Kare No by Sitges Group Apartments

• Value for Money: The room was extremely small and dark, making it feel very claustrophobic. Given the high price point, the quality of the accommodation was significantly below expectations. • Noise Issues: * The soundproofing is very poor; you can hear everything. • There is a bar located right next to the property that is extremely loud late into the night. • Inside the room, the fridge was incredibly noisy and ran constantly, making it difficult to sleep. • Maintenance & Neglect: * The lighting was flickering throughout the entire stay. • The bathroom sink was partially clogged, meaning water would not drain properly. • Note on Staff: I notified the personnel about these issues, but they were completely ignored. No one ever came to perform repairs. • Service & Amenities: I stayed for 6 nights, yet there was no free towel service. Expecting guests to pay extra for clean towels during a week-long stay is unacceptable and greedy. • Overall Experience: Between the lack of maintenance, the noise, and the hidden costs for basic necessities, the stay was very unpleasant. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Location is great - the last street from the beach puts you close to everything but away from the crowds... the street is only one block and acts to join the beach with the upper town/church/museums so everything is very close.||Check-in was with the machine, which turns out not to accept credit cards which don't also use a code. Finally, I used my bank ATM since it uses a code and that worked. ||The manager said it was only an issue for guests from the US and Argentina - so I suggested that they advise guests prior to check-in to avoid the situation. You can also arrange to pay online prior to arrival to avoid this 'panic moment' at check-in. But even if this happens, the manager is easy to reach by phone at any time.||The apartment is great - there was an issue with the lights, since the switch next to the door says 'key card' but it turns out you don't need that (it actually turns everything off) but a fast call to the manager resolved this.||Furnishings, design, bathroom all very nice. Balcony in #4 gives a glimpse of the beach at the end of the street. Some noise from the street but nothing that lasted long. Cava in the fridge was nice welcome. Coffee machine/pods as well to get you started. Basic dishes/glasses (wine glasses didn't match) but this is a very small point. Lots of hot water in the bathroom! TV is mostly Spanish stations but almost never watched it with all the activity of Sitges just outside.||One recommendation would be to put a reminder in the lobby about the roof deck. We were so comfortable in our apartment that it never really occurred to me that there was a roof deck to explore, although I remember from the website and now from other reviews.||In the morning there are cafés nearby (on the upper street is much better) and our favorite Tapas place was just 4 doors down toward the beach - look for the blue door on the same side of the street and happy people eating lots of tapas!||I would definitely return - we had a great stay at Kare No.

The soundproofing is so poor you can hear everything from neighboring rooms. Additionally, there is a bar right next door that is extremely loud late into the night. Even inside the room, I couldn't find rest because the fridge was incredibly noisy and ran constantly. • Room Condition & Maintenance: The accommodation is poorly maintained and feels neglected. The bathroom sink was partially clogged, causing drainage issues, and the lighting flickered throughout my entire stay. The room itself was extremely small, dark, and felt claustrophobic. • Value for Money: Given the high price point, the quality of this stay was significantly below expectations. Between the lack of basic maintenance, the constant noise, and the hidden costs for necessities like towels, it was a very unpleasant experience. Overall: I would not recommend this property to anyone. You can find much better value elsewhere.

I’d highly recommend this place as a great place to stay when visiting Sitges. It’s a well equipped apartment in the heart of the village. The balcony had a great view and was an awesome place to chill. They have a washing machine and dryer available too. Check in was easy and the instructions were via WhatsApp and all queries were promptly answered. I’ve stayed in Sitges many times in the past, always in hotels but this time my girlfriend suggested these apartments. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Highly Recommend! New upgrades, very cool A/C, high water pressure w/ hot/cold temps, comfortable mattress, lots of towels, coffee maker (bring own coffee cups), microwave, fridge, stove top, kitchen utensils, closet space & rooftop terrace/lounge. The large windows to balcony really create the Spanish vibe- great for coffee & reading in the morning. Not a Smart TV and no ability to cast/mirror phone FYI. But you shouldn’t need it, b/c location is central with beach within view from balcony, restaurants, bars & shops.

This was our third stay at Kare No and we would still recommend these short stay apartments. The apartments have everything you need, management responds promptly to any issues, the beds are comfortable and the storage works so that you don't have luggage and clothing all over the room. If I have any criticism it is the wifi. You probably would not be able to do a working vacation because the signal is typically weak. However, if you just need to check emails or catch up on some news, it is more than adequate (plus "working" and "vacation" don't go together. In prior visits we had always stayed on a 1st floor (for reference that is 2nd floor to Americans) in the front of the building where you will get some street noise but this time we stayed in the back on the ground floor and heard no street noise. The building is solid so you also don't hear anything from the unit above you. Bonus - the communication from the office before you arrive is excellent.

We arrived early by train and were able to walk to the hotel, which is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and beaches, in the heart of Sitges. Google Maps directed us easily without any problems. The apartment was clean, nice, and well taken care of. We were only staying 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday, July), as such, we did not use the kitchen. The time we spent in the apartment was mostly limited to sleeping, of which we slept well, no noises bothered us, even though the town was very busy. Check in and out were easy. We would stay here again.

At first this looks like a very nice apartment, managed well. After our stay we were unfortunately surprised by not getting our deposit completely back. At arrival the iron supplied looked burned and there were holes in the cover of the ironing board. A new iron was quickly there, but after not even completely heated up I burned this iron immediately. The reason was the cover: which sticked to the iron, with my brand new shirt in between. Ruined. ||SitgesGroup now charges me €25 for a new cover. I find this insane, as their equipment wasn’t up to the task and the aftercare in handling this is even more ridiculous. My shirt? They don’t seem to care. ||So I have to advice you not to stay here. Let’s be fair: the location is great, couldn’t be better. Close to restaurants and the beach. The apartment looks great, but the used materials are cheap and a bit worn down. The walls are paper thin: despite the usual street noise (always in Sitges), you can hear your neighbors talk, hear every word. Something seems to be off with the air vents as they transfer every sound. |Normally I wouldn’t be too worried about this, as I just sleep there and be out for the rest of my time. But after such surprises, I have to be honest. Cleanliness is my last suggestion to improve: dust everywhere and the shower wasn’t too clean either. Furniture is damaged.
