Had an unforgettable dinner here on Saturday! We grabbed seats at the sushi bar, and Jimmy took amazing care of us. You can truly see his passion in every dish—each creation was beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The fish? Impossibly fresh. Already counting down the days until our next visit

Honestly, one of the most consistently dependable places (in terms of taste, service, & ambiance) we eat at in Boca Raton. I’ve never been disappointed in Kapow and we eat there regularly. We usually start with the Vietnamese chicken wings (ask the server to make sure they’re extra crispy). The two sauces they serve with the wings are sweet and savory. One of my favorite small dishes is the Avocado Smash Crispy Rice and Tuna Tartare Crispy Rice. The short rib in lettuce bowls is fresh and delicious. No sacrifice of flavor, but healthy and filing. The service is amazing. Staff refolds your napkin when you get up from the table for any reason during the meal. The ambiance is beautiful with red, orange, and pink lighting throughout and on the walls, chill music, and happy customers. Can’t go wrong with Kapow. 💥

We been waiting for 2 days to get here ans they did not disappoint. Our waiver was on point from the very start. Friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered vast array of food and apps and to tell you the truth, everything was amazing and super flavored. Check out all the pics. We all devoured out food with smiles on our faces. Yummy 😋

I can't say enough great things about Kapow Noodle Bar at Mizner Park in Boca Raton and the incredible team that helped make my daughter's bridal shower unforgettable. First, I want to thank Lexi for her timeless dedication and commitment to making the event truly special. She helped me plan this from beginning to end and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Her outstanding crew-Cassidy, Emma and our amazing bartender Cynthia-went above and beyond to deliver incredible service with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The custom cocktails (especially "The Blushing Bride"!) were a huge hit and added such a personal touch. The food was absolutely magnificent! Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was flawless, and the energy and warmth from the staff made everyone feel welcomed and celebrated. A special thank you to Cornelio, the manager, for overseeing everything so seamlessly and making sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you, Lexi, Cornelio, Cassidy, Emma, and Cynthia, for your incredible hospitality and for helping us create such beautiful memories. Highly recommend Kapow!! for any special event. You will not be disappointed!

Google
Kapow is serving up Asian fusion food items. The Peking duck came with a nice display, I just wish the duck was sliced more thinly. The pad Thai was tasty and so were the dumplings. The food was enjoyable and plated creatively. It has a lively vibe.

We had a great experience at Kapow. First, the place has some unique decorations: everything is Asian style but leaning on the Japanese pop culture side (e.g. Anime). There's a projector that keeps showing moving images, very stylish and upbeat (see video). Seating can either be outside or inside. Second, service was great. Third and most importantly - the food was awesome. We had a few different dishes: naruto roll, fried bbq duck, wagyu steak lo mein, ramen, salmon roll, kapow salada, shrimp pad thai, and scallop + shrimp shumai. Everything tasted delicious.

Third time coming to a Kpow and this one here TOPS ALL OF THEM! Most fresh food you can get in Florida, amazing flavour and great portions. Staff is amazing and drinks are to die for!

Google
Checked out Kapow on a random walk in for a few drinks with my wife. We sat at the bar. Bar service was incredible, our bartender Juan was very personable and attentive. He even gave us a tip on a great iced coffee recipe that I'll be taking back home with me. The rest of the staff were also incredibly friendly to us. Atmosphere was great, semi-outdoor but still cool and comfortable. We are in the area a lot to visit family and im looking forward to bringing them with us next time we're in town. Make sure you see Juan and ask him for a cold brew with your meal!

Yelp
I wanted to hate it. It's shiny, new and trendy. But, everything here is so good. The crab wontons, sushi rolls, wagyu gyoza, and Brussels sprouts (someone please talk to the chef about that awful yogurt though) were all amazing. The cocktails are inventive and delicious. Bartenders are attentive, server was friendly and sushi chefs are lightning fast. Overall, it's fantastic and will be back.

Yelp
On a recommendation, my wife and I tried Kapow last night. The place has a great atmosphere and vibe. We really liked the decor inside. The service was good. They were busy, but the server did take care and did a pretty good job of checking on us. He was also very friendly, which made up for the times that he was running around to other tables. We really enjoyed the appetizers and the sushi as we had the crispy rice with tuna, the short rib tacos, and the Miami Heat roll . They were all delicious and had great flavors. The only thing we were not that impressed with was the duck fried rice . The duck on top was delicious and had an amazing flavor. However, the rice was just pretty boring and didn't have much taste. Once the duck was gone, it was just kind of like eating greasy rice . We are definitely going back to this place. We just know next time not to get the duck fried rice. .

