Remember there is different sites of kanha. So make sure which side you are visiting Like- mukki, kanha, kisli, Best time to vist here is March April and try to book for core region and the booking is done 1 day before, dont just try your luck you will never get a ticket for the core region, in buffer zone there is huge dense forest and hardly you will se animal here because the population is very high at core region. Book your resort prior, and dont think you will reach at 12-1 at night and you will book your room instantly, this is not gona happen. There is on government resort which is very good neat and clean, and there is no restorant at near kanha only hotels and they have their own kitchen where outsiders are not allowed There is 2 dhabas some what 2-3 km from the kanha which is very good

Great place to come and watch wildlife....great for birding and of course Tigers. Its got 4 zones, if u r entering from khatia gate then take kanha zone in the morning and Kisli in the evening....this is my recommendation but sightings are pure luck

Beautiful forest, amongst the best in India, very well managed forest. Truly amazing. Saw 7 tigers, Bara Singa, deer, honey buzzard eagle, Indian roller, Indian Gaur, vultures and many more

Great place to visit the beauty of nature. Once you enter in the jungle you will forget about your city life. The fresh air in the jungle keep you energized all the day. Seeing Tiger there need luck, but you can see the footsteps of tigers around the jungle. You can see different types of deer, monkey and many other animals. Thrilled experience... This a place on top list for wildlife lover. The forest here is amazing, dense, beautiful and also feel the freshness here. There are so many specices but people come here mainly for Royal Bengal tiger. In season anyone can also find Indian bison, Hyenas, rare spices of birds and many more. It is reachable from Jabalpur, Raipur or Gondia by rail and road.during sight seeing he museum creates extra attraction to tourists. IMPORTANT - One should go these reserves to enjoy the nature and also respect it at the same time. Glance of tiger is upto luck. But do your kanha safari booking much in advance. GUIDE - They are very helpful and friendly. They all come one by one and sit in all the vehicles along the complete journey. TOTAL JOURNEY TIME - Could vary, ours was 4 hours in total, excluding break at refreshment point. 6:30AM - 11:30AM roughly. RULES - On asking certain questions to our friendly and jovial guide, I came to know that they hold the power to end the trip in case we violate the law of jungle by throwing garbage, making provoking sounds or getting down from Jeep in middle. Also they dont carry any weapons, so in case if someone have unfortunate encounter with Tiger, then all the rights rests with the Tiger King to decide your fate :D (Just Kidding) We were able to spot the majestic tiger called Junior Bajrang which made the journey success
