Kanchanaburi City Hotel

The hotel is five minutes walk from Kwai Bridge railway station and the infamous bridge itself (Saphan Kwae Yai). There are shops and facilities nearby including Goodway Restaurant floating on the river with a view of the bridge.||The hotel staff are friendly and helpful - they arranged a taxi for us to make a day trip into the mountains. The room was clean and comfortable overlooking the outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast was very good, though slightly limited in choice.

This is an excellent hotel, really good location near the bridge. Travelers should pay attention to staying in this area of the town. The breakfast was excellent everyday. The bed was very comfortable and the room facilities are very good. Nearby, that is down the road, away from the bridge on the same road there are many good eating and drinking facilities.Kanchanaburi is well worth visiting on a rail trip from bangkok. 2 days is best.

Perfect spot to stay for your trip to Kanchanaburi . Close to night markets, 7/11, tourist attractions, and ATMs . We stayed two nights there and felt safe and welcomed by friendly staff who helped us with everything we needed.

We really liked this hotel. It was clean, friendly and welcoming. The all female staff were responsive if we needed anything, in fact were at our door in minutes to help. They were always cleaning and polishing and even take care of the swimming pool which was great for doing laps. Good location very near the bridge, about 200m which was nice to walk to and take some nighttime photos all alone. Small uncovered parking in front of the hotel.

We loved this hotel! Close to the bridge and museum and many eateries . Pool was a nice touch as well as the breakfast . Clean and front desk very helpful. We got our laundry done and had a few speciality items that needed delicate and they obliged. We got the triple Japanese room . If you are ok with a hard thin mattress on top of wood, this is your place. Other rooms had mattresses. TV had a few English stations around 646. You can rent bikes , feed monks and most of the taxi colllective trucks are right in front of hotel. We had a car so you park behind the restaurant. Security at night.

This hotel finally had a soft bed. I have been to several hotels that might as well have had concrete beds! I don't care if some folks think it is a 3 star hotel. The rooms were super clean, the staff was friendly, helpful and very professional. They did laundry for a small fee and it was folded to perfection. There is plenty to do nearby and although you can't use Bolt, the taxis are pretty friendly and reasonable

First, location location location. Kwai river bridge and 7-11 just around the corner. It’s in a rather quiet block and this building itself looks like a neat and pretty city hall building. Love that ;) Then the people. The staff is super nice and sincere. There is not any no or hesitation of no when you ask for questions or requests. And cleanliness. No dust anyplace. Very nice hotel that I have ever stayed twice. I love the bicycle rental service to roam around the area near the hotel. I went to a cafe close to the hotel by bicycle for breakfast. If you are thinking of where to stay in Kanchanaburi, just choose here and do not waste your time for comparing hotel, instead think a nice plan in Kanchanaburi.
