This hobby restaurant is located halfway down the tourist Street in Zakopane. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the restaurant is decorated in old Polish style. They even have old Polish folk music playing in the background. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the food is good and the portions are big. I made the mistake of ordering the baked potato pancake with mushroom sauce. I didn’t really like it, and I returned it. It was my fault. I misread the menu. The duck pierogi, the beef burger, and the chicken soup were excellent. If we had more time, we would certainly return. I recommend this restaurant.

Decided to go here off a recommendation by our tour guide. The restaurant was definitely worth it. The oven roasted trout was great, however it is not deboned, and needed a little more salt. The potato I got was pretty big and came with a creamy rich sour cream. The salad was more of a coleslaw with shredded carrots and some cucumber. The restaurant was worth it, and was great value for myself and my wife.

Offers truly tasty, authentic Polish food in a charming setting. However, the live band's breaks were longer than their sets, leading to a somewhat quiet and uneven atmosphere. Worth it for the food, but be prepared for musical pauses.

Very tasty and atmospheric place in a lovely Zakopane Service could be better but maybe it was just a start of the day so they were still sleeping a bit.

Great place, very traditionally fancy. I don't know if this is what local traditional will look like, but the interior is wooden and has an awesome vibe. The food is very good. The taste is quite fresh. the quality of meat my husband had was top-notch. Vegetarian options were pretty good as well. This place is in middle of the happening high street but food is quite reasonable. All in all a good place.

My wife and I visited for lunch. The atmosphere inside was fantastic, and the waiter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I think this is an excellent restaurant to experience authentic Polish local cuisine.

This was our 2nd stop in Zacopane. We chose this place for an actual dinner because it had a line waiting out the door, which is ALWAYS a good sign. I did not look at reviews or anything else, sometimes a place just sings to you and this place had a soprano like an Operatic singer from beginning to end. I cannot imagine where the crescendo ends and begins because this place is buzzing with activity. Hats off to ALL the staff because every single woman, and I say that because I never saw a "male" servant the entire time, for running around up/down the small 2nd level balcony seating with plates o'plenty. I can say this because I had a birds eye view right next to the "fireplace" which is near the staircase. Hands-down, this is the best Pierogi Ruski I have ever had. I even dissected it to see where the flavors began and ended and it looked all the same!! I am floored and in awe of the cook here or "cooks." Thank you. I drove here from Krakow to Zapilnie to Zacopane and we landed here for dinner and you did not disappoint in ANY aspect. Your service - 10 stars Your food and wait time - 10 stars Your flavor and drinks - 11 stars Quite honestly, this is and will always be "my place" to go when I am in Zacopane, now I understand the wait out the door. We passed it once for this reason and kept walking and then we circled back to see if the line was gone. We were asked to wait maybe "2mins" at most at the door and these ladies took great care. During our 2 hour time here, I saw a lot which impressed me. I wish all service met this level. The staff travel up and down stairs with trays all day and they maintain this positive level of service. On top of this, the decor and music is excellent. I adore this place and will be back for Christmas. Dziekuje! Thank you!!!!

ALE PYCHA! Fantastyczne miejsce z jeszcze bardziej fantastycznymi daniami. Mialam rosół z makaronem, pierogi z bryndza, wino grzane, pierś kurczaka z grillowanym jabłkiem i żurawinami, a na koniec buraczki grzane. Napchałam sie na maksa ale cały pobyt czuł się luksusowy! Bardzo bardzo polecam. Świetna kapela i świetni kelnerze! Nie mam wystarczajaco dobrych rzeczy do powiedzenia :) Po angielsku: SO GOOD! Fantastic spot with even more fantastic dining options. I had the rosół, grilled chicken with grilled apple and cranberries, pierogi with bryndza, mulled wine and to finish, warmed beets. I stuffed myself to the max, but the whole experience felt so luxurious! Totally recommend. Fantastic kapela group and even more wonderful waiters! I have more than enough good things to say :)

Awesome mulled beer, really good for a cold day or evening. Good polish cuisine, second time coming here during our trip. Worth a visit, each night they have live polish music. The sheep cheese (oscypek) was salty otherwise everything else was to a good standard.

Great place to visit. Got the potato pancakes with mushroom sauce and they came out super fast on a friday night during the summer and dinner time. Awesome service also I recommend a shot of the "zolontkowa" must try in poland! Na zdrowie! For true "gurale" food come here.

Great place. We were there on Saturday night and they had great Polish music. Tried the mulled beer and it was perfect after a long day hiking.
