The place was disappointing and far from what was advertised. To start, we had little hot water throughout our stay considering the high prices they charge. The entire property looks run-down—much worse than the photos suggest. The layout is also a confusing maze, making it difficult to navigate. I think it’s severely overpriced, especially considering nothing is included, and they surprise you with additional costs like yoga sessions. Even the massages are priced similarly to what you’d pay in Australia, which feels unreasonable.
The food was another letdown. It was served cold, lacked variety, and my wife suspects she got food poisoning from it. While they boast about the design being the work of a failed architect, it’s not particularly significant or impressive. There are a few nice older pieces and antiques around, but nothing special.
