A good Thai restaurant with reasonable prices. I wouldn’t say it’s exceptional, but it’s a reliable choice when we don’t feel like cooking. It’s perfect for a quick, casual dinner—nothing can go wrong.

First time at this casual Thai/Sushi restaurant. I recommend the Japanese Gyoza and the Edamame as appetizers. Both are wonderful. I love a Green Curry but need it very mild. They were able to accommodate this request, and the curry was very still very flavorful. Salmon Poke Bowl was also very good! Beautiful food presentation. Restaurant started to really get crowded around 6:30 on a Friday night, so plan ahead. We will definitely be back!

Kao Gang was a solid dining experience. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dishes were enjoyable, though nothing particularly mind-blowing. The service was efficient, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It’s a good spot for a satisfying meal, and I’d be happy to come back.

One of our most favorite Authentic Thai Cuisine in Palm Beach Gardens!! When I say Authentic I mean this place is Legit Thai!! Flavors straight from Thailand without flying to Thailand!! Some of our favorite dishes are the Papaya Salad (spicy green papaya salad), the Isan Sausage (Thai sour sausage), the Lad Na (flat soy rice noodle with gravy)! They have selections from sushi bad as well but we didn’t order any. Just becareful in the parking lot, there’s a lot of cars and people jts a busy strip mall. Our car got scratched from cars pulling in and out.

3 stars total for the vibes inside and the sake. Came here for the first time today and we were seated quickly which was good. I got a bottle of lychee sake to start and they put it on ice which I loved. For apps we got the spring rolls and the gyozas. Both were ok. The gyozas could have been pan fried a little more as they had no crispiness to them. Then we got the JB deluxe roll and the imitation crab on top was gross and the salmon inside didnt taste right. My boyfriend had the pad thai and he enjoyed it. Our server was nice but not very attentive. Probably wouldnt come back.

My 1st time here, & with my Thai friend! Menus come written in Thai as well as English. Find all the Thailand favorites. Pretty interior, & near Trader Joe's.

I strive to government 5 star reviews, always. It's a win-win when that happens. My family decided to get Thai food and we choose Kao Gang. It's was a nice place and everyone working there was nice. The food was good. My main complaint was the way in which they brought out the food. Everyone at our table AND the table next to us received their dinner at different times. I'm not used to that. Normally they wait until everyone's dinner is ready and you get them all around the same time. We had 4 people at our table and the table next to is also had 4 people. After several minutes both tables had oneowrson waiting foe their dinner which made it a little uncomfortable for everyone e else. Do we start eating or wait? I told everyone to start eating but I could tell they weren't happy about it. Maybe that's the way restaurants serve people these days. Not what I'm used to.

Hands down the best Thai Food in PGA area. Our favorite spot. Great service, Jasmine is my girl, she's awesome. Lovely atmosphere. Good size portion for the price. This place is a must !

Where do I start! My daughter N law was wanting Asian food. so she decided on this place ... 1st look it's very expensive we got 4 things the cost was $80 We bought chicken fried rice, lobster pizza small about a size of a cup saucer .I think that is what it was called and potstickers and spring rolls from lunch menu. The spring rolls were definitely frozen because they were soggy in the middle the pizza was tooo soggy to pick up .... It was just nasty! All we ate was the fried rice .

Ambiance: place is beautiful! Spacious! Service: servers and waitresses were very attentive. Food: the sushi was great for what it was it was fresh. The Thai tea was amazing. Food was more of sweet and sour to everything! If u want more flavors to your food vs just sweet and sour this is not the place for you! Overall everything was okay! Not great, not bad, but okay lol.

This place is so good! I love the duck soup! They have whole steamed or fried fish of the day. Service is always good even when they are busy. Sushi is okay thier main dishes are amazing.

Kai Gang is my "go to" for sushi when I am in Palm Bch Gardens! Always fresh, presentation is beautiful & reasonable prices!

First time visiting here and we came for lunch. The service was fast and friendly. Sushi was fresh and did not disappoint! I even enjoyed the decorations. For two at lunch it was very affordable. We will be back!

We're here almost weekly. Love the staff, ambiance and food. Personal favorites are crispy bok choy, some of the soup bowls, and all of the sushi, which is always fresh and delish.

I love Thai food, this place is real. The bowls are awesome. The noodles yum, the staff is funny and attentive.

They have a few vegetarian items, for example you can order summer rolls and ask for the shrimp to be left out. They are very accommodating of children with special dietary requests. The service was great, one person and she was flying around the room. The murals of fish are very cool to look at during dinner.

Sloppy rolls that fell apart. Two out of two rolls were not what we ordered Also, it's so annoying when the staff starts cleaning floors and doing loud side work an hour and 15mins before closing time. The waitstaff kept trying to take our unfinished plates of food away. Felt rushed and uncomfortable. During off season, this place needs to close for a few days to undergo a deep cleaning -EEK!

