I am so grateful for the gluten free Thai food. I haven't had it in years since I was diagnosed with celiac disease. It was delicious, thank you! It is safe for us.

Google
Ordered takeout. Delivery was quick. Got chicken pad Thai. Noodles were unfortunately quite clumped together. Sauce lacked flavor or spice. They did give free chicken spring rolls with our takeout order and that was delicious and flavorful. Accommodated gluten allergy

Google
Best Thai food I've had in a long time, and I have it often. DELICIOUS yellow curry. Homemade teas. Gluten free. Highly recommend!

Google
|| GLUTEN FREE || Great food for coeliacs, cosy restaurant, good service. The Pad Thai, Green Curry and Mango Stick Rice was yum 🙌🏼

Google
Food is a 10/10. I think it's arguably the best Thai food ive had outside of Thailand. Feels great to not think about being glutened.

Google
I paid 14€ for the Bo bun thaï vegan and it was very good. The tofu was very deliciously marinated as well. Staff was friedly. Unfortunately, no terasse or tables outside. Singha beer in bottes. Vegan options clearly labelled.

Google
Picked up a takeaway from here as I have coeliac disease so wanted somewhere that was guaranteed gluten free. The portions are huge for the price, good variety of food.

My new favourite spot for when I visit Paris , the lovely women that was able to accommodate my friends and I just before the kitchen closed, made our trip as the chef was amazing and also super friendly you can tell that the staff here care and put a lot of love into the food, thank you, thank you, thank you! See you when I come back to paris, I had the tofu yellow curry with sticky rice and mango sticky rice for dessert it was delicious beyond words

Yelp
100% gluten free which is a nice treat, but my non gf friend loved it as well! Small restaurant with relatively limited seating. I enjoyed the chicken pad Thai and would definitely recommend! Service was good and our waitress was very understanding of the menu.

Yelp
Delicious vegan Thai dishes in a great small spot in central Paris. The restaurant is rather small and packed, so be prepared to wait if you go there. Not sure if they have reservations or not. Also, they only had one server/bartender for the whole place, so it is not a restaurant where you can be impatient. The dishes, however, were delicious.

Yelp
If you gotta go gluten free, this is a great option. Quick friendly service and fresh looking and tasting food. 3 of us, and we all enjoyed our meals and one celiac with us with no stomach issues-

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I noticed the place as I was walking to my Airbnb. The food was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is small with only a few tables so make sure you make reservations in advance.

Yelp
Thankfully stumbled upon Kapunka when walking around and overall, a solid lunch meal. Ambiance is nice, but the spot is very small. Staff was overall very friendly and able to answer all the questions we had. As for the menu, standard Thai affair with a small Parisian twist on it. We kept it simple with Pad Thai, Ice Coffee, and some spring rolls. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, quality and quantity was on point, so no complaints in that department. As for pricing, very reasonable, especially for lunch. Was a happy camper!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious hidden gem A bit small & accessing their wifi was impossible Small menu but my choices were STELLAR

Yelp
If you are visiting from Los Angeles or NYC (any major US city, really) skip it. Trust me. You will cry over the blandness of this food. Even the Thai iced tea tasted like just plain milk. The yellow curry had zero salt. The green papaya salad? Like shredded raw papaya in a bowl...with zero flavor. It was truly the saddest Thai food we have ever had. Yes, I know, it's gluten free and that seems exciting for us celiacs, but it was such a disappointment. I will add a star just for being gluten free though and because we didn't get sick.

Yelp
Definitely a place to come back to. The dishes are amazing. Its a small menu but so satisfying. I think it changes but we had the massaman curry, green curry , poke bowl and the aubergine salad. Not all at once, of course we went back after. Yummy! And the vegan wine, sauvignon was so tasty . The server was such a nice guy .. I would definitely be back and Recommend all vegans or not to try this place out ..it does get busy fast so shownup early or late .

Yelp
Unfortunately this establishment missed the mark all around. We came for GF Thai food and that's about all they had going for them. The service was borderline shocking. We seemed to be an inconvenience. The place is as big as a large closet, which I understand but just know what to expect when you go. We were almost IN the bathroom. The food was bland, a complete waste of time and money.

