Kanionet e Osumit

Booked a tour through Berat Backpackers Hostel for €50, it included the transport, lunch at a view point, a trip to a waterfall where you could swim and then the canyon tour itself which is great! The canyon itself if a great few hours.. but the hike back up at the end isn’t for the faint hearted!

Wow, what a spectacular canyon! The water was too low to raft so we did a hiking/floating tour with a guide and it was amazing. The towering walls, vibrantly blue water, and many waterfalls made for incredible views throughout. We were also the only people there the entire way. Definitely worth the trip; we booked through guest house bracaj!

Extremely beautiful in the morning. Lots of crowds after 10am once the buses from Berat arrive.

Beautiful serene view. Note that where this is shown on the map is in the middle of a section of gravel road with rocks and water channels that might be impossible for cars. You're better off taking the paved road on the other side of the river, parking, and hiking to this point. Also note that you can hike to here straight from the bridge on a trail near the water instead of walking along the gravel road.

This place is totally worth a visit! Best way is to go from Berat and back because the road is paved at all times and you can drive with your own car or a rental car. You can do a little hiking and take a walk or just visit the viewpoints. I really recommend going there!

Well worth the drive from Berat. We went after bogova waterfall. And we were slightly tired. But the sheer beauty of the Canyon reinvigorated us and we got our act together and quavered up the canyon withstanding the most breathtaking views. Definitely worth a visit.
