Kapow Coffee

Been using the coffee shop for a few years, Steve and the team always look after you. The coffee is really good, with a nice range of teas and the hot chocolate is imense. Good range of lunch time sandwiches and cakes. A very relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of banter with all the team. Multipass!

Leeds is spoilt having not one but two Kapows. The Calls is much loved by local residents, visitors and the staff who work in the offices above the shop. The coffee is always excellent (made locally in Leeds specially for Kapow by the equally amazing Chipp Coffee Co) and the team are always super friendly and welcoming. They also somehow seem to remember the orders of about 300 regulars without skipping a beat! Finally, there’s loads of cakes, pastries and coffee beans for sale on top of the hot and cold drinks. Really can’t recommend Kapow highly enough, thanks for everything you do you lovely lot. The neighbourhood would not be the same without you. 💥☕️

Lovely chilled vibe. Great tasting coffee and treats. I had Salted Caramel Latte and Apple and Pecan brownie. The comfy sofa corner by the window was a great place to unwind.

When in Leeds, my family and I always try and visit Kapow Coffee (The Calls) for a warm drink and a sweet treat! There is always such a warm and relaxed atmosphere there where we can just sit and watch the world go by. The staff are always really cheery and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have a pleasant visit! The manager here is always very kind and chatty and you can really tell that he is passionate about his work. He definitely knows his coffees!!=) We will continue to visit Kapow Coffee as it is one of the best in Leeds!

I regularly visit here with my Husband & Grandkids. Lovely place, tucked out of the way, it’s a little gem of a coffee shop. Fabulous coffee & treats. Owner and staff are such a delight & always warm, friendly & accommodating. The grandkids look forward to a visit to Kapow as a treat every time we are in Leeds city. Such a chilled vibe to the place too, please don’t change, we love it here!!

I have been visiting Steve at Kapow for a number of years as the coffee and service is second to none. Steve is so welcoming and he knows everything there is to know about coffee. Kapow is a lovey chilled out space with a great owner and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my caffeine fix

This place is sanity on a weekday!! always supplying the highest quality coffee & bakes, (with a special shout-out to the apple and cinnamon blondies). Generally great craic and very friendly severs! What fab little community 🌞☕

Great atmosphere, the rest of the building is all office space so the cafe has a unique working feel to it. Despite limited space, would recommend working in here, or having your work meetings if you don’t mind the background music, has comfortable sofa corners. It wasn’t that busy when I came on the Friday. However, I find the service mediocre, I was ignored for a couple of minutes when I was standing right in front of the till, the matcha latte I ordered is pretty good though. There are plenty of plugs for seatings siding with the walls, and a password protected wifi.