Kao Gang was disappointing. The staff was unfriendly, and the food was mediocre and lacked freshness. Our waitress never returned to check on us, leaving us feeling ignored. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting again.

Ordered takeout Pad Thai. it was on time and excellent. And just as good when reheated the next day.

Nice authentic Thai food. It's our go-to restaurant whenever we need real Thai food. Never disappointed. Great service too.

Fantastic all around. Food is authentic and unique. Very extensive menu. Service is always happy, smiling and though busy, very attentive. Ambiance is perfectly charming and what you'd expect. They take reservations for 4 or more. They even have spicy-ness levels 1 to 5 for each dish. I had the drunken noodles at spicy level 4 and it was superb. Definitely recommend.

KG is a very clean and friendly restaurant. I originally went for sushi, but they did not have many specialty rolls with eel or without cucumber or asparagus, so I branched out and got an entree. The curry was good and was the perfect portion. My husband did have a specialty roll and was very happy with it.

The food is absolutely fabulous there especially the duck and their spicy tuna pizza. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I eat there, and do take away ....

Food is excellent (love that they use fish sauce in the base sauces, deepens the flavor so much, without tasting "fishy" in case anyone is worried about that). Love their rice blends of forbidden rice or riceberry, brown rice and sweet or sticky rice. Services is always good, and nice although not fancy interior.

Went to Kai Gang for lunch with some friends. First time for me, what a nice surprise. We ordered off their lunch menu. The service was friendly and quick. My friend ordered a sushi bento box, the other a shrimp dish and I ordered the basil chicken , all delicious. Food was served hot and plentiful and for a great price. Looking forward to returning!

The food portions are huge but the unfriendly arrogant manager/owner needs to learn professionalism he sits around and counting order receipts and brags about how busy his location is instead of helping customers with their food and the other reviews are right they don't check to see if the order is right they bring out the wrong thing and give you attitude when you tell them u didn't order the extra tea. They are only busy because of the location not the quality if food that they serve or the actual service. No one should expect any comps because according to them they are too busy and dont need returning customers this is especially for the great manager with the big gold ring and the biggest ego in pga area

We stopped in for lunch after a random conversation with some strangers in front of FoodShack last week. We got to talking Thai and they recommended we check it out! Boy are we glad we did. The staff were prompt and gracious. We started with Tom Ka Gai soup and it might be the best I've ever had. My husband had a lunch portion of a dry style curry and I had a mixed poke bowl. They were both beautifully presented and delicious. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Ordered the chicken satay and it was completely raw. All 4 pieces of it. Very disappointed therefore I do not recommend!

Kao Gang is my go-to spot and it never misses. The pad thai is always perfectly done and the spring rolls are always crispy and flavorful.

The appetizers were received promptly and were hot and fresh. The main entree was huge, hot and delicious as well. The waiter, JP, initially did not introduce himself but when I asked him his name, he began to open up and smile with the service. The place was extremely busy but timely with the food service. The place was small but quaint with interesting decor throughout. Nice overall. Food was really good.

BEST PAD THAI IN PALM BEACH COUNTY! Hands down! First time customer celebrating a birthday and will now forever return. Everything we got was tasty, hot and amazing portion sizes. They have a an amazing staff with a lot great menu to satisfy your palate. Our server was a bit busy but that's the norm these days with staffing but she did her best to check on us when she can and make any accommodations. She was super friendly and explained any menu questions and offered up suggestions.

We were hoping that this would be a good Thai place. The Menu certainly looked encouraging with all those options and numerous dishes. But unfortunately we were disappointed. The man who greeted and seated us seemed irritated and impatient with everything. Then he snapped and yelled when we gave our orders. Perhaps he is hard of hearing? Nonetheless the experience was less than acceptable. The shrimp tempura bento box had two pieces of shrimp which were breaded extremely heavily. First this is supposed to be a Thai restaurant and bento boxes are Japanese. Secondly the batter was everything but tempura batter. Thick, chewy, bready, tasteless and dated. Horrible. The vegetables accompanying the shrimp were similarly breaded with this horrible 'breading'. It was inedible. What a disappointment. Never again, thank you.

I have to admit I underestimated this restaurant for far too long. It's always teeming with a crowd, and the lunch menu (available until 4 pm) is a bargain and a gem. I'm always impressed with the service. I drink loads of water, and my drink is always refilled. It's a cute little place inside, mostly lined with booths. I always like it when restaurants have natural greenery. Their takeout business is booming, but still the dine-in crowd is large. I've found the starters to be lovely. The vegan crispy money bags are so crispy and addictive. I really enjoy the Nam Sod salad in pork very spicy. I often get the fried rice, and I need to check out the curries but I have not yet. The fried Thai donuts are next level, but they don't always have them.

This is our second time visiting here. First time we had delicious meal "Pad See Eew". Service was excellent and ambiance is interesting and cozy. Because of good experience, we are back to explore more into Noodles section of the menu. Again, we were welcomed and seated right away. This time we had Lad Bar Noodle as a meal. It was delicious. Portions are very generous and service very appropriate and efficient. Beer selection, like Sapporo and Asahi provides more ethnic flavor.

