Kapama Buffalo Camp

This was already our third stay at Kapama, and once again it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – the reception staff were excellent. Our accommodation was wonderful, and the morning and evening drives with our guide and assistant guide were simply fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience.||||The meals – from breakfast and lunch to high tea and dinner – were absolutely perfect, and the entire staff was always friendly and attentive. Another highlight was that shortly after our arrival, we decided to extend our stay by one more night, and the lodge offered us a great deal, which we really appreciated.||||Overall, our time here was just amazing, and we will definitely remember it as a very special experience.

Our family had an incredible experience at the camp—truly one of the best trips we've ever taken. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt like part of a big family.||||What stood out the most was the hospitality of the entire staff and the strong sense of safety throughout the camp. We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Natalie and Langu for their incredible hospitality and attention during our stay.||||The only small suggestion we would make is that meal preparation times could be a bit shorter—but honestly, it’s a minor detail in an otherwise perfect experience.||||We came back home feeling happy, grateful, and already dreaming of returning. From the second we got picked up at the airport with a sign, spotted giraffes and elephants on the way to lodge, and every single moment in between we we’re overwhelmed with the hospitality and experience of Buffalo Camp at Kapama. ||||We saw lions, leopards, buffalo, rhino, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and more all within our first 2 rides! Our guides Trust and Joseph were top notch, tracking animals, teaching us about them, and making us feel at home! ||||The accommodations were fantastic! Chic, elegant and rustic all at the same time. ||||The staff is incredible and ready to support any need! |||| We will be back!

What an incredible place . From the moment you are greeted at the airport you knew something special was coming . Spotted rhino 100m inside the gates on way to check in . The greetings from staff and the simply wow experience when you arrive to camp. The rooms are too good to describe , the food is as good as you will eat any where in the world let alone the African bush . The twice daily safaris offer up||Something different everyday . Simply put this is the most amazing packs to enjoy African Safari holiday .

We went to Kapama mid July , they let us know this is the best time to go because it is their summer and the grass is shorter so it’s easier to see animals. We were lucky enough to see the Big 5! The staff was very friendly every morning and evening , they have snacks and drinks they give you mid game drive that was a nice surprise!

We had an unforgettable stay at Kapama Buffalo Camp. The service was outstanding — warm, welcoming staff who went above and beyond. The luxury tents were immaculate, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The food was excellent, with great variety and presentation. The game drives were the highlight — our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much while seeing the Big Five and more. A perfect mix of adventure and comfort. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent welcoming camp that exceeded our expectations. All the staff were lovely and there to help you. Luxury tent accomodation and a very high food standard. Great safaris and we saw the Big 5!