Yelp
Our favorite spot to come for appetizers!! We love Kapow!! Love the variety of small appetizers that they offer!! Service is also great!! They offer inside seatings as well as patio and bar seatings. Here are some of the dishes we always order The Hoisin Baby back ribs, the short rib taco, the Bao buns (Karaake fried chicken and the pork belly) wok seared edamame and the spicy tuna crispy rice.

Yelp
We had amazing service at the bar during happy hour and also at a table for dinner. We were a large group and our server was fantastic. Food is very good. There was a DJ spinning tunes at 8pm. We were so happy it wasn't super loud so we didn't have to yell to hear each other. There is free parking in the garages. The bar is inside and outside. Happy hour menu is 5-7 and offers 1/2 price wine, $5 beer and $6 cocktails and bar bites range $5-11.

Yelp
The bartender was lovely and rolling with the punches but I've been eating at Kapow for many years since I lived on the Island right across from the one in West Palm. The ahi tuna tacos were 1/3 the size of what I've been getting for years, rudely small. A laughable amount of food. With tip I paid 24$ for enough food to eat in 3 minutes total. Full price, not happy hour. Also your iced green tea tasted like it came from a fountain, not a fan. I'm not going to come back to this location anymore which sucks because since I go to school down the road this was gonna be my new spot. Oh well.

Yelp
Adding pictures from our from our most recent visit to Kapow over a couple weeks ago. Great food and service as always.

Yelp
It's not that I don't like Kapow anymore, it's just not the same. I miss the old "smaller" location. It was more quaint and nice to sit for a drink at the bar or grab a happy meal or sit at a table and grab dinner in a place where we had great ambiance and we could chat and people watch outside. The new location is tucked away from all the sidewalk traffic so no more people watching and the layout is much larger. It's difficult to get an outside table without a reservation and if you dare eat inside then good luck having a conversation (maybe I'm getting old but it was way too loud for us). With some good news, the food is still great.

Yelp
Delicious food and a great happy hour! The happy hour includes drinks and apps, and my coworkers ordered a bunch! The General Tso's Cauliflower is delicious, and I also ordered the vegetable fried rice, which was just as good! Service is also super friendly!

Yelp
I cannot believe that I have been eating here for years and have not posted a review. This will be short, to leave you time to go to KAPOW as soon as you can, and eat, as opposed to spending too much time reading this review! Bottom line, the VIBE is appealing, even to an old man like myself. The creativity of the art and images on the walls and everywhere you loo,k including table tops and an awesome collection in the men's bathroom. KAPOW has been in Miznerf Park for close to 10 years, and loved to this larger and much more attractive space a few years back. Large outdoor eating, both adjacent to outdoor bar, and their space next to Max's. Wait staff are usually spot on, efficient and pleasant, able to explain the menu if necessary, and follow-up as needed. All are quite young. And the bartenders are also attentive, no matter how busy it gets. And now, the food. Well, I love their special sushi plates, and they recently expanded their sushi offerings exponentially. And have several top notch sushi makers. And they also switched out their executive chef, with more creative offerings. Love their dumplings, the pad thai is good, not like you get in other Asian style places. Their salads are fab, all fresh healthy ingredients, to which you add your protein(s), Their version of Vietnamese chicken wings is unlike any other wings you've had. I could go on and on describing various offeriungs, but you should look at posted pics and check their menu. One point to be made, which while I understand, still find it bothersome. When last there, in January 2025, I noticed several changes in the menu offerings, higher prices, items missing, and smaller portions. When I brought to attention of our server, she looked at me and said "WELL, WE CHANGED OUR MENU WHEN SEASON STARTED..." And I looked at her and stated "SO, YOU'VE Dropped CERTAIN OFFERINGS, DROPPED OTHERS, AND MADE SOME PORTION SIZES SMALLER?? And see said "yes, its season". I half kidding said, "well, you should ask for driver's license and anyone with a Florinda driver's license should get the other menu...with more offerings and larger portion sizes.

