Kanto Lampo Waterfall was such a pleasant surprise and looked really beautiful. The waterfall itself is amazing and totally worth the visit. However, be prepared for a lot of stairs to reach the spot. Also, do carry extra clothes if you plan to step into the water or take photos near the falls. There is an entry charge, so keep that in mind before visiting. Overall, a very good experience and definitely recommended for nature and waterfall lovers.

Amazing place to visit, a real 'postcard' scenery. The entrance cost 25k per person, the photo wait line wasn't long - 15-20 min. Don't pay attention to mean bitter comments about 'wannabe Instagram models' - probably these people didn't get a nice photo (or a girlfriend/boyfriend 😆). This place is fun and yes, touristic - for a reason! The cascading water streaming down the rocks looks amazing and the light from the top adds to the beauty. There's greenery everywhere and the experience is truly splendid - for less people you can go over to the cave and then in a few meters there's a nice view on the waterfall from the top - with no people. Also you can get amazing photos near the first smaller waterfall - almost no queue there. Locals take wonderful shots - they are skilled and really fun to interact, they will show you how to pose beautifully. Also they don't ask for a specific charge - just a tip at your discretion. We left 100k for 2 people and the guy also made is photos on another location:3

Very beautiful falls, but it can get really crowded. You won’t get much chance to enjoy the falls itself because people are lining up to take photos. That can be both good and bad—photo-taking is very organized so no one photobombs you, but you can’t really swim/take a dip there 😅. The place is quite big though, and on the other side of the falls there’s a stream where you can relax and take a dip.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall is an absolute must if you’re visiting Ubud or Bali. It’s one of the best places for photos, and the local photographers are incredible. They guide you with poses and know exactly how to capture the best angles—very professional. The cost is only about $3–4 USD, which makes it even more amazing. Great experience, stunning photos, and unforgettable memories.

Gorgeous Waterfall and Amazing Photo Spot Kanto Lampo Waterfall is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the visit. The cascading water flowing over the rocks creates a stunning backdrop for photos, and the atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing. It can get a little busy, but the views and experience make it worth it. The walk down is easy, and the cool water at the bottom feels amazing after the heat. A must-see Bali stop for nature lovers and anyone looking for memorable photos. Lots of stairs and walking.

Keep in mind that "it is easier to go down the stairs than to go back up the stairs", especially if you visit on a hot and humidity day. I wish that we had gone earlier in the day so that we could enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, just for the fun and the frolick of it. Sadly people queue in line to get a great iconic picture of themselves with the whole waterfalls, when just a segment would suffice for a very good picture. I am however grateful that people line-up patiently to get their most memorable photos, but there is one thing... Smoking. When you do it in line, in a river, you kind of ruin the mood for others. You are enjoying the beauty of nature in the presence of people who do not smoke. It changes our perception of the place and our comfort. Some of us are even intolerant to the smell of smoke and can still smell it hours after being exposed. Will you keep your cigarette butt or confidently let it go down the river when you are done? We stood near the rock façade opposite the falls and took a selfie where we managed to block most people from the queue. We're happy with our photo. As we had come down the stairs to the left (up river) and enjoyed a swim in the fast current, we feel that we had a beautiful experience. 5 local boys showed up after school and had a great time, rousing the bridge and splashing about. This is the joy that you expect to find in such a place, not faux meditation pictures.

It's a beautiful waterfall to visit, but ensure you do it on a less crowded day (your taxi driver can help with judging this), and be prepared to climb many stairs on your way back up faces along the stairs, which are nice surprises in your which can be taxing on a hot and humid day. The waterfall itself is unfortunately filled with tourists waiting to take a photo, which is a little off putting but I guess that's the price you pay for tourism. The place also has a temple and some hidden faves which are a pleasant surprise.

Well worth a visit. Things to know. We got there for 8am (Saturday) 60k each for entry. 10k for a locker if you want to put your stuff somewhere but we left ours down near the waterfall and it was fine. You don’t need footwear in the waterfall best to leave that with your stuff. It’s gravel and small stones in the water and pretty easy to climb up the steps to get your picture taken, just take it easy walking up and down. Photographers are great, they’ll direct you and pics are excellent. They’ll show you the photos after and you tip what you like….They do a fantastic job.
