Our recent experience at the Karachi Marriott Hotel was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a hotel of its reputation.
Despite extensive prior coordination with the hotel management regarding our group’s arrival and arrangements, the hotel appeared completely unprepared when we arrived. The check-in process was chaotic and poorly managed. We were taken to a room for check-in where a conference was already in progress, reflecting a serious lack of coordination within the hotel staff. During check-in, we were issued keys to a room that was already occupied by other guests, which was both embarrassing and highly unprofessional.
The parking situation was equally frustrating. The parking area is highly congested and poorly managed, causing significant inconvenience for guests.
The staff’s attitude throughout the stay was largely non-cooperative. On multiple occasions, we requested to speak with a senior manager or person in charge to resolve the issues, but no responsible representative ever came forward to address our concerns.
Additionally, several guests from our group fell ill after consuming food from the hotel restaurant, which raised serious concerns about the quality and hygiene of the food being served.
Overall, the experience reflected poor management, lack of coordination, and inadequate customer service.
