Super tasty Thai food! This place was recommended to me by a Thai friend and it did not disappoint. The first pad see ew I’ve had in Taiwan that tasted like pad see ew. Great food, pretty cheap, and service is fast!

The food is absolutely amazing. I ordered pad thai and it was the most authentic and affordable option I have found so far in Taipei. Because it is so good the line is long, so there is a bit of wait. My friends also ordered rice garlic pork rice and tomyum noodles which is also amazing. The prices are very affordable and the quality and portion you get is suited for the price. Very satisfied and would come back every single day if I could.

Everything was sweeter than I expected, this authentic Thai noodle restaurant won the 500 bowls award in 2024, so the taste was guaranteed. One thing I loved about Thai cuisine was the complexity in flavors, created by various herb and spices, lemon grass, coriander, and all the elements were there.

Nice Thai restaurant where it's possible to sit outside. Food is a bit sweeter and needs more fish sauce. Thai milk tea is amazing.

I knew I was in for an authentic Thai feast just from the look of the place. Hole in the wall joints like this serve the best food. They did not disappoint. The papaya seafood salad tasted like it came from Thailand. The spice level could be brought up a notch though. The garlic shrimp dish was the standout...so good! The rice with the red curry wasn’t cooked evenly, though I did enjoy it. Overall, this place definitely satisfies my Thai cravings. Food just needs to be a bit spicier. Return visit after four years: Food is still tasty and authentic. The papaya salad when requesting “large” spicy is just the right amount. The boat noodle is tasty though the broth is on the sweeter side. Service is great from the ladies but the larger dude is off putting. He acts like he doesn’t need your business. Patio seating unavailable at the moment as there’s construction going on next door.

Taste is great! Their boat noodles has the perfect taste for a person who eats spicy food on a regular basis. Unless you really like to eat extreme levels of spice then you can just add a bit more of the chilli oil, vinegar, chilli flakes and sugar like how the Thai people do hahaha. (I actually went overboard with mine but it was still great!). Perfect for a chilly day to warm you up from the inside. I would definitely recommend their papaya salad; I think this shop nails the taste spot on! Their prawns though - They taste great...it has sort of a Chinese dish taste haha but the portion is too small for NT$400. I've had these types of portion for around NT$200-250 which I used to think was expensive haha Their milk tea is a bit on the sweeter side compared to other shops I've had before. Overall, would surely recommend this place. Will try their tom yum dishes next time!

4.5/5 Thai boat noodles — good soup and noodles, has meatball and liver 4.5/5 pad Thai — good noodles, not much meat, only imitation crab for 120 nt

The shrimp glass noodle portion does not match the price point (395 NT). For reference, the amount of glass noodle served was less than a pack of instant noodle. The shrimp was fresh though 👍 The overall taste was good, but the portions could really be improved. The pad thai was delicious 👍 The daily special item, Thai seafood pancake, was amazingly flavourful. Expect to wait at least 40min for dine in because they don’t take reservations.

Yelp
My colleagues and I are regulars here, among other groups of Thai people that know about the special menu, Tom Yum Woon Sen (泰式米粉湯) Everyone may know about Thai Tomyum Goong, but not everyone know about its cousin tomyum-woonsen, it is a menu that can be found on the street in Thailand, not a restaurant dish, but an average person's everyday meal. If you like the sweet, sour, and spicy elements in Thai food, you should definitely check it out. If you work around the area, maybe you will turn into a regular like me and my colleagues. The owner 'Aunty-Tang' as we know her by, used to owned a small cart on the opposite street, with only 3 small tables for customers to sit. This new location allows more people to dine in without the chaotic cars and people in the background. (Even with the crazy commotion, people still lined up for her food, so trust me when I say it's good.)

Yelp
This is pretty authentic, may not be exactly what you expect but delicious nonetheless. Their popular dishes that are on the wall is all I've had so far but have never disappointed. The papaya salad with seafood and egg noodles is wicked spicy but delicious if you can handle heat. The workers are super nice and welcoming. They've given us desserts on the house before as well. Love this spot!
