Really beautiful cactus gardens!!! Free parking. Every Saturday till 11am there's a farmers market. Clean bathrooms located in the parking lot. However, no toilet paper today so maybe have some with you.

This is the only way I can say anything about the cactus garden at this school and I feel like people need to know it's there. They have built the most amazing cactus garden that I have ever seen. When I seen this garden from across the street on my way to the diamond head hiking trail I knew I was going to have to stop on my way back. It's truly a beautiful thing to behold some how they took mother nature's most hostile plants and made them into a amazing beautiful place to visit.

Bus #2 & #23 travel East from Waikiki and stop at Diamond Head bus stop, walk across the street, beautiful Cactus Garden along campus.

The cactus garden on campus here, is a must see! Do take the time to stop by on your way to the Diamond Head hiking trails. It's beauty will not disappoint. My husband said it looks like you are on a different planet even, particularly next to the big round cacti patch. 🌵

Great view to see the Waikiki diamond head in the restaurant inside of school. Watch for birds coming.

Their cactus & succulent garden is the cutest. Very happy to have accidentally stumbled across it while heading back from Diamond Head.

I am a Senior citizen with several Masters Degrees and a world of experience. I can audit classes at KCC, and have taken several undergrad courses in the past two years with various instructors, all highly recommended. You get out of it what you put in, but I never failed to learn a lot in each class I took. The facilities are very good, and the cafeteria is quite good. The Ka'ikena Restaurant has a great view and a learning atmosphere, so we try to get reservations there at least once each semester. A plus is that we don't have to pay for parking and several city buses stop right at the college The teachers are student-centered which must make them crazy sometimes, because a lot of students don't have time to do any studying, or don't buy or read the course resources. This semester I am trying a service learning project. It's a lot of work but I look forward to the experience it provides to learn more about our own community.
