Keep in mind that "it is easier to go down the stairs than to go back up the stairs", especially if you visit on a hot and humidity day. I wish that we had gone earlier in the day so that we could enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, just for the fun and the frolick of it. Sadly people queue in line to get a great iconic picture of themselves with the whole waterfalls, when just a segment would suffice for a very good picture. I am however grateful that people line-up patiently to get their most memorable photos, but there is one thing... Smoking. When you do it in line, in a river, you kind of ruin the mood for others. You are enjoying the beauty of nature in the presence of people who do not smoke. It changes our perception of the place and our comfort. Some of us are even intolerant to the smell of smoke and can still smell it hours after being exposed. Will you keep your cigarette butt or confidently let it go down the river when you are done? We stood near the rock façade opposite the falls and took a selfie where we managed to block most people from the queue. We're happy with our photo. As we had come down the stairs to the left (up river) and enjoyed a swim in the fast current, we feel that we had a beautiful experience. 5 local boys showed up after school and had a great time, rousing the bridge and splashing about. This is the joy that you expect to find in such a place, not faux meditation pictures.

Its a lovely waterfall, but please note: - Pretty commercial, your view of the waterfall is quite distracted by the posing of people in front. - Quite a lot of stairs, however, all well maintained. - Some facilities like toilet and lunch rooms, which was quite nice. - Entrance fee (25k p.p.) The surroundings were beautiful to look at, so although the waterfall was a bit crowded, we enjoyed our visit. You can dip in the water, but not really swim. No jumping places.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall was such a beautiful stop on our trip. The waterfall is tucked away in the jungle and feels like a hidden oasis. The water cascades down a wide rock wall, creating the perfect spot for photos and for cooling off in the natural pools. The walk down is fairly easy, and once you arrive the atmosphere is peaceful with the sound of rushing water all around. Local guides are available to help take photos and show you the best spots to stand, which made the visit even more enjoyable. It is best to visit earlier in the day if you want a quieter experience since it can get busy later on. Overall Kanto Lampo is a stunning waterfall and definitely worth adding to any Bali itinerary. I recommend going down the river and up to the top instead of being at the bottom of the waterfall with all the people trying to get instagram shots. Also go under the first tiny waterfall!!

It's a beautiful waterfall. If you are coming to get that perfect picture in front of the waterfalls, there's generally a long queue and approximate waiting time of 2 hours. Entrance fee of 25k. Washrooms, changing rooms, lockers, etc. are available.

Access to the waterfall is through the park entrance, followed by a short walk down some stairs. It can get crowded with long lines to take photos, but there are professional photographers on site who capture amazing shots — no payment required, though tips are appreciated. The park also has toilets and changing rooms available. Overall, an amazing waterfall and definitely worth a visit.

Breathtakingly beautiful. This place is so popular for a reason. Crowded but would not recommend skipping this. If you want to take photos under the main waterfall, there is a waiting line which takes around 1 hour to get to your turn. They have a small place to bathe as well. The vibe is very good but the stairs are slippery and steep.

A beautiful waterfall. A major drawback, it gets overcrowded pretty quick. Was told the queue to take a picture with the falls up close could take up to 1.5 hrs wait. Alternatively, you could take the whole view of the fall from the top. Anyone who doesn't like waiting, just take the left route, cross the stream for a short walk up and you get a full view.

Kanto Lampo is a lovely waterfall. Actually there are two waterfalls. One big and one smaller. The big one has a much longer queue, while the smaller one will afford you the opportunity to get great pictures of you and your loved ones. The longer line is in the pool beneath the falls, so on a hot day, this might be refreshing. We had other places to see, so we opted for the more convenient of the two. There are lots of guides at the falls to assist you with photos and videos. These guys are professionals! Be sure to give them a tip for helping with capturing your memories. The walk to the falls is not too demanding, but appropriate shoes are always a safe bet around water. It is a must-see when in Bali or Ubud.