Yelp
Service was fast and food was fantastic! Often hard to get both in Paris. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Just really yum simple affordable thai food. We had curry, pad thai, and basil fried chicken and each dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the flavors were just right. It's hard to find the name of the restaurant in the street but perhaps they will have a bigger sign soon. You have a choice of high or low tables despite the small space. The staff is super friendly and extremely efficient. I didn't have to ask for a water refill once. Skip the deserts, nothing out of this world to mention here.

Yelp
Very good food! Gluten free pad thai was great! Plenty of good to fill you up. They also deliver and have pickup options as well

Yelp
I happened upon Kapunka, during a self-guided tour of the covered passages of Paris & am glad I did. As a vegetarian, dining out in Paris can sometimes pose a challenge, but Kapunka's was among the best vegetarian pad thai I've ever had! The thai iced tea & wine were also very good. The waiter was patient with my mediocre French, also. I had a kind of late lunch, so was able to avoid the crowds, but I walked by, later in the evening, & it was understandably packed.

Yelp
We ate at Kapunka for dinner during our stay in Paris. We ate a bit earlier than most people so there were only a couple other groups in the restaurant at the same time. They had a menu in English which made ordering easier. I opted for the green curry chicken and a Thai iced tea with almond milk (other option was soy milk). I'd never had a Thai iced tea with almond milk before and I'm not sure it's my new favorite way to have it. My husband had fried rice. I normally love Thai food and my husband tolerates it because he knows how much I like it but in this case, I think he enjoyed his food more than I enjoyed mine. It wasn't bad but I've had better. 3 stars.

Yelp
Great little Thai restaurant in Paris. Very authentic! 10/10 would recommend. If you're in Paris and in the mood for something a little out of the ordinary, this place is it.

Yelp
We went off of other recommendations and, sadly, I can't say we had a good experience. Both the food and service were below par. Pad Thai is our go-to first order at any Thai restaurant. I had Pad Thai shrimp with green papaya salad and hot tea. My companion had vegan Pad Thai with summer rolls. The papaya salad was definitely made ahead as the dressing had soaked into the papaya and it was limp. Flavor was fine, but that texture was terrible. The shrimp in my Pad Thai were on the cool side on temp and the noodles were very juicy and overcooked. Again, due to presentation -all of the chili pepper was on the side- gave away that these noodles were also made ahead (fast-food style if I ever saw it). So, to speed production they have sacrificed texture and the full flavor experience. As to service, very pleasant until the lady in charge felt the door should be propped open- behind my companion's chair. Okay, stood up to comply. Then the table next to us had to go. Up again to comply. Wait- now another server wants the door closed to accommodate someone else. Yup, up for a third time! Delete that table or quit forcing guests to play this game. Could not wait to finish our mediocre meals and get out. Disappointing.

Yelp
Best Thai in Paris in my opinion. Try the Mikati!! Little space of course but cute. Treat yourself with the wonders of traditional Thai food implemented by French cooks. It's amazing!!!

Yelp
This place was awesome! Service was great and fast, the workers were very accommodating to English speakers and they even had menus in English. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a labeled "vegan pad Thai" on the menu. It was delicious, large serving size, had tons of veggies and was very filling. Would definitely recommend this place to any traveling vegans and non-vegans alike!

Yelp
With the thought of leaving Paris, I think I might be most sad about leaving Kapunka. THAT is how great this place is. I admit, since finding out about this 100% gluten free Thai restaurant I might have come to the two locations too often. Pretty sure they started to recognize me at both. Whoops! But since I heard the Palais Royal location is closing soon in favor of a new location, I thought it due justice to write a review for the location near Rue Montorgueil. It's the same food, with a slightly smaller menu. Pad Thai, fried rice, curry, and more yummy Thai food. Bonus: dinner prices are the same as at lunch, unlike the other location which upcharges about 2€ per dish. Also, it's maybe 30 seconds away from the Sentier métro stop. Talk about convenient -- it's basically impossible to get lost finding this restaurant! The people who work there are super nice and they all speak perfect English for the visiting tourists :) But the bummer is somehow the food just isn't quite as good. A friend figured out the key is to ask for it with more heat, or "piment." But why should I have to ask for my food to be amazing? Shouldn't it already be like that? Or maybe I'm just a weirdo and have gotten on a spicy food kick lately. It's not bad; it just doesn't make me want to dance around like the other location. Nevertheless, go to Kapunka. You'll have the most amazing Thai food of your life. And Kapunka, if you guys want to open up a restaurant in the U.S. I'd be ecstatic.