Yelp
It was all great, bao, seared edamamme, etc. We went a bit between meal times so it was easy to get a table and service was great

Yelp
Totally enjoyed!!! So I've been meaning to check out Mizner Park for a while now & finally went. There's some really cute shops & a lot of places to eat. But this place caught my attention & im so glad we went!! The atmosphere, the decor, service & of course the food all on point. The only thing when it's sunny don't sit outside for it's hot as hell!! We had a dog with us so we didn't sit inside, also Mngr of the restaurant "not a happy camper" but we didn't care! Def will be back & sit inside!

Yelp
My wife and I went out for dinner on June 9th and were extremely pleased by the quality of food at Ka Pow. Every item we consumed was full of flavor and made perfectly. My favorite was chicken wings (not pictured) and the sauce. In fact it was so good that I decided to place two orders. Although I do not remember the waitresses name she deserves commendation because she presented us with phenomenal service. The location is extremely nice as well with other restaurants nearby and the ambiance was perfect. We will return soon.

Yelp
Good stuff here, no jokes. Great concept, cool vibes, great service, deelish on the food, hell yeah. We had a group of 4, tried a variety of apps & mains. All yummy. We were hungry too, and the food was good. Not gonna lie. Drinks were kinda okay, feel like all mixed drinks just are like superrr weak to me for some reason. I'm like, can i get a alcohol in there, like a double is a single ya know? And i honestly rarely drink. BL/UF; this place is good. Go check it out y'all. Happy eating!!

Yelp
Bartender Juan and Manager Shelly were the best part of the experience! And the Wok charred edamame is to die for. Very unique look inside and outdoor seating. Drinks were very good as well. One of my new go-tos in Boca.

Yelp
My family and I were there for a private event. I'm going to cut to the chase. My family and I decided to order food outside of what was set out for the event and ended up sitting near the event in the outside area. We were pretty much finishing our meal and the little girl with the nose piercing came by to ask if we were part of the private event and when we confirmed proceeded to tell us to stay within the confines of the private event because they had reservations for that booth. Forty five minutes later that booth was still unoccupied. After a sh*tty delivery like that, maybe her job should go "Kapow!" SMH Learn how to speak to customers. Food was pretty good. 4.5 / 5 Service even for a private event was ehh. Doubt if I'd go back. What a shame.

Yelp
Family in town, so had to take them to Mizner Park in Boca Raton. Of course, we then stopped at Kapow for a bit. Cassidy was our server; so friendly and funny. The ambiance was nice; not too crowded and noisy, even though it was season. We ordered some appetizers; suishi and pot stickers. Yum. Main dish was salmon along with red wine. The food was fantastic, as usual. I can't say enough about the staff, especially our waitress, Cassidy. You were rocking that night. Will be back soon.

Yelp
Food tastes good but no way for the money. $26 for a Poke Bowl? for real? I was willing to pay $20 but cannot justify the price. everything there in my opinion is overpriced by $6-$10 I'm not coming back.

Yelp
It's been about 4 months since we frequented Kapow but we finally made our way back to this very good restaurant. It's located in the upscale Boca Raton Mizner Park who's is an upscale plaza with lots of boutique stores and several restaurants with various genre. Now we are in Season and it's particularly busy and crowded. Traffic is an understatement. There is valet parking and the line is long so I found parking in one of the 4 free lots on both ends of the Plaza. I always drop my husband off in front to make it easy for him as I find parking. But honestly, it is chaotic. We were very happy to once again sit on the patio. You could hear great music in the air. It's also fun to people watch and last night you could view the planets lining up. Nick was our fabulous waiter. Wow was he efficient and knowledgeable with the menus. The drinks are incredible. So hard to choose but we agreed in the lychee martinis and that was a great choice. I get that a lot from other restaurants, but the bartender made it the best here. Another great option here is their sushi menu. We agreed on the rainbow roll. Again, it was the best one we ever had. We only ordered that one at a competitive restaurant last week and there was no comparison. Nick made some great recommendations based on what he liked. We each ordered one of their rice and noodle entrees. Paul had the duck and I had the Chow fun with the various mushrooms. Both were outstanding. Unfortunately their coffee machines were out of order and the new machines were on order, but we still ordered the Thai donuts which were made to order and were delicious. There were 5 to the order with a vanilla sauce and a raspberry sauce. All dishes were hearty and filling. I am highly recommending Kapow to anyone interested in fabulous sushi/Asian fare with a venue located in the heart of Boca with a cool vibe.

