for city walks, this isn't it. The views were amazing which is what we were wanting. They are close to so many trails but a 40 minute drive to Canmore if you'd like to walk around a town. The pools were absolutely incredible. With Covid, it was my daughter's first experience in a hot tub which was fun. We will definitely be back to stay again!!

Yelp
As someone with Marriott Platinum status, we had an amazing experience at the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. We picked this place because I could use points to stay, even though it is inconveniently an hour outside of Banff. We were surprised with a gift in our suite because we were celebrating our anniversary. The suite we were given was beautiful, with the sunrise through the trees greeting us every morning. With my status we get free breakfast, so we were able to try both the restaurant and the market cafe. The restaurant breakfast was ok - I'm not a huge breakfast person, but they had the standards eggs, omlettes, and pastries you might find at other Marriott properties. The market cafe on the other hand - EXCELLENT! With our breakfast vouchers we got $50 in credit at the store, so we were able to buy breakfast, coffee, and snacks for our hike later in the day. Market all the way!! We didn't spend too much time at the hotel because we were busy seeing Banff, but the trail and other amenities looked nice. When we come back to the area, we will definitely be staying here again.

Yelp
This place has no heat or air conditioning currently in any room. It is not mentioned when you book but when you check in. Normal places advise you of these things (pool maintenance, parking issues etc) This is an ongoing issue (see reviews from ad early as Feb of this year. They did provide space heaters which unfortunately are not adequate for 2 floor loft rooms. P We showed up at 3pm to check in and room was not ready. Was told by front desk staff they would call once room is ready. When we didn't get a call by 10:30pm we returned to the hotel. Desk agent said she personally tried to call be but got a wrong number. Asked her to call again and guess what? My cell phone rang. Then she said she may have dialed the wrong number. Wouldn't you double check the number for an error if that was the case? Being Titanium Elite I spend on average 80 nights a year at Marriott properties, from 5 star Ritz Carltons to Courtyards. This place probably ranks at the bottom. From the lack of responsibility taken by management to ineptitude of front desk staff I'm not sure how this place can be called a Marriott property. Basic things like HEATING at a mountain resort should be provided or at least disclosed to potential suckers...um I mean guests. Maybe they need to fire people like Stephen who just offer lip service with no real results. Take a look at all the one star reviews and they all have the same issues. I wouldn't have issue if the heating situation was mentioned on their website before I booked so I could decide for myself if we would choose this hotel. The fact that it was only mentioned at checkin is underhanded and sneaky.

Yelp
Lodge is pretty good as a facility. Location is little far from Banff and other tourist spots. Being only Marriott it is pretty pricy. Restaurant and in general staff is pretty good. However, i have issue with room. Their AC system doesn't work and funny part is ac technician says he doesn't know how to fix. He advised us to open windows instead ac . They change room but that room has other problems. They moved my room at 2 am and no help in moving room. Manager tried to give $100 off but that was not enough compared to hard time we had for 5 days.

Yelp
Best Hideaway in Kananaskis! We were treated like royalty from the moment we checked in through checkout. The staff was absolutely amazing and made our 10th anniversary the most memorable yet! All the staff including, Katie, Dom, Kovah, Heather, Dale, and especially Eric (with concierge) made the entire experience wonderful! Eric recommended all the perfect experiences and places! Of all the activities he suggested in our week long stay, walking out with a cup of hot cocoa to watch the sunrise at Viewpoint 2 was absolutely magical! He certainly knows all the hidden gems of Kananaskis and the must-dos while visiting. He is truly an asset to the resort and helpful to making your time there absolutely perfect! The lodge is clean, updated, and filled with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The food and drinks are delicious! We hope to make this our anniversary hideaway every year.

Yelp
I love spas and this one is amazing! I love the decor. The plaid robes. They have an area for drinks and food. It's clean and new! Steam rooms actually smell of eucalyptus oil. Great Mountain View's. Just make sure if you are using your coverage that your out of province insurance pays one of the three associations of massage therapists. I got dinged but the spa was gracious and made it up to me due to the miscommunication and confusion. Would definitely go again!

