This is a small topical restaurant in a secluded location in Jerusalem that is not easy to find. It serves exclusively Georgian cuisine so be prepared and better know in advance if you like it. The atmosphere and service are very down to earth and so are the dishes with simple but fulfilling recipes.

The cost seems excessive for a standard meal if it exceeds $150 for two people. Georgian wine priced at 50 NIS per bottle is being sold by the glass for 40 NIS. I wish you the best, however, I believe a price adjustment is necessary to better reflect market value.

Great food, great service and seems authentic! Our lamb stew Chakapuli may look like a small pot when it first served, but inside it’s full of chunks of meat! If the saltiness can reduce a bit it would be even more tasty! The Red Lobio is also delicious, spicy cold bean paste and it’s goes with the bread really well.

I recently dined at Kangaroo Georgian Restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Although the food was okay, I must say that the restaurant did not do justice to the classic Georgian dishes I ordered, namely the Khachapuri and Khinkali. The flavors were lackluster and failed to capture the authentic essence of Georgian cuisine. What added to my disappointment was the issue I encountered with the billing. Upon receiving the check, I noticed that I had been overcharged 51 shekels. I had to bring this error to the attention of the waitress, which was an inconvenience in itself. Additionally, the inclusion of service charges in the bill was perplexing, especially for a party of one. The imposed 12 percent service charge may be considered generous by Israeli standards, but the service I received was anything but deserving of such a fee. To make matters worse, the service was incredibly poor. I found myself waiting for an extended period of time both for the arrival of my food and when requesting the check. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive, showing no regard for their customers' time or satisfaction. Given my unpleasant experience, I have no intention of returning to this establishment, and I strongly advise against visiting Kangaroo Georgian Restaurant. The combination of lackluster food, an erroneous overcharge, and subpar service makes this place far from enjoyable. Save yourself the disappointment and explore other dining options that better represent the true flavors and hospitality of Georgian cuisine.

The place is very damaged. Pickled mushrooms - canned mushrooms from a can. It's good that at least the onion is fresh. The chicken is very dry, the prices are very high. Service is slow but the bill came quickly.

My suggestion if you have another options go to another place. The first and main dishes, were not so good. Shashlik, may be the most famous dish of Georgian food, was overcooked and from very tough meat. Another dish from the pork was just unchewable. The wine was ok. The place have a really high prices for what they offer. Be aware that the service will be included in bill. The service is just OK, no more. You can sit in and outside.