Yelp
Definitely an amazing experience overall. The food selection is impressive along with the taste. The food here is yummy. I had salmon bombs and my friend some sort noodles with chicken. It was all very tasty They have a large variety of beers and cocktails to choose from. We had the old fashion in the karaoke room - it was good The service was on point, from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The staff was very attentive to us. We'll be back!

Yelp
I stopped in to take a load off from the work week late night on a Friday. I would say around 10:45 PM in which I had set a reservation for. Parking was fairly easy and when I got into the restaurant, it still had a good amount of people left in there. I chose this place because they were open late. After being seated service was very slow. I had time to look around the place and noticed that it was a nice looking establishment. I loved the inside decor. Me and my friend both ordered the lavender blueberry Mojito I didn't taste much alcohol in mine so I ended up ordering a passionfruit Mojito second, which seem to be a little stronger. My main reason for coming was wanting to try the lobster Rangoon, but they didn't have it. So I ended up trying the avocado crispy rice, which I enjoyed a lot.. I also ordered the cauliflower which I thought would be fried, but it seemed like it was steamed with sauce on it and I didn't like it. It was just too wet and soft. I wanted a little crunch. Lastly, I ordered the lobster lo mein. Which had great flavor the pieces of fried lobster on it were a bit chewy though. It could be the time of day that I went, so I may go back one day earlier in the day.

Yelp
Haven't been here since they moved and I must say the new location is beautiful. Kapow is a trendy restaurant inside of Mizner Park. Every time I've been there the service has been great and last night was no different. Plenty of inside seating and when the weather gets a little cooler it will be nice to sit outside. The menu has a nice assortment of Korean, Thai, Chinese and Japanese. Edamame is to die for. It's char-grilled on the outside and tossed in a soy ginger marinade . I could have eaten 2 bowls, th9ey were just that good! Nice Happy Hour. Discounted drinks and light bites from 4- 7.

Sana R.

Yelp
The food was very good. Super flavorful and tasty. The staff were very nice. Only issue is that we had a reservation at 7:30 but got seated at 8pm. And some of the food took a while to come out. Again other than that I highly recommend. Fun music and great atmosphere.

Yelp
I joined two friends for dinner here on a Thursday night. Was surprised to hear they have the happy hour at tables not just at the bar. I ordered the brussel sprouts and the Ahi Tuna tacos from the happy hour menu. Both were very good, I especially liked the brussel sprouts. My friend ordered the roasted cauliflower and the short rib tacos. The cauliflower had a little bit of spiciness to it, was very tasty. The service was good. I will definitely come back here to try other dishes.
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
The food was ok, the donuts were amazing! The staff were super nice and patient ,I think they deserve a medal. The music and vibe made me feel so relaxed, like I didn't want to leave. Definitely a dinner worth enjoying!

Yelp
The time between the last time I went to the Boca Kapow location at Mizner and the most recent time was much longer than I realized. They switched locations at Mizner and the recent space is substantially larger than the original, more stylish with flashy colorful pan-Asian design and upper ceiling visual screens and much improved menu. Cocktails such as the Hi Hi Gin Gin, Yamazaki Swinger highball and What's New Pussycat are all fire drinks that radiate synergy. The gin and tonic with gunpowder drumshambo is girthy and gargantuan in flavor and excellence. For food, you can't go wrong with Gupta tacos with ahi tuna, grilled oysters, and shrimp pad Thai. The latter two are gluten free and full of terrific taste: savory, rich, and satisfying. If you have room for dessert, their tortured pineapple will satisfy and satiate without put you over the top. Like a pineapple brûlée and not heavy. While they were late with our reservation, because we wanted to sit inside and people were still finishing their meals, they provided us with complimentary cocktails, which we gladly accepted. If you want to know when to best show up, happy hour before 6 pm or dinner inside after 8:30 pm. Outside patio seating tends to become available during peak hours sooner. But you won't leave hungry.

Yelp
I visited on 4/14/2025. The atmosphere is excellent, the service was spot-on, and the food tasted pretty good. The portions were a bit sparse. However, the prices are outrageous. I acknowledge that it is a ritzy restaurant in Mizner Park so this is far from shocking, but you can get the same food and bigger portions at Pei Wei or another random chinese food restaurant at a fraction of the price. In sum, if you want a special night out or date night at a ritzy restaurant this is good, but to me 'the juice is NOT worth the squeeze' from a financial perspective.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is amazing as always I love coming here to eat and talk with friends as the atmosphere is really cool with the art and decor making it a fun meal. The service was bumpy at the beginning but our waiter was amazing and helpful. Will recommend and be going back.