Yelp
My wife and I found this place on yelp and with good reviews and gluten free options we gave it a try, and are very glad we did! We shared the veggie spring rolls and each had a plate of chicken pad Thai. The rolls were very good with a hint of mint, and the pad Thai was the best I've had! It is a generous portion and has a sweetness to it. The owner travels to Thailand regularly and has brought back that authenticity! There are not many gluten free options in Paris yet but this is a good option for those with a gluten (celiac) allergy. The place is cozy and has a nice ambiance!

Yelp
Delicious Thai food. I rarely leave reviews but this warrants the time. We are from California with many great Thai options. This is one of the best Thai restaurants in which I've eaten. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Best Thai food! I have a lot of Thai food in my day lol and trying Thai in France for the first time, I was skeptical but oh my gosh! It was amazing! The papaya salad, tom kha kai soup, pad Thai and the basil chicken were what we ordered! The service was great! It's a small place so might have to wait but we got right in! They waiters spoke English too!

Yelp
Food: we had the vegetarian Pad thai and it was delicious! I'm a big eater and it was enough. Ambiance: nice and relaxed. Service: the waitress was sweet and even offered us a fruit salad. We definitely recommend it.

Yelp
The krai pad thai (basically wrapped in an egg omelet) is very fun. I like tons of egg in my pad thai so this was right up my alley. The pad thai itself is solid. The green curry was simply amazing. It's very watery which initially turned me off, but it was absolutely delicious. Drank every single drop.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. The Pad Thai is around 13-15€ but absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are great and the waitstaff are incredibly friendly. I will be going back très bientôt!

Yelp
Terrific Thai food in a great location. Rally enjoyed the Pad Thai, the curry and other dishes. Can't say enough good things. (And it is a dedicated gluten free facility, safe for Celiacs.)

Yelp
Best Thai food I've had in Paris. Cute small restaurant with delicious meals. I got the shrimp pad thai wrapped in an omelette and ordered it extra spicy. i'm usually picky about my pad thai - I hate the overly saucy and sweet sauce but this was perfection. highly recommend if you're looking for good thai food in Paris. it's also in a cute neighborhood with a ton of bars around including The Experimental Cocktail Bar, which i highly recommend.

Yelp
Great for people who have Celiacs since all food is gluten free (sans gluten). Even has a gluten free beer. Good was great.

Yelp
A great find on a small street in a lively area when we needed a break from all the bread and cheese. Well prepared food served quickly. Our vegetarian kids honestly loved the Pad Thai and fried rice. Our yellow curry chicken was tasty, but did not have the potatoes we usually get in the US. Soft summer rolls were good, not the best ever. Friendly service. A small space - a few 4tops, not suitable for bigger groups. We're not gluten free, but didn't miss the gluten, either!

Joseph S.

Yelp
Ordered take-out vegetarian daily special and arrived home to discover a chicken curry in my brown bag. Called back the restaurant, they did not offer to deliver a new meal. Instead I had to return to the restaurant to "exchange" my take away. No apologetic token offered by employees. Vege curry was decent, lots of sauce and few vegetables. So overall not worth the price - more flavorful and less expensive Thai options exist in the neighborhood. Will not return.

Yelp
So happy to find this place. Fresh, delicious food at good prices and friendly staff to boot. I only wish I had discovered it when we first came to Paris instead of on our last few days. I had the chicken pad Thai with the omelette and already look forward to another. Nice that it's slightly off the main road too - easy to get to, but less crowds. Look for the K flag - I walked past it twice in the pouring rain and then had to ask a local.
