Food was good, the prices a bit above average. However the waitresses were not too attentive. We had to always go inside to get their attention. On top of that, it was a rainy day, no too warm. They have nice covered terrace, with heaters, but despite that they still had places there, we were seated outside on the patio under an umbrella that didn't protect from the rain completely and had no heaters. It seems the terrace is reserved only for the local VIP's. The tourists sit on the patio. It's a pity, because the location in the Gardens of Hoegarden is unique, especially if you come with the children that can play there while you enjoy your food and drinks.

Very friendly service. Really good kitchen made food, not frozen. I had a classic burger for lunch and my boss had the goats cheese salad. Both were excellent meals. Homemade iced tea was very refreshing. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Not child friendly. Unfriendly and greedy. Got charged 2 EUR for an extra plate. Pancakes not served at lunch time. Place is a bit run down and not so clean. Food is basic and priced too much. Bad accessibility.

Very good food with quite big portions. The prices are a bit above average (16-24 EUR for a main course) but that covers the side dishes too, so not very pricey. The staff is helpful and friendly, even when the number of guests started to build up they tried to be (and were) attentive and as fast as possible. The only (minor) strangeness was to receive Hoegaarden bier but on Duvel beermats :). Also, I expected to find all sorts of Hoegaarden products, after all we were in the hometown ('bierdorp') of Hoegaarden. There is a nice park / garden behind the place, very good for a walk or relaxation after (or before) the meal. Highly recommended to visit even when you are very hungry (then, ask for a pasta dish, you will be fully satisfied!)

Went today for a desert and a bier, on all the restaurants I have Been over the past month. This is the ONLY place where the covid measures are fully compliant! Thumbs up to the team! And it is sad that they have to close. The vast majority of the restaurants do either not wear the mask properly or no désinfectant or no distance respected between tables ! The toilets were sparkling! With désinfectant everywhere! And the desserts were very good! We will go back!

It's a little less bang for bucks than some other places in Hoegaarden, but I guess you also pay for the environment and the bouncy castle for the kids. So again, it's very acceptable and it deserves 4 stars.

Good food at great prices. Friendly staff and right next to some very nice public gardens (Toontuinen).

Very pleasant brasserie. Will go for dinner next time, the menu is promising.

Probably the worst location in a wide area. We ate here, and they served us a grey carpaccio ( and not pink or red as you can imagine). Themeat had been out of the fridge for several hours. When we complained, the owners admitted that the food was bad and not healthy, but they still charged us. Stay away!