Ate here while on vacation. This place is on point. From ambiance to the service to the dishes. My Tom yum was excellent, sushi was perfect, and sake was hot just the way I like. I want to come back if I'm ever over that way again.

The food is good. Nothing 'wow' but it's decent. I'm not sure I would say 'let's get Kai gang' tonight but it's a good fall back option.

THIS IS MY GO TO SUSHI SPOT-- GET THE CRISPY BOK CHOY YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!! Gosh this place makes amazing food. I highly recommend the Alaskan roll, the elfie roll, and the crispy bok choy. Their edemame and spring rolls are also delicious if you are hungry for more appetizers. I have only ordered delivery so cannot say what the restaurant is like, but I can confirm that their sushi is delicious and fresh! Been ordering from them for almost a year now and haven't been disappointed yet!

My family and I really enjoyed our festive dinner tonight. I ordered the "Warm Lobster Pad Thai." After we ordered, we saw incredible dishes going by our table stacked high with delicious looking food. We were envious what others ordered. A few minutes later, that very same dish was put in front of me. I don't care where you go for sushi or Thai food in Palm Beach County, you will not see more generous portions than at Kao Gang. So large portions doesn't necessarily mean good food. Well, my wife, daughter and I agreed it was the best tasting Pad Thai we had in years. I thought they would put a few shreds of lobster in the Pad Thai. Instead, there was an entire Caribbean lobster tail set on top. It was tasty and delicious. My wife ordered a special sushi roll. I expected to see like a do at so many restaurants a small plate of food. Instead, a long plate filled with our sushi roll appeared! An incredible experience at Kao Gang.

What a disappointment?? It was terrible. my wife's dinner, the chicken was so tough she couldn't chew it. The vegetables were raw. We brought it to the attention of the waiter. My wife didn't eat 95% of the meal and gave us a 25% discount on her meal that we left on the table, poor customer service. My dinner was fair at best. I asked for medium hot. There was no hot, and the chicken was also challenging. The food was cooked in the microwave. One of those never-again experiences.

I couldn't disagree more with s.m. Kao Gang is super delicious great service haven't had the soda but everything else is terrific Nice size portions fresh fish / sushi n their curry dishes are out of this world

The food is great here but the STAFF IS TERRIBLE! I ordered a summer roll which mind you barely has any shrimp in it. It's all spring mix with a sliver of meat. I told the waiter and he said he'll take half off (he should've just taken it back and taken it off the check, but whatever). So I ordered fried spring rolls. I don't think he ever put in the order. I just asked for the check and left because I was so disappointed with the service. I am a frequent customer the sushi is one of the best but the service is def one of the worst. It's always a hit or miss with the service here.

Not feeling too great today so I only Tom Yum soup with chicken to go and the flavor was great! Looking forward to returning!

This is one of the few restaurants in a strip mall that is busy during lunch hour. It is a nice, neat and clean place. The staff, even though they were busy, they were friendly and polite and helpful. The Lunch menu is pretty straightforward and offers a variety of sushi and Bento boxes, and a large selection of Thai dishes. We were so hungry we ate without taking any pictures! The food is deliciously tasty. We had the crunchy noodles that came separate from the sauce. The Unagi Bento Box has a good selection of sashimi, some gyoza and rice with the unagi. A satisfactory palate. I had a Green Papaya Salad to go, and it turned out to be a great choice as it was consumed with gusto. If you are in the vicinity, you should give them a visit.

Top notch Thai and sushi, very friendly and attentive staff in an always lively yet relaxing environment. Consistently bustling with people all clearly enjoying some of the best Thai food in Palm Beachy county, if not everywhere in an intimate space tucked away in an unassuming spot in a busy plaza. Your eyes go to the beautifully presented meals being shuttled to each table to help you chose from the sushi or Thai menu. No matter what you choose the dish will not only look inviting but will be bursting with authentic and fresh flavors. Love this place.

Highly recommend. Great sushi! The Tom kha soup was great. Ambiance was relaxing and nice. Service was nice and thoughtful. I'd make this a normal thing if we were local!

Stopped here for lunch today, they had every other table serving customers. All the staff was wearing masks and gloves. Service was fast and everyone was friendly. We had ordered Thai ice tea, the Isaan pork Jersey to start (really good!), and the Malakor (green papaya) salad (delicious, I ordered spice level 3 and it had a really good kick to it). For lunch I had bento box #5 (hosomaki) and the husband had #9 (tuna) both delicious!! The fish and ingredients was fresh. Rice is cooked perfectly and the right amount of rice is on the sushi. The menu is huge, so many things to choose from, can't not wait to return and try other items! Highly recommended.

Good food... terrible service...manager was so aggressive, it was embarrassing...a "shake down" for 30% gratuity
