We were happy with almost everything (location, check in/out process, WiFi, equipments, beds, linens, kangaroos, environment...) but our cabin.
Our cabin was infested with microbats. We started noticing noises on the roof in the late evening. At first, we thought they were birds or possums. We saw nothing on the roof but the noises continued.
It then became so obvious the noises came from the roof and wall cavities. We could hear them crawling, scratching, playing/fighting and squeaking. We thought they were mice. The wall of one bedroom had stains, possibly from urine. It was hard to sleep because of the noises and worry.
The next morning I contacted the manager and was told they were protected microbats and they would not enter the cabin.
I don't think it's fair to provide a cabin with microbats and charge a full price. After all, we went there to have a good sleep but the microbats took it away.
Nothing about microbats was mentioned during the whole booking process. I would have booked somewhere else if I knew it.
