Kapiti Gateway Motel - Waikanae

After tragic fire experience at home on a Sunday night, we had to relocate family and pets for temporary accommodation. After making contact with the Motel, they were super friendly and accommodating including our dog. The rooms were comfortable, service exceptional and the location ideal and close to shops. Highly recommended

By far the best Motel we have stayed in! This motel exceeded our expectations! Had all the amenities, the room was spotless, daily room service, the staff were awesome & friendly! Awesome location, even has a pool & spa pool, area for the kids to have a play! The list goes on! We will definitely be back & will be letting friends and family know of this piece of paradise! Great Motel and convenient location for a family visit. New Host John friendly and helpful. Unit clean and comfortable. Plenty of TV channels. |We will definitely be back. There is a pool but we did not use it. Parking outside unit ideal. Main road close but we were not aware of any street noise, |We will definitely be back.

Stayed here with family over the weekend and would highly recommend. This place was awesome! Our room was clean and comfortable. Very trendy body wash shampoo etc. Fast wifi. There is even a laundry/dryer on site you can use using coins. The pool was refreshing and clean . And the children loved the tramp, which was next to a couple of picnic tables so we could relax while they played. Thank you Frances ☺️

I give them a five-star rating without hesitation! Because I had to take the ferry and could not arrive at the hotel until 11pm, I called John in advance. He was very nice and arranged everything very thoughtfully, marking the parking space for me. And you know how warm it is when you drive all day and see someone leave a light on for you! The room was clean and tidy, and I had a good sleep here. Thanks for everything here, I will choose to stay here next time I come to the North Island! Thanks John!

Clean and tidy, great super obliging hosts. We had to change dates and no problem to do what they could to make our stay easy

Arrived late at night .. lights and heater left on in our room for us. Very friendly and welcoming hosts who were very attentive to our needs🙂. The room had everything we wanted [and more] .. good array of teas and coffee, hand wash shampoo & conditioner provided, and towels changed daily. Very high standards of cleanliness! Would definitely recommend, and would come back again.

After driving 7 hours to our previous stay that fell through, we were recommended this place over the long weekend. The staff were amazing and were able to fit us in last minute to closing time. My partner and I very much enjoyed it, was super cozy. The Heaters were on making for a lovely warm room, lovely atmosphere. We cannot recommend this place enough that we will be coming back.