Yelp
Newly renovated and now with an omakase experience, Kapow has really upped its game. I came in with poor expectations but was very pleasantly surprised. It started with a nice phone call from Nick the chef to check in on my allergies and preferences. Very personal service. Then when my friend and I arrived, he remembered my name. We started with a nice cup of cold sake. The only sad part about the experience is that not everyone at the bar is having omakase and because the rest of the restaurant is regular dining, it is quite loud and you're not fully able to talk with the chef intimately. Nick definitely tried to explain each piece and I like to take notes so here are the 8 piece omakase nigiri pieces we got to try. Branzini with homemade 5 month aged soy sauce Shima aji (striped jack) with grated daikon & yuzu juice Hotate (scallop) with truffle kosho pepper caviar Hirame (fluke) torched sweet onion sauce Hamachi (yellowtail) belly with truffle balsamic pearls Salmon belly from Denmark torched with miso lemongrass pickled ginger Akami (lean tuna) with 24k gold & yuzu caramel black garlic balsamic vinegar Chutoro (fatty tuna) torched topped with foie gras with truffle and brown sugar **MY FAVORITE Bonus piece: Salmon belly raw with yuzu ginger vinegarette Then to end the lovely experience, we had the ube creme dessert. It was light, fluffy, semi sweet and amazing. Will definitely be back for more omakase!

Yelp
I thought Kapow Noodle Bar was quite good. I like the lively, colorful atmosphere inside and they also have an outdoor seating area. Seating-wise, they have many close-together tables, booths, a cocktail bar, a sushi bar area, and outdoor seating. I took some pictures and you can see that they have a very cool moving digital mural and a cart parked outside. The food was excellent as Asian fusion goes. It reminded me of Hawker's, which IMHO is slightly better (I'm referring to one in Delray Beach). The chilled cucumber salad was excellent, probably our favorite dish of the evening. We enjoyed the blistered shishito peppers which were nicely charred and the edamame which had drizzled over it a brown sauce. The char sui pork belly was delicious, too. For entrees, we had the Vietnamese chicken wings and the spicy beef basil which I would order again (and it wasn't that spicy). They also serve sushi. Last but not least, the espresso martini was well done and the Soto sake very refreshing. Our server was quite attentive and gave us good advice - on what to order, not on life.

Yelp
Checked out Kapow with a few friends last night. The ambiance is amazing. Great decor. The menu has a lot of good options. We got the bbq duck, shrimp and scallop dim sum and wagu dim sum. Everything was delicious! Shout out to Brandon aka mark for good service. If you're in the area and like Asian fusion, go check out KaPow!

Yelp
I wanted to update my review as Kapow has now expanded and relocated across the street. I was surprised at how big it is inside! They even have private rooms. I made an omakase reservation and I was so impressed with everything. I came here with low expectations as I was imagining the old suite they had. I loved every bite of my food tonight. This is the true definition of good food. The staff checked with via phone ahead of time to see if I had prior allergies. I arrived and was seated at a sushi bar immediately. I was even surprised they had a sushi bar. Don't believe the old restaurant had one. My omakase experience was guided by Nick. Great guy! Explained everything. Created everything in front of us and followed up to see if we had feedback. He created MASTERPIECES. I can not rave enough about the omakase I had tonight. 8 pieces, sake and dessert for $85. Will be back ASAP.

Yelp
Food was very good. Wagu LoMein was a little saucy but had a lot of flavor. Restaurant had a great and lively vibe.

Yelp
Chill ambiance. Decor is fun! Service was great. Went on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm. Food was nice & fresh. Nothing to rave about but again I didn't get something too special since I'm cutting for my wedding. Would have to go again and get more fun foods to try. Had the Roasted chicken Asian cabbage salad- dressing was so good!

