⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel is extremely clean, and housekeeping did an amazing job—our room was spotless every single day. The staff were all wonderful, especially Alex, who was phenomenal and went above and beyond to help us. The pool was clean and perfect for relaxing. The lobby is a great space if you’re working remotely, studying, or just want some quiet time. The location is excellent—close to everything, and you really don’t need a car to get around. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and breakfast was very affordable for two compared to nearby cafés and restaurants. A couple of downsides: the hotel isn’t fully wheelchair accessible, as some areas are difficult to reach. Also, the placement of the machine in the closet caused items stored there to melt due to heat. Would definitely stay again!

Great motel — honestly, if you stay anywhere else in Mildura, you’re missing out. Recently renovated with a modern, fresh feel. The bed was super comfortable, the pool was great, and the room had free snacks and drinks, a coffee pod machine, and a proper good-quality hair dryer. Big TV too. The staff genuinely went above and beyond with my requests and made sure I had the most comfortable stay possible. I only stayed one night but easily could’ve stayed longer. Close to town, shops, and everything is walking distance. It felt like a 4–5 star experience without the price tag. You can tell they really take pride in the place — the little details and extra effort actually show. Exceeded my expectations by a long way. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here on 27th December 2025. The place has a great vibe; very palm springs with a beautiful pool area. Clearly a good amount of money has been poured into this and the results look great. The room is really nice and clean; comfy bed, modern facilities, but screen TV and a complimentary minibar. What lets this place down a little is the service. Unusual for Aussie hospitality to faulter, but the staff definitely need to up their game. There was little to zero welcoming when we arrived. Just handed our keys and told we need to park the car at the rear lane way, so no secure on-site parking as advertised. There was no description of the amenities and no mention of the welcome drink. The next morning we had a knock on the door at about 9.45am from the reception team. They asked us if we were checking out soon. Check out is at 10am. This felt really weird. Maybe it's a courtesy check but it comes across like we need to hurry, as if guests cant be trusted to check out on time. Lastly, when we took the last of our bags to our car, two of the service staff were sat on the floor in-between cars having their smoko break. Appreciate that staff need their breaks and entitled to have a smoke, but maybe not sat down right between the guests cars. Not a bad stay but didn’t feel very welcome considering the look and vibe of the place.

Whoever runs this place should really familiarise themselves with the meaning of the word "hospitality" given it does not seem to be a priority for them. Booked in a three night stay over Christmas. Rooms were nice and well appointed. Service was best described as "apathetic" - but not bad - up to a point in which our son and grandson were kicked out of the pool. It was around 3pm on Christmas Eve when our son and our 18 month old grandson came to see us and take advantage of the pool on a hot day. We were the only people in the pool enclosure (unsuprising as we didn't see many other guests during our stay). It also looked like we were the first people to use the pool for the day, as we had to set up the umbrellas ourselves. My grandson was having a great time in the water being carried by my son. We did not swim ourselves, but we were with them the entire time they were in the pool - which was all of 10 minutes until the manager informed us that my son and grandson had to leave because they weren't guests. I was gobsmacked - I could understand if the pool was packed - or if the non-guests were a group of loud/rowdy people - or if they were swimming without having people staying at the venue present. Instead, they kicked out an 18-month-old boy and his father who were paddling around up one end of an empty pool for no other reason than it was the policy of the motel. While I'm sure they'll trot out some reason for kicking them out after the fact, they refused to elabourate on why they had to leave other than their "policy". I can understand and accept that venues have certain policies in place about all kinds of things - but those policies are set by the venue, meaning they should be able to exercise common sense and discretion as to when - and to what extent - a policy should be enforced, especially if it's not having an impact on other guests or staff. We complied and left the pool so all of the other guests weren't forced to endure the horror of swimming next to a non-guest - though I didn't see another person for the next hour we were there. With family and now our grandchildren in Mildura, we visit almost every Easter and Christmas. This was our first and last visit to Kar Rama. In future, we will stay somewhere where the focus is on trying to accomodate guests where possible, not the blind application of venue "policy".

This the second time at this hotel it's got everything king size bed that is soft but ferm l haven't woken with a sore back. Tv is a good size fridge is only a fridge and you get freebies of chips and soft drink the room is a good size with plenty of light. The shower is good with great pressure the toilet is a little narrow and it does the job. This place is close to woolies, iga and a short walk to the main restaurants in town. Ohh forgot it has a pool great for summer swimming good size too, very happy with my stay here thanks Kar-Rama

Great hotel, centrally located to dinning and cafes.||The rooms are spacious and comfortable.||The rain shower is good, the bed comfortable.||Upon arrival greeted by the manager who is very friendly and helpful. A great asset to the hotel. Free welcome drinks are provided and the room mini bar is free to use.||The lobby lounge is bright and airy and looks out to pool.

Had a fantastic experience staying at Kar-Rama hotel. The service was lovely with complimentary lemon water, and non-alcoholic drinks on arrival. Checkin and checkout was smooth and easy. The rooms were tidy and loved the 80’s vibe so much. Location was great right on the main road and a short walk to shops, cafes and the Murray river. Will definitely stay here again

Yelp
Older style motel complex, but has been well cared for and maintained. I was happy with my one night here, pool, clean rooms great linen and large fluffy towels. Many undercover park bays for your vehicle, and a few blocks walk to down town. The rates are a winner under $80 per night,4 and a half and would be back if in town again.
