I am a Senior citizen with several Masters Degrees and a world of experience. I can audit classes at KCC, and have taken several undergrad courses in the past two years with various instructors, all highly recommended.
You get out of it what you put in, but I never failed to learn a lot in each class I took. The facilities are very good, and the cafeteria is quite good. The Ka'ikena Restaurant has a great view and a learning atmosphere, so we try to get reservations there at least once each semester. A plus is that we don't have to pay for parking and several city buses stop right at the college
The teachers are student-centered which must make them crazy sometimes, because a lot of students don't have time to do any studying, or don't buy or read the course resources. This semester I am trying a service learning project. It's a lot of work but I look forward to the experience it provides to learn more about our own community.
