Delicious local food, wonderful place, recommend it with both hands! Would be happy if I have the chance to come back again!

We came here for dinner on Sunday. Service (3 stars) The manager was very nice and set us at a nice table. However the service was bad. The waiter seemed to be hung over, holding his nose by the eyes and leaning on the door half the time. Food (4 stars) We for a village said (large). It came in a soup plate. For 14€ it should have been way bigger. (3 stars) We also got combo grill for 2 people. (4 stars). On the plate everything came in two pieces except the lamb chops which came in a single, and a single pork. When we complained the waiter seemed disinterested and just said that is the way it is. (-1 star) For 36€, 3 of us are and it was more than enough.

The best Meze is served here look no further!! The portions are huge i , recommend to order less than the number of people present. The lamb is out of this world, the pork options are fine and they have fresh fish as a Well. Very highly recommended!

Fantastic restaurant right by the castle. We had the Meze and it was a great selection of meat and other dishes!! Make sure you book as it was busy but the service was very good and we will definitely be back for another visit.

Karatello is one of the best places in Limassol for meze. The variety is great and everything is fresh and tasty. The kleftiko is especially delicious, so tender and full of flavor. To finish, the loukoumades are the perfect sweet treat. Excellent food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, taste and textures. As a vegetarian I believe this is the only place in cyprus that gives so many tasty vegetarian options on their menu. I've ordered vegetarian musakka and it was DELICIOUS. Everything we've ordered had a home made flavor and was tasty Highly recommend

We had a nice meal at Karatelo Tavern! The food was fresh, flavorful, and offered a creative twist on traditional Cypriot dishes without losing their authentic soul. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that perfect mix of cozy and lively. With nice view of the castle. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Limassol

August 2025 Consistently great food over the years. Super soft meat, excellent portion sizes and good quality. August 2023 Still great food - they haven't compromised on quality despite rising costs. Meze was excellent. Staff are hard working and helpful. August 2022 Absolutely delicious. Fresh salad, tender pork chop and flavoursome seftalia. Excellent service.
