Rooms are basic but adequate (based on my research, they are probably the best in the area), expensive for what you get (70€/£60/$90) - but that’s the case everywhere in the village as it’s remote and there’s limited competition.
Very good breakfast and dinner.
Amazing view on the lake from the restaurant and terrace.
Friendly host (but note it can be hard to communicate given our nonexistent Turkish and the host's limited English skills).
Nice hikes nearby (Seven Monastery is a must - ~2h roundtrip, fairly easy although not flat, nice views on the lake and ruins), but found the ruins around the lake itself aren't great compared to the rest of Turkey. I wasn't sure what to expect at Bafa and was slightly disappointing overall: very expensive (and basic) lodging and food, and not that much to do there. May pick Dilek peninsula over this if I go back to the area (pristine beaches and hiking opportunities), and better lodging nearby.
