Kapok Hotel

We had planned to stay in the Hilton however they were fully booked, a family member had stayed here and recommended it to us. And we are so glad they did! |What a beautiful, charming hotel, right in the centre of Port of Spain. |It can get a little noisy at the front of the hotel however we moved to the back of the hotel with view across the pool area and back of the hotel. We slept fine and found it fantastic. |The room was clean and tidy, the balcony was large and the views were ok. |The location was amazing, the restaurants in the hotel were lovely. |The reception staff really made this experience pleasurable and we will be back. |Room service was great after a long day of being around family! |We will definitely be back!

The Kapok is a really comfortable hotel, centrally located and easy to find. The rooms were really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was generous, varied and always freshly cooked. We used the pool daily, it was a great size and very clean. The two restaurants Kava and Tiki Lounge both had a good menu selection and food and drinks were excellent.

KAPOK HOTEL- Trinidad’s hidden gem. From top to bottom, service is par excellence, service staff, maintenance staff, reception staff, such absolute perfection, courteous, friendly, efficient, and me thinking on the first day of my stay that this fantastic customer service was a fluke, but NO, it lasted the full 2 weeks. The wait staff at the Tiki restaurant where we had breakfast needs a mention also, very friendly I would highly recommend this pearl hidden in the hills of Maraval

I stayed at Kapok Hotel recently and had a great experience. The reservation process was easy, and the staff responded quickly to my questions before arrival.||||While I didn’t try the food, I did enjoy the drinks, especially the Blue Moon cocktail. The bar staff was friendly and made it a nice place to unwind in the evenings.||||Overall, the service was warm and professional across the board. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and respectful. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

This is a public commendation of the lobby staff at Kapok Hotel who went out of their way to assist me. I have stayed at Kapok already and it was a positive experience. However the assistance rendered on to me two nights ago is shining testament to their training and good character.

My BF and I always navigate to Kapok because of the staff, they make us feel like we are home away from home and do what they can to make each stay an enjoyable one. The breakfast speaks for itself for quality and taste... The cleanliness and amenities are worthy of praise and I look forward to my next stay even before we leave ... Thank you to the lovely receptionist staff and their hospitable nature...you all are lovely... see you soon... From Vashisht and Rajanie...

I appreciated the overall hospitality and atmosphere. I had an overall good experience. I was disappointed to find that the pool was not operational during my stay. As part of the full service I paid for, I had looked forward to enjoying that amenity, and its unavailability was a letdown.

What a good experience, from the moment in entered, greeted by Kareem. Staff. Amenities, food. Breakfast, yum. Loved the variety . Clean, convenient. Thank you to all the staff, Kareem and Jernece , names that we remembered. Many others to mentioned but could not remember. Cheers. We will certainly advertise your place as a hotel to visit when vacationing. Thank you for the wonderful time.