Yelp
Read this review to the end! I was really disappointed with my experience here today when I came for a late lunch with my wife and three kids. I had heard so many good things about this place and was excited to try it out! I called twice to make a reservation, but the AI operator transferred me to the host both times, and no one picked up. My calls were dropped, which was frustrating. Despite that, we decided to try our luck and show up anyway. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told there were no available tables--even though the entire dining area was completely empty. Every single table was apparently reserved for dinner at 5 p.m., and we arrived at 4:40 p.m. They offered us seating outside, but since it was chilly and my kids weren't dressed for the weather, that wasn't an option for us. Eventually, we were seated in the lounge area, which has low couches and small tables--clearly meant for drinks, not meals. It was not a comfortable setup for a family with three kids. To be fair, the service was excellent, and the food was just as delicious as we'd hoped. We tipped generously (over 30%) because we didn't want to be rude. However, we stayed for about 45 minutes, and as we left, the dining area was still empty, with only one table set for guests. This experience was disappointing and uncomfortable for my family. I'm not writing this to discourage anyone from visiting, but rather to point out something the management should address. You have a beautiful space and amazing food--don't let issues like this detract from the overall experience for your customers.

Yelp
Good ramen and quick service make this small ramen joint a good choice if nearby. The prices are Miami reasonable meaning higher than you'd expect in rural areas but in line with everything else nearby.

Yelp
trashy has never been so expensive. the place is littered with AI art. my friends warned me but i desperately wanted a G&T; ended up getting a G&W (gin and water), not by choice. We were hungry but decided against ordering food. not to sound like a bitch but my friends and i are well within our means and i certainly know how to spend money; point being I am NOT what you would describe as cheap. i have never not left a generous tip (until tonight) and i love fine dining and trashy local bars all the same. The couple next to us ordered the bao buns, but they were tiny- what... OH. my boyfriend just corrected me those were the TACOS. they looked like miniature bao buns. we were only there for 20 mins but i have never experienced worse service and worse ambiance. WiSh i CoUld lEave zEro StarS *for clarification the waitress got no tip because she ignored up completely, mostly after handing us the bill where we were charged $8 for out $5 DRAFT beers during happy hour (writing this at 6:00 thursday, just left). This had nothing to do with anything else we experienced. For management: normally id never throw a waitress under the bus but she was a bartender and she had crazy RBF(resting b face). she had thinish dark brown hair and a bit of a receding hairline.

Yelp
It's been some time since I have gone back to Kapow! The new location is really cool! Love the ambiance! Went for an early bday dinner, and it was happy hour! I got the blueberry lavender mojito which was actually good! A bunch of apps: Edamame(amazing), fried dumplings(just alright), tuna crispy rice(good), and chilled cucumber salad(delicious). Chicken Lo mein is a favorite for my dad and his gf. My bf got the duck fried rice and loved it. I did the regular chicken fried rice. Honestly, it was good but have had better. The service was slow, and it wasn't super busy when we went. Took forever to get refills and some soy sauce. Either way, I would definitely go back for happy hour apps!

Yelp
Wow! The assistant general manager followed up on this review, apologized and made it right. Very impressed with management and how they handled this.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday without reservations around 8:30 and was sat relatively quickly. The restaurant inside is incredibly loud (not sure if it's quieter esrlier in the evening) and pretty challenging to hold a conversation. The outside space was much quieter, however a lot of competing noise from surrounding restaurants. The menu is vast, and the dishes are great the share. I highly recommend the shrimp shumai - super flavorful and big pieces of shrimp. I also recommend the cabbage salad, light and crisp with a ton of flavorful. My husband and I got about 4 dishes to share between 2 people, which was probably overkill. Definitly recommend coming to try their food.

Yelp
Kapow Noodle Bar in Mizner Park is a fantastic lunch spot that perfectly balances simplicity, affordability, and flavor. The lunch menu at Kapow Noodle Bar is a testament to the idea that simplicity can be satisfying. I built my own bento box with Asian Greens, Orange Chili Chicken and Brussel Sprouts.