Yelp
We stayed for four days at this hotel. We saved the $12.50 a day for valet/downstairs parking and just parked in the public parking section without any issues. It also made it easier for us because we were leaving around 4am-5am every morning. We were obsessed with the Blacktail Bar (in the hotel/lounge), Meghan/Megan & Beau were fabulous, friendly, made delicious drinks and held great conversation (the homemade chips were amazing, as well!) We went to the market in the mornings to snag a latte and bagel, which the coffee at the Market was waaayy better than the village and we enjoyed dinner at the bar along with the Forte Restaurant- the bread and the pasta. The room didn't have AC, although the rest of the hotel (halls, downstairs, restaurant, and lounging areas) did. A fan was provided (hidden in the closet) was an AWESOME touch and much appreciated. In the evenings around 7/7:30pm, family entertainment was provided, along with s'mores.

Yelp
2 or maybe 3 stars? A couple friends and I went for a little ladies trip for the Spa next door and were a little let down with accommodations. We've been a few times and this time was mediocre at best. Tried to get an early check in that wasn't available, understandable. Asked if they could hold our luggage until the room was ready so we could go to the spa. Got a super unclear answer that left us walking away deciding to leave it in the vehicle. Not the end of the world. We checked in after the spa and slowly started noticing our surroundings. Turned the light on above the table to see the whole shade had loads of dead bugs in it. Kind of gross but livable. Ignoring the bugs we continued on with getting ready and making some drinks. We had grabbed ice for some fancy mixed drinks, made a pitcher of them to realize the ice is made from what we assumed is rank well water. They were destroyed and undrinkable. We could have swore that the previous times we got the lofts that there was fireplace. Either way there wasn't one. All wanting some space to sleep we called down for some bedding on the fold out couch. About 2 hours later and after two calls we finally got it at almost 11pm if I remember correctly. Once upstairs and ready for bed we shut off the big fan to notice it was so caked with dust it was almost white. Noticing all the small things that weren't done left us thinking about all the other corners that are cut on a hotel that is supposed to be pretty top of the line. The next morning we checked out and noticed that the bill we got was different the we paid for on Expedia. Called to see why and they said that they over charged us with an old rate. Not sure what would have happened if we hadn't of called. They said they'd send an apology email. Haven't received it yet, but that was only this morning. With all that a good portion of the staff are nice. The front door men were sure to greet us and ask if we needed help. All the other staff in the hotel we spoke to were helpful. I do wish that the hotel and spa were a bit more seem less. Not being able to wear the robe back to our loft when showering there wasn't available was a bit frustrating. But that will be mentioned in the spa review.

Yelp
Spent the weekend at the Pomeroy and had the pleasure of using the renovated Nordic Spa. 5 stars for the experience of hot, cold pools along with sauna and steam. Well done! The resort was impressive but lacked certain details for the price point. Restaurant and coffee bar namely lacked quality. Banff Springs is certainly the premiere benchmark but am grateful to have something rustic and close to Calgary.

Yelp
My husband and stayed here during our honeymoon and absolutely LOVED it. It takes awhile to get to once you exit Highway 1, and it's super fun to drive to in a blizzard, but it's so worth it. The staff is incredible, the rooms are impeccable, and the restaurants are good. We went to the spa and had a wonderful experience there. The only downfall is the closest town with more reasonable restaurants is 30 minutes away. I found the food options onsite to be a tad steep for what you pay as is.

Yelp
Good nice staffs, nice gym and spa area, nice large room, food is extra expensive, AC is super loud, no fitted sheets which is very strange for a room of this caliber which is kind of strange, tea selection is cheap, every flavor tasted like lemon grass.

