I couldn't recommend the hostel more. The beds are so comfortable, with clean and soft bed sheets, and the AC is at the perfect temperature. Huge kitchen to cook your own meals. The supermarket is just a few minutes away. And the communal area is spacious as well and has heaps of spots to chill and rest after a day of exploring or diving. Everything is super clean. Furthermore, the staff is super nice and helpful. If you want to explore the island, you can rent a scooter or a buggy directly from the hostel. The Karibbik Haus Hostel was exactly what I needed and wanted for my stay in San Andres.

Really kind owners! My daughter and I got sick and they helped us get meds. This is a family run place. Great location near a beach and you can hop on and off the white buses to explore the entire island! Loved the chill atmosphere and family vibe.

Wifi speed is not stable. It’s around 20-45 mbit. Private room for 160 k a night. Payment by card possible. Room will be locked with padlock. You can use your own if you want. Room has airco and fridge. A few hangers for your clothes. Plugs near the bed. Bathroom shelf which has sink on it seems unstable and towel rack is loose. Small soap rack in shower. Shower has no shower head and as everywhere in San Andres only cold water. Toilet brush available which is pretty rare! At reception staff is friendly, smooth check in, English speaking. Contact via WhatsApp. At reception there’s a place with a hose to wash the sand of your feet. Common area with kitchen and sitting area.

Excellent hostel, very clean, well-equipped, comfortable, with a warm welcome. I stayed there for a week, and I highly recommend it! The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, taking great care of their guests. The overall atmosphere of the hostel is inviting and conducive to a pleasant stay.

We initially planned to stay at this hostel for only a couple of days, but we extended our stay with 2 weeks because we really enjoyed the hostel and the island. The owners are really friendly and always willing to help you with whatever you need. Besides that, the rooms and the common areas are very clean and spacious. You easily meet other guests, however take in mind that it’s not a party hostel. The location of the hostel is also perfect (good and safe) and you can easily walk to the city centre or beach within +/- 10 minutes. We would definitely recommend staying in this hostel if you are looking for a good quality hostel in San Andres. Kind regards, Femke & Lennard from Holland. :)

Super helpful staff. Clean and good equiped with own kitchen if needed and breakfast for 20k. The Scooterrental was super and there is free coffee from 8 to 10am everyday. Terrace a little bit noisy beacuse of the street but very close to the center.

We stayed 5 nights at Karribik and really enjoyed the chilled vibes. It's a small place which suited us but always someone around to have a chat with. There's a chill out area with a TV which was good for a stormy afternoon but a nice balcony with tables and swing seats too. We stayed in a private room so can't comment on the dorms but we had a huge bed and our own bathroom. Towels/bedding were changed every couple of days. The kitchen was great, we cooked everyday. There's a D1 supermarket 5 minutes away for bargain essentials and a bigger Supertodo a bit further away for fruit and veg. It was about 2km walk from the main beach but this meant it was nice and quiet (our room was at the back so our room was quiet) and you can get a bus pretty much outside down to Rocky Cay if you don't want to walk. Rosie was great, answered any queries and sorted any issues immediately. They scooters and golf buggies available for rent for a good price. There were ants in the kitchen at times but this was due to other guests being lazy and not cleaning up in the kitchen. Would recommend this place to anybody who prefers a chilled place to stay.

I highly recommend Karibbik Haus Hostel. I stayed there for three nights and wish I could have extended my trip! It's in a great location, about a 15 minute walk from the beach and about 20 min walk from the airport. The owner was incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. All the rooms are air conditioned (yay!) and there is a lovely hammock out on the deck where you can relax after a long day at the beach. Breakfast was also delicious, and the general atmosphere was very relaxed. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, gracias!!
