Small shop, simple and cheap, but one of the best fried fish I've ever eaten in my life! Same thing for the french fries! My wife and I on vacation from Italy really enjoyed it during our time on the island. Advised!

Oysters are fresh and plump, fish and chips are all cooked well and the salt and pepper squid is so flavourful! Also the chips are great. So crispy and nicely salted.

Top 2 best grilled salmons I have ever had (second one was in Spain). The big garden salad I took was super fresh and tasty too. Extremely highly recommend this place!!!

The team was super friendly and attentive. They well exceeded above normal service and was quick and happy to address my dietary needs. Grilled salmon was amazing and great portion size. The grilled flake and calamari were pretty wow. Chips were fantastic. Get the chicken salt. The potato cakes were huge! We were all talking about what else might be good to get from here. A hamburger perhaps? Don’t let the fact that it’s attached to the petrol station put you off, this is the place to go for fish and chips in Kingscote.

A humbly decorated cafe attached to a gas station in the heart of Kingscote. Thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sea food (and the schnitzel and extra large burger, too). The family meal has a good mix of sea foods and can serve up to four people. Prices are very reasonable. Generous-sized portions. You can buy uncooked sea food, too.
