Although we made an early reservation, there were still plenty of open tables until 7 PM. The restaurant offers all the basic services, and the dishes were served promptly. The three of us ordered four dishes, which were enough to fill us up.
The salmon tataki was impressively seasoned--the yuzu salsa and balsamic glaze added a unique aroma. Recommended.
The rib tower felt more like style over substance. The thick sauce resembled traditional Korean fried chicken glaze--it was overwhelming after a few bites. The meat itself was tender but mot crispy. Unremarkable.
As for the signature dish OCTO steak, if I disregard the almost forgettable steak and focus only on the octopus, mashed potatoes, and seasoning, I'd say it was the best dish of the night. The octopus was crispy on the outside and tender inside, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the slightly sweet mashed potatoes. Highly recommended.
The beef pasta, however, lacked cohesion--the ingredients felt separate rather than harmonized. Not recommended.
