Kapetan Tasos Suites

We stayed at this lovely resort July 1-5, 2025. We had read the great reviews and this place was truly wonderful. The attention to detail was quite impressive. The room was stocked with lovely extras like wine, pop, lotions, wine glasses and more. The rooms were cleaned daily and extremely well and although we tried to leave a tip they never did take it. The location is close to the beach and about a 4 minute walk into the town of Pollonia where there are several great restaurants to choose from. We were here for 4 days and that was plenty of time to tour this island for us. The only thing that would make this resort even better would be an outdoor pool with some sun.....but it was still nice to use the covered pool when we got really hot!

We stayed here for 5 beautiful nights. What an amazing place! The staff at Kapetan Tasos Suites are the most welcoming and lovely team, that really make your stay a 5 star experience. They go above and beyond with their service; from the beach and pool towels, a stocked complimentary mini bar and beautiful bathroom products (I wish I could’ve bought the ‘Body Milk’ it was so nice to put on after a long day in the sun). Close to all the lovely restaurants in the village of Pollonia. The cave winery (a must visit if staying here) is 1 min down the road as well as the beach and Hitana Beach Club! Would absolutely recommend to stay here and hope to be back in the future.

Perfect island - amazing beaches, lots of things to do and good food . Perfect location - the suites are 5 mins walk from great restaurants and bars and 3 mins the other way to a quiet beach and beach club. Perfect room - spotless, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and decorated with awesome view of the sea (Room 8 ). Perfect breakfast - light and tasty with freshly baked pastries yum. And last but by no means least Perfect host - nothing is too much trouble for Katerina and she always had fabulous suggestions and advice - a true ambassador for Milos. Thank you and we will be back!!

We had a wonderful stay. Out trip started with a glass of wine as a welcome drink and ended with "see you again". |This hotel was beautiful with incredible energy, specious rooms, friendly people and helpful staff. It was peaceful and quite but yet only 5 mins from the beach.||We loved our stay here and would stay again.||Mirjana/Jelena

Where to begin. Kapetan Tasos’ was absolutely perfect. The accommodations, decor, beds and the staff were five star. We had a one bedroom suite which was quite large and very comfortable. ||We are traveling through Greece for a month and by far, this is a favorite. We have traveled the Greek Islands on four other month long holidays and Kapetan Tasos and Pollonia Milos, by far, are our favorite. The hotel is perfectly situated to walk to restaurants and shops. ||Katerina was helpful in coordinating our transportation from the airport, which is a must as the airport is a one runway and one gate airport. Taxi’s do not wait at the airport. She also coordinated our departure to the port. We had peace of mind with Katerina’s coordination. She had excellent recommendations for restaurants and wine tasting at Konstantakis winery. There is a lovely small beach club, a five minute walk, to enjoy the beautiful Aegean. They had a lovely selection of Greek morning treats to start the day. ||In addition to Katerina, Stella, the owner, was a delightful lady. We had the pleasure of meeting her father, Kapetan Tasos, as we walked back and forth into town. We enjoyed our daily chats with him. He is so proud of the hotel and his staff, as he should be. The hotel and town of Pollonia are what I think of when I think of a perfect Greek Island and holiday.

Excellent apartments at a great location. Pollonia is a nice village at the beach. We stayed for 5 nights at Kapetan Tasos Suites. The apartments are beautifully decorated and very nice equiped. The fridge is full of nice drinks and you will find local honey and cookies in your kitchen. Every morning a really nice breakfast with homemade Greek pie and cookies. The appartements are very well maintained and very clean. The staff is wonderful and they really care! Katharine will do her upmost to ensure you have a great stay. Beach and good restaurants very close by. We will recommend and return some day! Next time I will book seasight. Score 10/10!!

Stayed 5 nights in a one bed suite. The apartments have many good points.||Spacious, clean and comfortable. Good size bathroom plus another shower room and toilet. Large seating area.||Kitchenette was well equipped. Some drinks, wine and items like honey, compote and peanut butter provided as a welcome gift. ||Good size balcony and we had a sea view from our room number 8. ||Complimentary pastries available throughout the day in the lobby. ||Mini gym with some weights and a treadmill.||Friendly host and staff.||However, there were a few things we weren't so keen on, such as lack of outdoor space and the pool, which is partly covered and dark. It doesn't get any sun and it's not an area you'd want sit by; there are only two sunbeds in any case. Overall, the location is not a sunny spot. We only got sun on our balcony for a short time first thing and the building is very close to a large wall of the neighbouring property. Nevertheless, you are only 5 mins walk from the centre of Pollenia where there is a decent beach, as well as cafes, restaurants and a few shops.||We also didn't like the showers as both the glass side panels and shower curtains are not long enough so that the water soaks the bathroom floors.||

Staying at Kapetan Tasos in Milos was an unforgettable experience where every little detail was carefully curated to make our stay truly memorable. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the incredible hospitality of the hotel team. The owner is wonderfully kind and welcoming, and Katerina is absolutely exceptional. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. From offering insightful tips about places to visit, making reservations at the island's best restaurants, arranging car rentals, and organizing transfers, Katerina's dedication and warmth were unparalleled. Our trip to Milos was fantastic, but staying at Kapetan Tasos made it exceptional. If you're planning a visit to Milos, you must stay at Kapetan Tasos for an extraordinary experience!
