Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Kanto Lampo Waterfall was such a pleasant surprise and looked really beautiful. The waterfall itself is amazing and totally worth the visit. However, be prepared for a lot of stairs to reach the spot. Also, do carry extra clothes if you plan to step into the water or take photos near the falls. There is an entry charge, so keep that in mind before visiting. Overall, a very good experience and definitely recommended for nature and waterfall lovers.

A beautiful waterfall and a great photo spot. The waterfall cascading over the rocks creates a stunning backdrop for photos. It's a busy spot, but the views and experience are worth it. The path down is easy thanks to the stone steps, and the cool water below feels wonderful after the heat.

This place is very nice, and the entrance fee is IDR 25,000 per person. We can take photos by ourselves, but there are also photographers available, and the fee is IDR 100,000 per person. You can swim and take beautiful photos there. The closing time is 6:00 PM. The environment is natural and peaceful, and the atmosphere is friendly. It’s a nice place to visit. Sometimes there is a queue to take photos, but overall it is worth visiting.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall review: This waterfall is known as one of the larger ones in the area. Although it looks visually impressive, during our visit the cleanliness of the water and the surrounding smell were a bit unpleasant for us. For hygiene reasons, we chose not to enter the water. Instead, we spent some time at the smaller waterfall located above. Overall, I would say it did not meet our expectations. Considering that there are waterfalls around the world with incredibly clean, clear water and outstanding natural beauty, this place was somewhat disappointing for us. 📌 Recommendation: It may be helpful to check the seasonal conditions and water quality before visiting.

Amazing place to visit, a real 'postcard' scenery. The entrance cost 25k per person, the photo wait line wasn't long - 15-20 min. Don't pay attention to mean bitter comments about 'wannabe Instagram models' - probably these people didn't get a nice photo (or a girlfriend/boyfriend 😆). This place is fun and yes, touristic - for a reason! The cascading water streaming down the rocks looks amazing and the light from the top adds to the beauty. There's greenery everywhere and the experience is truly splendid - for less people you can go over to the cave and then in a few meters there's a nice view on the waterfall from the top - with no people. Also you can get amazing photos near the first smaller waterfall - almost no queue there. Locals take wonderful shots - they are skilled and really fun to interact, they will show you how to pose beautifully. Also they don't ask for a specific charge - just a tip at your discretion. We left 100k for 2 people and the guy also made us photos on another location:3

Lovely waterfall but too crowded as people are waiting in line to take pictures. We decided not to go near, enjoyed the view from afar. There are lockers down the waterfall as well, you don’t need to leave your belongings at the enterance. Stalls are much cheaper than Ubud, don’t forget to check them. Enterance is inexpensive, no point to buy beforehand.

Entrance fee was IDR 25.000 each person. I don’t think there’s a difference between local and international prices. This is the famous spot where all the influencers took underneath the waterfall. I honestly much prefer the river upstream where you can chill and relax with a serene view. Totally worth it.

A really beautiful waterfall and definitely one of the most memorable spots from my time in Ubud. The scenery is impressive and it’s well worth the visit. Just keep in mind there are a lot of stairs and they’re quite steep.😅 The walk back up is pretty challenging, so be prepared but overall, still absolutely worth it.