Yelp
We had an overall great time here. The place is pretty clean and inviting. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The lodge is surrounded by mountains and it's actually kind of nice to be away from the touristy hub of banff and the other local attractions. We got upgraded to a lofted room which was basically like our own mini townhouse without a kitchen. It had a fireplace and complimentary materials to start our own fire. It was very cute. The breakfast spread here is very large but filled with the usuals - eggs, potatoes, various meats, cheeses, pastries, and fruit. I say "the usuals" because I travel a lot and I've seen a lot of Marriott property breakfast spreads and while this one is very large, it's the same types of foods minus the bean chili which is offered on the buffet. I think the pancakes were my favorite. I tried a couple fresh made omelette but that experience left something to be desired. The little cafe and the shop in this lodge have very cute items for sale. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Yelp
We have been coming here for the past 4 years at Christmas and have loved it. But this past year was very disappointing and the service was not there. First house keeping accidentally took all the families bathing suits and they were sent to Calgary with their laundry service and we couldn't use their pool. After they found it they expected us to pay for the shipping for us to get it back. Then after calling room service for food for my father in-law who just had surgery and couldn't walk they said they didn't deliver food to a low immenity room. First of all when we pay over $300 per night you should be able to order room service period. We also booked a diner reservation and was confirmed twice by the concierge then to show up and they turned us away saying they had no room and don't take reservations. The events for the kids sorry the event for the kids was disappointing. If your planning on spending 1500-2000$ on a family vacation For 3 days like we did I'd try somewhere else we will not be going back there again so sad.

Yelp
We are Marriott platinum members. We booked our rooms 2 months in advance. This hotel screwed up every part of our entire reservation. They had the date wrong. When we corrected that and showed up on the right day, the room wasn't ready. Then they showed us to our room which was different than the one we had booked, and said the one we booked- although confirmed the day before- wasn't available. Then they screwed up our room service order. It was one thing after another for the entire weekend and they never apologized or offered to compensate us for our troubles in any way. I would have expected this from a 2 star hotel- this place was a joke. Also! No Netflix, no pay per view- crappy cable only. Will NEVER go back!!

Yelp
My family and I stayed here for two night (Aug 8-10) and we will never be back! We booked a large room that had three beds (2 queen and 1 king), This ran us about 700.00 PER night, which was OK. Its our vacation out of the city. Plus we figured we would get a great experience out of it, instead we are now not recommending this place to anyone. When we first arrived we were told that the air conditioner was not working in the room due to the work being done on the building, But they had placed a fan in the room for us to use. With the room size, the fan did very little. We were also told that we can open a window if we got too over heated. Well due to the BC fires, as soon as we opened a window our room filled with the smell of smoke. Note that we were there during the hottest time of the year, with daily heat warnings. The service was a hit and miss. My kids would even make a comment to us about if we will get a nice employee this time or a nasty one. I would have to say it was 50/50. When we first arrived in our room, I found an empty beer can in the dresser drawer, which was clearly there for a while. After our first night we left our room to go find some breakfast; Giving the cleaning staff time to do our room. Throughout the day we kept checking back to see if it was done. Around 3:00pm, I seen a staff member in the hallway outside our room. I asked her if she could tell me when our room will be cleaned. She could not but said she will look into it for us and get back to me. We never heard back. But before she left she did say hot it was... Around 4:30 I asked the cleaning staff that just finished the room RIGHT NEXT DOOR to ours if our room is next. I got the answer of "I don't know its not in my area". Up to this point, I was being nice and friendly, but I was getting upset. We went downstairs to the front desk and I seen a lady who looked like she may be a manager. I told her what was going on. I never got an apology. Instead she was rude and just simply said I'll look into it. Finally around 5:30pm our room was cleaned, but the beer can was still there... They also say that they have great internet. This is not true. Everything was way over priced. For a family of 4 each meal on the resort would cost anywhere between 120.00 to 220.00. Which again if the staff were nice and attentive this wouldn't have been a huge issue. For that kind of money you would think they would have the rooms cleaned properly in a timely manner, and friendly helpful staff. This was a huge disappointment.

Yelp
While the scenery is remarkable and the golf amazing the lodge was disappointing. The young men at the door were thoughtful and helpful but things went down hill quickly in terms of any form of customer service. Hot tub was cold. Room was hot as the air conditioner was not working. Pool area was unkempt and the sauna broken. We got the usual "sorry about that" and left unlikely to return again. Very high rates for a less than mediocre experience.
