Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel

This is a good hotel in an excellent location. It's in central Kanazawa so when you walk out of the hotel you'll find yourself in the midst of all the action. It really feels like you're in Japan. On the street, the sights and sounds are amazing and there is some interesting nightlife! The hotel itself is good with average sized rooms, a good shower and comfortable beds. Breakfast is the usual Japanese-Western buffet affair, so nothing special. Staff speak good English and are always helpful. Recommended.

We enjoyed two nights at this hotel as it provided lots of pampering and comfort. The central location is excellent for dining options and access to tourist attractions. The breakfasts were bountiful and delicious and the attached boutique shopping mall had a wonderful selection of fashion items that my partner enjoyed obtaining.

Great location easily walkable to the castle, garden, malls, supermarket with great restaurants nearby. Super conveniently located and the staff were also very helpful and friendly. Lovely cafe great for coworking at the lobby as well. Residengial Rooms are with washing machine and microwave which is a great plus point!

This hotel is in the perfect location; a short bus or taxi ride from the station. The room was clean and modern and provided the biggest bed I have slept in! The staff were great and super helpful! The breakfast was good but very busy due to a public holiday. The amazing gardens are a 10 minute walk.

This hotel is nicely situated in this nice town close to the well-preserved samurai quarter. The room was large and well-furnished and had an extremely wide bed. The width was greater than the length! Unfortunately, it was pretty hard, and the pillow felt like they were stuffed with rice groats. Another thing that was not so impressively is the lack of separate shower. I real dislike to be forced to shower in a bathtub. The breakfast had a very nice facility and that was an omelette cook. This is something I really appreciate. The bread was not that great so, was the lack of cheese and other nice toppings like real salami sausage.

Nicely appointed hotel except the air conditioner DOES NOT WORK! All thermostats are fake and do not control room temperature. Desk clerk says it’s now central heating and can’t change it. Suggested opening window but they won’t open! Finally offered us a fan. Very poor for a 4 star hotel! Everyone in our group of 32 encountered the same issues

The Kanazawa Tokyu hotel is a fantastic hotel to explore beautiful, historic Kanazawa with its convenient location, friendly staff and great food. Lots of lovely details in the design and look of the hotel, bring it’s Japanese style to life. From the elevators to the walls and carpet, it has style. The breakfast that we had in the conference room was tasty and varied. Western and Japanese cuisine are the options, with a omelette station as well and lots of drink options. The rooms are comfy and have everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. The shopping in the area is great and there is plenty of stores and restaurants nearby to check out and find all of the things that you might need. The Kanazawa train station is also not far away if you are continuing your Japanese adventure. All in all, a lovely place to stay in beautiful Kanazawa!

This hotel was booked for us through our tour company. It was excellent in every way. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Lovely rooms and public areas and a great location. Very nice breakfast. We also had access to the executive lounge that was lovely and quiet with very nice refreshments. I highly recommend the Kanazawa Tokyu.