Yelp
I've been coming to Kapow for 8 years, so I hate writing this review. This was my first visit to their new larger location, which is amazing! The decor is awesome, and I especially love the projected artwork that changes throughout your meal. The indoor/out vibe space is perfect for South Florida. They also have new karaoke rooms, which could be a cool experience. Unfortunately, our experience today was so disappointing. We arrived at 1:30 on a rainy Saturday, so there were plenty of open tables. The hostess said she would be right back to seat us, and five minutes later, she hadn't returned. We ended up seating ourselves at the bar. The one bartender was friendly and did his best, but he was overwhelmed and struggling to keep up with everything. I ordered the duck hash, which was very average--a bit greasy and a few giant pieces of inedible fat. But husband had the skirt steak lo mein, and the steak had zero flavor. However, what really shocked me was the bathrooms, which were absolutely filthy. One of the two toilet seats was falling off, and the toilets were disgusting. That is something I expect in a gas station, not a restaurant. I don't think I will be returning to Kapow anytime soon :(

Yelp
Came in for brunch on Saturday afternoon. Sat outside and enjoyed dining in their patio area. The Viet Coffee and Sakura roll were our favorite items ordered. Service was a bit slow due to a couple large parties indoors. Overall we enjoyed the brunch at Kapow.

Yelp
The service here was excellent! All of our plates were tasty! We loved the big tiki drink bowl, it was super strong. We came for happy hour and got some small plates. The edamame was amazing, the wagyu beef potstickers were so good I drank the sauce. The ambiance here in this new location is awesome! I love the way they decorated. The mushroom chow fun was delicious. The nigiri blew me away it had so much flavor, I didn't even know they had nigiri. This spot will impress your friends, it's so fun.

Yelp
Service is always great--from the bartenders to the waitstaff. Super courteous!! Drinks are the best (of course I always get the same things) and the food --no matter what I order--is delicious 90% of the time. The other 10% they'll make it right for you! Also a fun environment--lively every night.

Yelp
I don't know where these horrible new DJs think they are--this isn't south beach. They are now so loud and obnoxious they ruin the atmosphere for sitting outside at the surrounding restaurants.

Yelp
I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I miss the old location.... Understandable that the newer location is larger and can seat a lot more people... and now they can better handle larger groups (large tables) and plenty of inside seating so you don't have to suffer through those summer months outside (sweating and all)... But I liked the atmosphere of "not" being over the top and pretty simple... great sidewalk tables that made people watching rather interesting. Then again, this new, larger spot has some solid selling points too.... The interior is rather nice (colorful with hip decor but not obnoxious enough that my gramps would be rushing to get away). The food is still excellent; we tend to order a lot of appetizers and entrees for everyone to share... some of our favorites are: *** GENERAL TSO'S CAULIFLOWER (shallots and sweet chili sauce) *** BRUSSEL SPROUTS (yuzu honey ginger yogurt and eel sauce) *** WOK CHARRED EDAMAME (garlic soy and ginger) *** TUNA TAR TAR CRISPY RICE (just as it sounds) *** MUSHROOM BAO BUN (roasted king shiitake mushroom with pickled veggies and a cream sauce) *** FIVE VEGGIE FRIED RICE (rice wit 5 veggies, duh) *** SHRIMP PAD THAI We've had many other dishes; even had a few that we didn't love (which I'm not going to share the names). A couple dishes are not my favorites but they do deserve an honorable mention, such as: MUSHROOM & CARROT DUMPLINGS (bland)... HOISIN BBQ BABY BACK RIBS (just way too sweet)... VIETNAMESE CHICKEN WINGS (interesting dish and decent dips) To round out my review at this point is (1) rather good food and (2) great decor... But now to share my disappointments, (1) this last Friday night, they had a DJ BLASTING the music inside the dining room AND would not give us an outdoor table for our 9PM reservation. I get that we didn't specify an outside table for the reservation but we never had the music BLASTING all night in the past so we didn't know to make that request. Hate having dinner where we can't have a conversation... and the other disappointment, (2) service is always hit or miss (very inconsistent...

Yelp
This location does not miss! Went to Kapow last night with the girls and Katie the bartender was amazing! So energetic, friendly and attentive! Short rib tacos are so tasty and came out hot! The lychee martinis were great and you can't go wrong with half price off bottles of wine

Yelp
Very cool interior decoration. The top strip inside the restaurant is projected animation with movement and flower. It look beautiful and grab attention to the customer. The neon light definitely add the colorful side of the display. The table is full of Japanese cartoons drawing. We were here for the appetizers and enjoyed the ambience. We started with crispy calamari. It has peanuts and Asian sauce. Very nicely crispy coating. The second dish is their signature crispy rice with tuna tartare. The tuna was fresh and good. The rice crispy is fried and accompanied the tuna. This Asian fusion with good gimmicks. Service is good. Food price is in the high side.
