I chose Kapok for a staycation for my birthday, and I have only really been disappointed regarding the buffet breakfast. All other aspects of this experience have been amazing.
From the time I chose to book, the customer service has been so excellent I was over the moon excited. I spoke to a customer service representative on the phone (after emailing them and getting very quick responses) who assisted me in booking and thanked me for advising that it was my birthday so he could give me a great room. Leondon, it was an AMAZING room!
There was a lovely card wishing me happy birthday in my room. The check in service was smooth and I have to say that ALL the staff have wonderful customer service. Down to the maintenance staff who spotted us out by the pool in the morning and warmly welcomed us to Kapok and told us to enjoy our stay. As someone who also works in customer service, I was ecstatic with this.
My only issue was with the buffet breakfast, which had very little meat options and the food was cold by 8am (breakfast starts at 6). I would suggest warmers for the eggs & meat.
No other complaints at all! Room was extremely clean, neatly made and the bathroom was stocked with towels and soap.
