Kangaroo Island Seaview Motel

Absolutely fantastic. Priceless. Great Service. Excellent Rooms. The nicest I have stayed in for work, anywhere for a long time. I was in the ocean view room. Love beautiful decor and everything up to date with time. That bed was the most comfortable bed ever. Those pillows were fantastic, expensive brand. Came home to my own bed last night, and I was sad! Thank you, it put the cherry on top of being over on this beautiful Island. Love Kangaroo Island. See you again in 3 months or so.

From the moment we called to make an enquiry through to booking, check in and check out we could not fault this little gem of a motel. The 2 bedroom flat we stayed in was clean, well appointed and looks like its had recent cosmetic upgrade. The little kitchen was very well equipped. Staff were all very friendly, always greeting us with a friendly smile and providing great tourist advice. The location was excellent, close to the best little coffee shop, tidal pool and jetty. We have fallen in love with the island and are already making plans to return.

Great accommodation! Newly renovated and greatly styled! Really beautiful!! Clean. Great location directly at the ocean and easy walking distance to restaurants. Very friendly staff. A few more shelves / hooks would be helpful. Unfortunately even though we paid directly at reception the credit card got charged a second time. The hotel corrected it immediately even before we told them, however the international banking fees occurred - both for the wrong charge and the correction of it.

We stayed in the Ocean View Suite. It was quite spacious and clean. We enjoyed the great view and to be able to walk to town. Although, we didn’t cook, the kitchenette seamed well equipped. The bedrooms have a heating unit, however the common areas and bathroom were a bit cold, when we were there in May. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

What a find! This gorgeous mid-century modern motel could not have been better. Perfectly clean and comfortable, with lovely staff, lux beds, plenty of parking, great water pressure … not a single complaint. It’s across the road from the tidal pool with amazing ocean views. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Cute, romantic, retro. An absolute delight. 💚

Motel Location was good and close to everything. Stayed in garden view room- but the advertised photograph of the garden view was a little deceiving as its not very appealing and looks into the rear carport and street area. Generally room was nicely styled but the place is old and the construction quality and acoustics not great. The front awning and bathroom windows did not open and would have been good for air flow. One double bed had a good matress but the other old and poor Kitchenette was a little small and fridge freezer compartment was frosted over. Aircon unit was good and had a quiet operation. A little pricey for what you get.

We had a great time staying here. Excellent location, walking distance to shops restaurant and beautiful coastal walk right outside the motel. The room is spacious and I love their interior set ups and comfortable mattresses.

The room was clean and well equipped and in a great location. We loved that we could walk across the road to walk on the beach pathway, and that it was an easy stroll to the pubs, shops and other local attractions. It was amazing to see the seals lying by the jetty and swimming about in the clear water.
