Although very well located near Casco Viejo, the access streets are dimly lit and feel abandoned making the entrance an uncomfortable experience.
The restaurant is a rooftop experience with open air terrace and a smaller indoor space which has an African theme/decor that is very basic.
The atmosphere is accompanied by a DJ who seemed to play a constant beat that was tiring after a while.
The menu was limited, but what we ordered was very tasty.
We had Ceviche, hot rock beef strips, rib eye and a white fish grilled with lemon sauce.
Unfortunately the fish was nicely charred on the outside but not sufficiently cooked on the inside.
We ordered Vodka and Soda and Paloma’s.
But received a margarita instead. Twice.
So we gave up trying to order a Paloma grapefruit juice and tequila).
We also ordered a desert which was never provided even though the server acknowledged our order. But it was not included in the final bill.
We dined from 8-11. At 8 the restaurant was quite empty but as we left around 11, the restaurant began to fill up - which surprised us as we were there on a Sunday night.
Bottom line - festive atmosphere but over priced for the food and service quality.
