Kapama Buffalo Camp

We have just finished a four night stay at the Buffalo Camp and we cannot recommend it enough. The trip was a trip of a lifetime. The staff at the camp are all so welcoming and lovely and honestly we cannot thank them enough. Our guides, Trust and Endy were absolutely incredible. They kept us entertained and were extremely knowledgeable on the wildlife and we were incredibly lucky to see all the big five while we were away. We went on the complimentary bush walk with Ben and Endy which was very good and we learnt a lot! So thank you to all the people working at the Buffalo camp - you made our trip so special!|The food was incredible - you will never go hungry!! We are both vegetarian so really appreciated options and very good food! Our meals were made even better by Dennis who was always so smiley and happy! Thank you!|The room itself was impeccable. Thank you to the staff for always keeping the room so clean and tidy, it really helped after a long day!|Also, the camp is child free so a very relaxing environment! |If you ever get the opportunity to go on a safari, I would really recommend going here!

This was already our third stay at Kapama, and once again it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – the reception staff were excellent. Our accommodation was wonderful, and the morning and evening drives with our guide and assistant guide were simply fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience.||||The meals – from breakfast and lunch to high tea and dinner – were absolutely perfect, and the entire staff was always friendly and attentive. Another highlight was that shortly after our arrival, we decided to extend our stay by one more night, and the lodge offered us a great deal, which we really appreciated.||||Overall, our time here was just amazing, and we will definitely remember it as a very special experience.

From the second we got picked up at the airport with a sign, spotted giraffes and elephants on the way to lodge, and every single moment in between we we’re overwhelmed with the hospitality and experience of Buffalo Camp at Kapama. ||||We saw lions, leopards, buffalo, rhino, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and more all within our first 2 rides! Our guides Trust and Joseph were top notch, tracking animals, teaching us about them, and making us feel at home! ||||The accommodations were fantastic! Chic, elegant and rustic all at the same time. ||||The staff is incredible and ready to support any need! |||| We will be back!

What an incredible place . From the moment you are greeted at the airport you knew something special was coming . Spotted rhino 100m inside the gates on way to check in . The greetings from staff and the simply wow experience when you arrive to camp. The rooms are too good to describe , the food is as good as you will eat any where in the world let alone the African bush . The twice daily safaris offer up||Something different everyday . Simply put this is the most amazing packs to enjoy African Safari holiday .

We had an unforgettable stay at Kapama Buffalo Camp. The service was outstanding — warm, welcoming staff who went above and beyond. The luxury tents were immaculate, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The food was excellent, with great variety and presentation. The game drives were the highlight — our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much while seeing the Big Five and more. A perfect mix of adventure and comfort. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent welcoming camp that exceeded our expectations. All the staff were lovely and there to help you. Luxury tent accomodation and a very high food standard. Great safaris and we saw the Big 5!

Absolutely an amazing experience. The camp was beautiful - small which is what we where looking for, we did not want to be squished in with a bunch of other people. The most we had on our game runs were one other couple. The 'tent' was beautiful, clean, and has everything you need. Your views are just of nature, we saw monkeys, nyala and lizards right off our porch. There were morning and afternoon/evening game drives. In the first day and a half we saw all 5 of the 'big five' and much more: male and female lions: male and female leopards; elephants; hippos; rhinos; zebras: giraffes; impalas; an ardvark; nyalas; warthogs; water buffalo; wildebeest, etc. Our guides were amazing. The food was excellent and service was superior. While you could go to the other camps, we never felt the need to. Highly recommend!
